Well, the service is great. I appreciated the extra measures taken to ensure that I was vaccinated. The food was also pretty stellar, I really enjoyed the Haus made ceaser dressing. They used grainy mustard in it, which is %1000 so good. They also made a not-to-bad old fashion. 10/10 will be back.

Nice Patio dining and good service here. The food is fresh and tasty but not like outstanding. Very good food though with menu items to suit whatever you may be craving. Their beverage list is very diverse so whatever beer you want or desire to try they certainly have it. A pleasant dining experience.

I went here tonight and buddy touched my phone to zoom in. I told him not to touch my phone. I explained we’re in a pandemic and how many phones has he already touched? Then he puffed up his little man feathers and told me I don’t have even let you in. So I sat down and 20 mins passed and nobody came out to get us drinks even. We all left. I promise I will never set foot in that place again, nor should you if you’re reading this.

Quickly served a perfect Negroni which is hard to find, the big block of ice made it just right. The Calamari was tender but crispy and mixed with a great variety of tasty deep fried veggies. Ill definitely be back with more feedback, but before I forget the staff get a shout out for their speed, efficiency and great attitude.

Always had good food and friendly service here. The only place I have found so far that has a pretty good gluten-free pizza!

Very friendly, clean, music play list was perfectly curated and was the perfect volume that it just floated past your ears and didnt interfere with conversation. Food was delicious and I highly recommend the apple pie (seriously the best Ive ever had). The manager Jaime is so lovely, warm and charming. He knows how to engage with customers and make them feel welcome. Will be coming back and making this our go-to pub

Its a beer house, but the food is amazing. Had the hawaiian pizza, the wings, the Japanese bit-sized steak and the perogies, with a glass of Bue Buck Ale. All on-point. The service was friendly and attentive. This place was introduced to me by a chef from Calgary. After having been here, I highly recommend it, as a foodie.

The food is excellent here! The pizza is top-notch and cheesy, the perogies are to die for. I guess I dont need to write much about the beer, as it is a beer house and the selection is good. They also show sports games on their TV screens here.

This place has gone far downhill we used to come often I think itll be a long while before we come back.Very poor cut steak sandwich steak was very full of gristle and mostly threw out, salad was flat and wilty old lettuce.I feel these problems could be fixed if the cooks or chef payed better attention to the ingredients and food going out.

It was an absolutely fantastic experience. Our server was amazing, and she really went above and beyond for my girlfriend and I. We both had the Holy Grale burger and Parmesan fries, and they were superb! It is really a phenomenal place to go for upscale dining with a casual feel!

Got off to a rough start with the young servers, but they were exponentially better once settled into a groove. Calamari is the BEST I have ever eaten. Greek fries not so much. Yes, theyre inexpensive during Happy hour, but for Petes sake, throw a shake of actual Greek seasoning on there! Beer is excellent.

Interesting how I wrote a review of the food poisoning I got from this place a few weeks ago and it’s not visible, so I’m writing a new review. I got horrific food poisoning three weeks ago from 1600. I almost didn’t make it home from the restaurant, that’s how quickly I got sick from the hot chicken sandwich (or whatever it was that was contaminated). I thought I was going to die, and was scolded by AHS the following day for not calling myself an ambulance. The restaurant claimed they conducted a thorough investigation and then when they offered to send me a cheque they asked me for the details of my bill. Real “thorough investigation” there. I’m not sure when I’ll trust a restaurant again.I did not sit there for several hours. As I told you in the email I was there for about 45 minutes and had to leave immediately after I paid because I was feeling so sick. I was too sick to call the restaurant that night, but I did call the next day and speak to Jason. So both those statements are completely false. I really don’t appreciate the way they are trying to turn this on me like I did something wrong.

I would have liked to have given them more but they “glutened” a friend’s dinner when they had more than ensured her they were cautious and it wouldn’t happen.A group of us went for a drink and a bite after work Friday. Nice room good happy hour specials. But the happy hour specials have drastically reduced in what’s available ( you can see the old list under the sticker of specials)Service was a bit slow to start. Host came by to tell us server would be by. Over 5 minutes to be greeted by server. Was a busy room.Drinks came out ok. Food was good. In the past I’d had the pizza. I’ll do that when I go back.Calamari was nicely breaded and spiced. Good sized portion.Nachos were good. Great portions of dips.My friend enjoyed her burger and yam fries until she had the attack from the gluten. Not good

Wings here were a little inconsistent in size where the size was questionable but the service here was a good time that makes up for it. The yam fries with the dipping is really good as well. Selection of beer was also great.

