Worst experience. He is just concerned with his OPD fees and his commission with various labs.He could not diagnose the problem my mother had which were visible issues for colon cancer that can easily be understood by any gastroenterologist but just because he wanted his OPD fees only he mentioned unexplained weight loss and did not even ask for any further tests as it was covid time and waited for covid to end so that we get tests done from lab with which he has tie ups and wasted our time and let the problem get bigger.Worst experienceWould recommend anyone having issues related to stomach to visit proper hospital like fortis, pgi, max etcDont risk your patient life

They just want money..did my colonoscopy for no good reason..even informed the charges of test after it was done..doesnt hear the problem...I had heard he is a good dr but my experience is worst..not recommended at all
His Consultation Fee is Rs. 700. He diagnosed me through whatsapp video call.I was suffering through infection, IBS and dry mouth but he continued to treat me for anxiety and gastric issue. Infection increased and Problem got severed after one week but he stick to the old prescription. Very bad experience.
We had emergency and staff insisted to get the slip first. After slip was created, they told us to wait for 1 hour. Ridiculous service
He has no knowledge at all ...diagnosed my severe GI condition with IBS ...I have been diagnosed with small intestine bacterial overgrowth now ....if he would have been more sensible and suggest some test that time only my one year wont have been wasted ......doctor like rajeev should be ashamed of themselves how can they misdiagnose someone without any further investigation and make them believe they are crazy and its all in your head ..pathetic doctor
Horrible horrible doctor. Went to this quack about 2 years ago because of stomach issues. He said thats Im just taking stress and its all in my head without doing any investigations. After 2 years of suffering mental and physical issues, finally got diagnosed with Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth. DO NOT GO THIS GUY. There are lots of other much better gastroenterologists in Chandigarh. This one is too arrogant for his own good.
A patient had stomach issues for over three weeks and she took Dr Sarwal’s prescribed medication for two weeks and he gave strong medicines without the right diagnosis.Later his mistake caused jaundice in the patient and the illness became even more complicated.He is unhelpful and misdirects the whole time.

Plzz... never go to this doctor.... he is inhuman and doesnt care about the patient... endoscopy done by him cannot be trusted.. they are in so hurry in closing the clinic that they dont even care that the patient is feeling dizzy and vomiting..

Bad doc.visted for stomach pain he didnt gave any medicine or talked in good way.simply said first get this hefty colonoscopy for 3500 then i will give medicine..just wasted 500rs as consultation.never ever visit any gastro doc they will treat you as psychiatric patients and For any stomach problem they will treat you for IBS only.they have studied IBS only nothing else.its my personsl experience of five different gastro docs.all treat for ibs only
Very good and experienced doctor. But showing him on the same day is a tough task. His personal assistant demanda a lot of request to have an appointment of same day
No doctor patient connection, no dietary or lifestyle suggestion, just another medicine disposing machine, didnt even asked symptoms, just gave plethora of tests. Went there only because of PGI tag, but visiting him made me doubt his credibility, i m sorry to say but even local chemists analyse u and suggest better!! I totally agree with the viewpoints of other people who have criticized him. Big ships sink slowly, maybe thats the reason for so much crowd at his place.
I have visited dr Sarwal two times in the last 4 years reg gastro problems of my family members. Although there was rush but after some time I was properly attended both times. The health problem was solved by the treatment given by dr sarwal ji and his diagnosis is accurate and he is well qualified and very learned doctor with vast experience and knowledge. What a shame he is on the name of doctors. My sister with down syndrome was suffering from melena. We made appointment and after just looking at my sister he refused to treat. He did not followed doctors oath that states to treat all patients equal despite of physical and mental wellness. Excuse me mr dr sarwal u shud had atleast checked patients vitals and shud had referred to pgi nicely explaining the complexity of the procedure. Very poor attitude of staff and doctor too.they even dont have sense how to talk to a patient. They just only help the person when he has to give his first consultation fee. After that they even dont treat u well.
