I had the pleasure of working with the team at Adidevelopment. The staff that is on site is wonderful. They responded quickly to my needs and were very professional. Rhonda, Rennie and Daniel were great! The whole team was helpful and very pleasant to deal with. Thxs Rhonda for helping me complete my mission . Its so nice to meet people that really care .
When I moved into my apartment originally, I was frustrated with the delays, tardiness and in my opinion unresponsiveness to concerns and what not raised by me. I had shared these concerns with another friend who purchased a unit here who expressed a mutual frustration as well. She however mentioned a turn around in things when she met a man by the name Daniel German, an employee at ADI Developments. She recommended I connect with him If I wanted a difference maker.I grudgingly accepted and excitedly requested to speak with Daniel and to my utmost surprise, all the adulations my friend bestowed on him, I couldnt agree more with her from just conversing with Daniel briefly on the phone before meeting in person. His energy was radiant and positive. Daniel is extremely serviceable and an exceptional professional. When I spoke on the phone with him, he said he was going to be at mine within a designated time and he honored that commitment. We went through some of the concerns I raised and he had solutions for the ones within his forte and asked me to keep him engaged on some of the outstanding issues and even offered to assist if I wasnt able to gain traction with some of those. It gives me the greatest comfort knowing you have people like Daniel German working at ADI who is reliable, very professional, honest and a subject matter expert.ADI might still have a reputation to hang on to despite the negative reviews because of people like Daniel German. Well done sir!!!
Chris Sebanc was the most professional and responsiveness individual. My family and I had encountered an issue and as soon as we brought it to Chriss attention, he invested his time and energy into rectifying the unjust situation we encountered. Chris communicated with us every step of the way! Chris we want to thank you and we truly appreciate your efforts! You were beyond amazing! Thanks - a true processional.
Wow look at the attached photos of the terrible workmanship by Adi developments !—————This has to be THE WORST builder in Ontario, I purchased a unit at Station West in 2016 and they have still not delivered and have no clear date of when they will deliver.Zero communication from the leadership of the company, the CEO should be calling every purchaser and apologizing for these delays and offering some sort of credit. This is my 6th preconstruction purchase in 8 years and I have never experienced this type of bad business from other builders. They keep using COVID as an excuse for the delay however other builders that I purchased from are having no problem delivering on time.I really feel for the families that purchased here and have been given so many false hopes, eventually this type of monkey business will catch up with you Adi Developments.
I bought a house @Station West Feb/2021 from an investor within one month after the original closing, so my opinion is based on my experience with them as I am dealing with Tarion warranty issues, that are normal in any new construction. I am not able to comment on anything prior to 2021.Before I expand in my experience, I have to say that I like the design and overall quality of the property. I knew there were HVAC contracts and I have requested in writing from Enercare the buyout amounts for 2 pieces of equipment. I have a written response from Enercare. I took time to get that out of Enercare. But that is another discussion all togetherIn regards to my experience as an owner, so far is all about Tarion reported items:It has been an excellent experience dealing with the customer service team , both Daniel G, and Rennie. They are courteous, respectful and are dealing with my concerns effectively.Daniel communication and updates have been on point and I really appreciate the extra effort he is putting to get things done .I can also put things in perspective. We are in the middle of the pandemic and it is always a challenge to make things happen. My Tarion concerns are being taken care off and none of them are major. All handy-man level of repairs. I had the house inspected after I received it (we are in a non-inspection, sellers market so the non-inspection was something I was accountable for), and there were no major issues outside the Tarion items.I would certainly buy from ADI again. I will revisit this review after First Inspection fixes expires, but for the time being I have no major concerns.**update Sept 27 2021: all my Tarion items reported are fixed.
One of the worst developers I had the experience to work with. The quality was so poor... I wanted to give the hundreds of photos I had to the owners so they could sue for the garbage they received. Would never recommend there product to anyone and Ive been in the building industry for over 30 years. Its so sad to see developers get away with such trash. The owner, Saud Adi, is an absolutely horrible person to work with as he only cares for the bottom dollar that he can fill his pockets with. Ive seen on several occasions how he belittled the little guy in front of many workers to make himself feel big... Pathetic. Then not paying them too boot!If you can, stay far away from anything this developer builds. May look good from the outside, but from what Ive seen from the building perspective... STAY CLEAR! I am far & clear from these clowns so I have zero to gain, just clearing a guilty conscience I suppose.Godspeed...