The staff is always great very friendly and on point. Tried the Greek ribs for the first time , they were delicious. Great beer selection too.

Unbelievable food and service!Stopped coming 4 years ago due to poor service and decided to give 1600 another chance. Wow!!!!Ordered the chicken fajitas, house salad and siracha prawns. Best meal we have had in a long time. Met Jimmy (Mngr) and Gocha (server) who were amazing to say the least.Any organization would be lucky to have Jimmy representing them front of house! He was friendly and truly enjoyed talking to him about the food, recipes and great service. We met the chef and had to compliment him and his team on the food quality. Overall an amazing experience!Thankful we came back!!

Good, but Hot chicken sandwich was about as hot as a hot sandwich from A&W. So I feel like I was lied to. Staff, location, and the ice tea was good. Oh and the ceasar salad was pretty bland.

It may be a Bier Hause but the food is excellent! Since moving to the neighborhood I visited this place a few times and each time I tried something else and so far I have not been disappointed with the food and I doubt that I would be. Great service and the great atmosphere. Most definitely I would recommend this place even if you have to drive a short distance to get here.

Just had a great brunch experience! The eggs Benny was AMAZING. Eggs were perfectly poached, hollandaise sauce was delicious, the house salad was super fresh and exceeded expectations. Make sure to try their house hot sauce! My husband’s meal was also spot on!

Great lunch today. Super clean lots of dividers and covid safety stuff. I had the steak sandwich and my wife had the fajitas. Both were awesome. As you would expect a good selection of beer as well.

The food is pretty good. Some great and some just ok. Great selection of beer. The last time I was there, there were issues with my burger of all things. The first time it came out it was missing all the toppings (lettuce tomato pickle etc) and had no sauce. The second time it came out it had about half. Everyone else had finished by the time mine came out. I don’t need them comp it but even an apology would have been nice.

Decent beer menu, not as extensive as I’d think considering the name. Food is average pub food Service was fine. Definitely not enough people working as we were seated and then promptly ignored until a manager popped by to take a drink order.

Truly the 1600 has the greatest burgers and the best Haus Salad! Great service for takeout and very friendly people. So nice to have such good food right at Glenmore Landing. I enjoy the atmosphere and the great beer they have on tap when it is safe to go there and have dinner and even watch some sports.

I highly recommend 1600 World Bier Haus for the food, drinks and fantastic service. Theres a wide selection of beers, of course, and the food is always top-notch. The blackened-chicken fajitas are my personal favorite. My daughter loves the Cobb Salad (with beef tenderloin) and the World Burger. But you really cant go wrong with anything on the menu.Lately there have been some great new cocktails like a Blackberry Mojito and Apple Snap added to the drinks selection. The staff at 1600 is always friendly and makes you feel at home. Definitely one of the best restaurants and lounges in Calgary!

Their POS system seems to be finicky, so keep a close eye on your bill. We encountered an issue where we were overcharged for our beverages. Unfortunately the service staff wasnt able to do anything about it.

The parmesan fries were to die for and our service was excellent. Rachelle is an amazing server and always anticipated when we needed drink refills. Definitely coming back.

I love the 1600. The staff is always so friendly and makes the restaurant feel like I have a “home away from home.” The food is also amazing. I really enjoy their burgers, fajitas, and pizza. I would recommend the 1600 for anyone who lives in SW Calgary.

My wife, son and I stopped here for dinner. We were seated in a section that was assigned to a very busy waitress who was unable to look after us right away. After sitting for 10 minutes a delightful young lady named Daniella saw that we hadnt been served and took it upon herself to make us feel welcome. She took on our table and did a top notch job looking after us. From there on the service was impeccable and the food was tremendous. Cant wait to return.

Ordered nachos to share and asked for a Coke Zero. The nachos were overcooked nearing burnt and when I asked a different server for a refill on the coke Zero she informed that they didnt carry zero and the diet coke was busted. The servers were very nice and the atmosphere was good.