Adi Developments. I can’t thank more to Alison , Rennie and Matin . These ladies went beyond the call of their duties and made sure that most of my concerns are handled professionally and reasonably.Obliviously there were some issues initially (So does happen with all other builders ),But what made a real difference is facing a irated / dissatisfied customer , listening to him and trying to find a solution ( even if doesn’t fall in to their job responsibilities) and that’s what these three ladies did it all the time , representing true Adi .Obviously they couldn’t expedite few of the things which were beyond their control but what they did from customer service point of view was setting up a benchmark.Yes ,eventually they were able to find a resolution to most of my issues .These three ladies are a true star and asset to Adi DevelopmentsThanks once again Ladies , you rock
I could not agree more with the posts below about this builder being extremely unprofessional and having absolutely terrible communication.I purchased a townhome at StationWest in February 2020 that was supposed to be ready in September 2020. Yes COVID happened and I understand there are delays but we are almost a year later and still not occupied. The builder has told me it would ready the end of 2020, then February, then March, then June, then end of July; all while knowing very well it was no where near being completed. They never once reached out to update anything and it was on me to reach out to them every single time to find out what was going on.I was finally given a date of August 6 or 9th to occupy and close. I confirmed that this would be the date as I would be giving up my month to month rental. Sure enough this day is no longer the day, I’ve had no official communication from the builder and my 2 year old daughter and I are now without a place to live. I specifically expressed my concern to the builder and wanted them to be absolutely sure this date wouldn’t change and I was told it was fine. Now here we are. This builder is an absolute joke and I will never be purchasing from them again and advise everyone to do the same.If you do plan on purchasing from them I hope you have friends or family to stay with when you rely on their inaccurate information and ultimately end up homeless.
Very disappointed with customer service. Friendly but they dont get the job done. Also some of the trades just dont care. I would like to think that people put pride in there work. Not the case.
Severely disappointed by our purchase from this builder. After being confidently sold an inventory unit that was supposed to close in January 2021 (the same units that we looked at in September 2020 that were also almost done), we have not once received any formal notice of any delays. Just wishy washy phone calls pushing the closing date forward, each time with a new reason for the delay. Our lives have been put on hold by the shady practices happening here - future buyers, please be aware of the following:- This is the only builder my whole family has worked with that does not communicate delays with registered mail or give a 3-month notice that a move-in date is not going to be hit. So if you are renting, good luck dealing with possibly being homeless!- This is a builder who will tell you that your house is closing within the month only to tell you a week or two before that a new delay has happened- This is a builder who will respond to your public reviews within seconds but delay responding to emails and inquiries for weeksPrepare for COVID-related delays that no other builder is facing (I would know because I have MANY relatives and friends working with other builders who are handling COVID delays with grace), prepare for uncertainty and heartache if you purchase from this builder. Thanks Adi Developments for souring what would have been an exciting time for myself and my fiancé, putting months of stress on our plate, and keeping your customers in the dark about an extremely large purchase. I will NEVER purchase from this builder again and highly advice everybody to do the same.
If i could give this company 0 stars I would. They have time to find excuses such as pandemic but dont have the time to send out a simple statement of when they expect our houses to be built. From our perspective are we supposed to lease another place for 6 7 8 months? Maybe even over a year. The least they can do is give people some sort of timeline. The pandemic doesnt stop you from emailing people. Shady company. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY WITH THEM
Bought a home from them, got it with multiple issues mentioned in their own PDI and now its been 2 months and still not fixed, their customer service is horrible and very unresponsive. Highly recommend not to buy any homes from them. My worst experience ever.Edit: Rennie has been following up with me, happy with her. Changing my rating from 1 star to 4
ADI has lacked in many area. They never on time. Their elevators, that are new, break down, as does the garage door too. Their fire system has gone off countless times, in very cold climate, false alarm. There was no handicap designated supports installed in project and disabled individuals had hard time moving around. That does seem conscienceless. Some projects seem to be incomplete and seem will never be complete. There are mostly complaints that you read here and those complaints are actual reviews.
Reposting as someone reported my last post??I don’t know where to start off but this is quite upsetting and unprofessional how our unit was handed over to us with many issues we found done by our own inspection despite ADI doing their own PDI inspection and finding the bare minimum.Bought a unit back in 2016, closing date was extended several times and now finally within 10 days notice literally last minute in March 2021 they advised us the closing date was the end of the month and we had to rush to get everything done as we lost hope due to the extensions before (pre-covid) and also caused by COVID assuming the closing date would be in the summer. When our unit was handed over to us everything looked like it was rushed, literally paint marks/drops on the floor, kitchen and bathroom cabinets don’t even close properly and get stuck on the vanity/countertops, toilet seat not being aligned straight, other issues to mention too.Honestly fingers crossed it’s better to wait for EVERYTHING to be finished around the Unit and Cooke Blvd then we’ll see if we wish to keep our condo past a year but it’s just upsetting how ADI took 4 and a half years on a project and rushed the closing date for StationWest Condos and just said “screw it here’s the keys.” Our family has dealt with Mattamy homes and Branthaven, would definitely only buy from both of them again when it comes to piece of mind and professional work being done.ADI needs to compensate for these delays.
If I could do zero stars, I would. My unit has been significantly delayed, no communication from the builder. When I contact theres no response. I wouldnt make another purchase with this builder if I was paid to do so.Please please please take these reviews seriously and do not buy from them. You wont get your purchase for years, they can blame Covid-19 for the delays but another builder Im currently dealing with for another new build is perfectly on time, all my friends with various builders are all getting their units on time. This is before Ive even gotten my unit, based on the other reviews who knows how many more problems Ill be facing after I get it. Hey atleast I wont have to worry about those problems for a while, my unit which I was supposed to have 9 months ago is merely a wooden frame at this point.
My husband and I purchased NAUTIQUE in July of 2016 for our not so little one anymore. We’re on the 1#th floor and intend on having every upgrade possible. After reading all the negative reviews tonight I can’t help but worry. I truly hope that ADI does not cut corners and delivers this project as (now) promised by 2023. I don’t think I can take any more delays!!We have also been looking forward to investing into Realm, but I think we shall skip any future investments until NAUTIQUE is completed.*3/5 stars due to delay and incompletion of the project.
I am another unhappy customer of ADI developers.Bought a Stacked townhouse unit at Station west, Burlington. It seems ADI customer care people, are answering to those reviews only where they can add wordings like --Adi Development Group prides itself on offering unmatched value, the highest quality home ,At Adi, your satisfaction and delivering world class service is our top priority., etc...Well none of it is true to its wording. There is no proper reply to our grievances, complaints. There have been issues starting with delay in construction, getting possession of the unit, forcing us to sign contracts in order to get the possession of unit, forgetting to do upgrades, ignoring to provide us the basic items in the house, inferior quality of appliances,....They advertised the project as leading edge. And they could not even give us a bedroom ceiling light fixture. Just an electrical outlet for a plug-in lamp ! - Is this is idea of a New Build House. The strongest kick we got was when we were forced to sign the Enercare Rental Contract for the HVAC equipment - Water tank, Air handler, AC & ERV. It is $47.00 for each rental equipment ? A rip off.We were not even asked or told that such equipment will be installed in the units and no option was given to us to discuss or understand the situation. It was Sign the contract or no possession will be given.I am sure if you go through other reviews you will find similar anger among other unit holders. I have met other unit holders also in the same project and all of them are in the same boat, they all have frustrations against the developer. I personally would not recommend making any purchase from ADI Developers. And I hope someone from ADI would reply and get back to us with a proper solution to our major problem.
Shady builder. Be aware of major unforeseen HVAC contracts. and extreme delays with no communication
Worst Builder i ever seen . very poor finishing house not complete and they push for closing. after closing we have alot of issue . house was mess condition didn do cleaning. long delay in everything.
4/1/2021LMAO to the prices of Realm!!..... YALL THIEVES !!........*This is my first google review*Firstly I would like to make it clear that I am not a customer of ADI, but I am compelled to do the right thing here if someone is considering an investment in real estate from ADI.Be very cautious of any of these 4 and 5 star reviews you see for ADI. The 1 star reviews are genuine based on what I have heard and what I have seen in the craftsmanship.Unfortunately, this builder is boasting about building the exceptional. There is nothing exceptional about their product or services. Building the Misleading maybe? It is all about the money and they cut corners where it only benefits their business, but what is unfortunate is they are in an industry where cutting corners to benefit your business drastically hurts your customers. Im sure this will catch up to them in the end but unfortunately a lot more homeowners are going to get hurt by ADI over-promising and under-delivering.The exterior and interior craftsmanship is pretty embarrassing from what I have seen and they are not delivering on materials or services that was listed in some (or all?) of their sales packages. This is terrible!!! Curate might be a tough sell for them because its one thing to sell off a pretty rendering but when you have to physically show potential buyers the product with this much lack of attention to detail that is going on.. yikes! This is your biggest investment in your life, do your homework! There are many builders out there.Jeff.