Best Pizza Ive had in the city. Im sure there are other hidden gems, but this beats whats known as the Calgarian Pizza. Great beer selection and most food is great too. Bring back the philly steak style sandwich!

My family and I attended the Prime rib dinner ticketed event last Sunday.When we arrived we waited to be seated. The restaurant taking all necessary precautions for covid. The place was quiet busy! We sat our table to find sanitizer at the table, love this, makes it easy to keep hygienic.It was quite hectic at first, took a while to get our drinks, server seemed a bit frazzled. We had to grab her attention to take our order as we wanted appitzers.We ordered the spinach dip, calimari and the Japanese steak bites.Spinach dip was tasty, only fall back was there was not enough pita bread. Found out later you can ask for more, not something that most people would know to ask. Perhaps the server could have told us when we ordered.Calimari was tender, light and crispy on the outside, I love the jalepenos in there! The dip is delicious but honestly I could eat this calimari on its own its that good.Japanese steak bites!!! Yaaassss order these!! Delicious morsels dipped in the decidant sauce..couple bites were a bit big but other than that yuuummmm.At this point our server seemed to hit her stride, checking on drinks and clearing plates. Making sure all was going well. Perhaps overwhelmed with the amount of tables all at once.Then our main course, the big event, Prime rib with skin on mashed potatoes roasted Brussels and a Yorkshire pudding. Dont forget the demo glaze!! The Prime rib was cooked to perfect, just the right temp and seasoning.. Im not a fan of skin on mashed but these were good, along with the silky roasted Brussels. The Yorkshire was on point the perfect cup for my demo glaze to be sliced into and poured onto the plate! The portions were huge!! Took left overs home and made a killer breakfast burrito!!The chef came out to check on everything, making sure we were enjoying our time and thanking us for coming out. Beautiful touch! Always nice to see the person who cooks your food.We really enjoyed our meal and thank you to the team it prepared it!!

I wish there was a 0 star. The food was so bad. It was the 5th time for me there and everything was bad, music, staff and food. Make yourself a favor and go to McDonalds, at least you know what to expect.

Average bar food, above average prices, WAY BELOW AVERAGE service. We got Greek and Thai fusion wings, which were ok. I got the wild mushroom soup and kale salad, my friend got the cedar plank salmon. My food was okay, a bit on the small side but nothing special. My friends food was burnt all the way through. The waitress was rude, slammed the food down like we were animals, made snide remarks. Ill be writing the manager directly because it was offensive and unacceptable. My first time here but I probably wont be back to this location. We were on the patio and I feel like wed have had better service if we were inside. The waitresses inside were smiling and seemed nice.

We had our Studio Member Challenge Wrap Up/Holiday Party here last Friday and we had an absolute blast. We had more amazing members show up than expected and the staff at 1600 was more than accommodating scrambling to get us extra seating and tables. Food was amazing and everyone had a lot of fun! We will definitely be hosting our future events here!

Was probably one of the best medium rare steak sandwich I ever ate and that includes cooking my own. Waitress was very personable and very friendly. If every waitress was like her restaurants I believe would prosper. Very nice atmosphere and very open and welcoming it was a pleasure to eat there and I will definitely go back and dirrenatly reccomend it to friends and family!

Really enjoyed our meal at the resturant. We had one of the best burgers ever!! Service was excellent. Staff were very friendly and inviting. Patio was refreshing. Very relaxed environment.We enjoyed it so much that we went back a second time during the appy hour. Had a variety of appies and a couple of beers. Their plate of Nachos is delicious!! Will highly recommend this restaurant and we will definitely go back when we are in Calgary again!!

Fantastic selection of world beers on tap and bottle. I dont often go for the food but on the rare occasion when I did, it was good. Washrooms are always clean which is a bonus in my books. Lots of parking available and a vibrant atmosphere.Recommend!

Nice patio, tasty wings

Visited 1600 World Bier Haus mid week which had a low key but classy ambience. We had the Fun-Guy pizza which was delicious with honey truffle aioli, and the Angry Hawaiian pizza which was a great fruity but spicy combination. Matt the Bartender/Server was friendly and took some extra time to converse with us, and make us feel more than welcome. Will definitely be back !