Dont get too much info regarding our condo and town house 🤔not surprised by all the 1 stars and 2 stars. No communication regarding both my propertys. Not impressed with quality and workmanship. I am very happy with Rennie sansom. Very helpful and getting back with updates. Please have my town house done soon. Thanks.
Very professional team in customer service ,my special Thanks to Rennie and Daniel ,for great service ,and waiting for us for intro to new condo ,and very friendly ,and helpful .They waited for us ,and made no rush ,as we came from far ,were delayed in traffic .Looking forward to meeting them again .

To say that I’m deeply disappointed and dissatisfied would be an understatement. I’m writing this review to share my bad experience with ADI developers. In 2016 I came across what seemed to be a good opportunity to purchase a new build Stationwest stacked townhome from ADI developers. It was presented as attractive and modern homes being constructed by a reputable builder –ADI Developers. The tenant occupancy date was initially set for March 2018 however due to numerous delays and lack of transparency on the reason/s for the delays by ADI Developers, we were finally granted tenant occupancy in August 2020. But unfortunately, that was not the end of the story because this was just the beginning of another nightmare for me. The main concerns I would like to highlight in my review include but are not limited to: central air conditioning, forced contracts, misleading information and occupancy close issue. As per Schedule B of our contract “Central air conditioning” was to be installed on our property and was included in the cost of the townhouse. And another significant omission was that nowhere in the purchase agreement it was mentioned that the furnace, hot water tank and air-handler would not be owned but rented. To our utter shock, on the day of our occupancy close, we were informed for the first time ever that the formalities of occupancy close will only be completed if we signed a contract with Enercare for all utilities (hot water tank, furnace, air handler and air conditioning). I was completely blind sighted and have been arm twisted into signing a very expensive and non-competitive contract, not of my choosing, that has added a significant ongoing cost to my expenses. My lawyer has reached out on multiple occasions regarding this issue, but to date I have received no response from ADI Developers. As per the information provided to me during walkthrough of model homes was that ceilings for the main level would be 9ft, however the ceiling in our main level are 8ft. Instead of a beautiful wooden patio, cheap and stained concrete slabs have been provided. Additionally, the kitchen model display at their location showed a built-in microwave, but we were provided a regular microwave. Another item promised in the contract that has not been delivered is a double basin stainless steel sink in the kitchen. To my disbelief, one of the very basic requirements in any home that was missing was light fixtures in both bedrooms. Are you kidding me?On the day of occupancy close, once all the legal formalities had been completed, we were informed that ADI is unable to hand over the keys to us due to outstanding work on the property. This work took an additional 20 days to complete after regular follow ups on our end. The day we were finally handed over our keys, we were informed at the doorstep of our home that air conditioning was not working in the unit. Once this issue was resolved a month later, guess what happened……the season for using the air conditioning was over for the year. Now like it or not, I’m forced to pay Enercare for air conditioning rental, despite not being able to use it until next year. The one saving grace in the entire scenario was my positive experience in dealing with Rennie and Daniel from the Customer Service team. However, given the scope of their role within the ADI Developer organization, they were unable to provide any solution to all the issues I have mentioned above.I have faced numerous, unexpected and continued challenges during this investment that I would not wish on anyone to ever have to go through. All the cost cutting tactics and measures used by ADI Developers have very unfortunately added significantly to my cost and ongoing expense. Hence, regretfully I’m compelled to write this review to caution any potential home buyers from facing a similar predicament and having a harrowing experience with ADI Developers.
TERRIBLE experience with this builder, we bought years ago and it is still not ready. zero updates, every time we call they tell us it is because of covid yet other builders are not impacted?????? we finally decided to come out to the location last month to see what is really going on, we spoke with a few contractors and they had a lot to say about this project. issues with quality and MOLD!!! in the houses, we went inside some of them and they look to be going through renovations, we took some images for our records. the contractors told us they have been having this mold issue for awhile and they are having to rip everything out to get rid of it. this is devastating news to us and have already contacted tarion and our lawyer in hopes something can be done or some answers can come out of it. worst decision of our lives entering into this game with this builder!
Purchased a Stationwest stacked townhome. At time of purchase, I was presented with a package that advertised the project asLeading Edge using Contemporary DesignAfter all, settling for anything less simply isnt an optionIt now appears that settling for less what they are expecting Stationwest owners to now do.I rarely or ever recall posting a negative online review, but feel compelled to do so after 3 months of occupancy. The date of occupancy was to be March 19 2018. Moved in July 13, 2020. Almost 2.5 years of multiple delays with poor communication and transparency from ADI.If the multiple ongoing delays were not enough to deal with, I was blindsided with surprises at the time of occupancy. Here are just a few examples.Schedule B in my purchase agreement says:Central Air ConditioningResidents like myself taking who have been taking occupancy at Stationwest were forced into signing a contract to rent HVAC equipment from a third party vendor (Enercare). Could you imagine being put in a position that in order to take occupancy you have to sign an agreement to rent equipment when it is clearly defined as being included in the purchase agreement. ADIs position was that the HVAC equipment in the unit is a service.Schedule B in my purchase agreement says:Open concept plans with soaring 9 ft ceilings throughout principal living areas - the ceilings are only 8 ft in my unit.Schedule B in my purchase agreement says:Built-in Stainless Steel MicrowaveNo microwave was installed in the unit. I was told sorry - your unit doesnt come with a microwave. After about 3 weeks they provide me with a cheap $50 microwave. The Built in Microwave was finally installed 2.5 months after move in and having to prove a built in microwave was in fact included in the purchase agreement and explicitly shown multiple kitchen drawingsThe multiple renderings of the upper patio level provided to me at the time of purchase show great looking composite decking material with glass railingsNo composite decking was used and there are no glass railings. Leading Edge?Instead, what was installed were the cheapest looking stained concrete 2x2 pavers imaginable. The upper patio looks similar to a prison yard. Absolutely nothing remotely close to the renderings I was presented.I was dismayed to learn that no light fixtures could be wired in any of the bedrooms despite the fact that junction boxes were installed in the center of each bedroom ceiling. Really? No Bedroom lights? Just a plug in lamp?I had a Master Electrician in to assess the wiring and he could not believe that either in a new build. Can you imagine that the light switches work a single wall outlet - for a lamp. The list goes on and on but I think you will get the idea here.I have waited 3 months to post a negative review. I realize that things dont always go right and feel I have provided time for ADI to respond in some way to resolve my major concerns.Kudos to Renee and Paul from ADI customer service as they do what they can but the issues I have are far beyond their control. From my experience, I would strongly caution anyone considering making a purchase from ADI.
We had issues with closing and some items missing and unit not cleaned before delivery but customer service has been great so far and are trying to get items fixed ASAP.
Would you believe that the amenity area, the hot tubs and sauna rooms, are still not completed!!!! This is February 14th, 2020!!! They keep saying that things are being repaired and they will open soon. This has literally been years to open. My unit is right beside the amenity area and no work is being completed. We are talking about 2 small hot tubs and 2 small sauna rooms. Building management keeps telling everyone that ADI is working on the repairs. YA RIGHT l!!! Terrible builder. Stay away from purchasing at any of their communities
Are you fking kidding me?! Definitely the worst development company I have ever dealt with! The only thing they are consistent at is failing to keep up with timelines. They have been pulling the strings ever since the beginning delaying the development and breaking promises since 2016. They have rushed the development and asking for the closing amount with a less than 2 weeks notice.. Just terrible and not compliant at all..
World class service all the way! Just moved into Link Condos + Lofts and our suite was impeccable! Thank you to the Adi team for being so courteous and informative every step of the way during and after the buying process. The sales and customer service staff are knowledgeable and respond to any inquiries with prompt follow up! It was our first condo purchase as an investment, and happy to say we had multiple offers from tenants to rent our suite. Had an amazing experience at every stage. Not to mention we paid less than one month of occupancy fees and we are registering the condo! super happy with our purchase and highly recommend Adi!
I bought an appartment in link project. It was the best experience you would ever expect from a developer. When I wanted to sell to make profit, it was easily sold with hefty profit that I never expected. Thanks Adi group for a well done project.
The ADI customer service team is absolutely wonderful. Mubeen and Elizabeth have always been available to listen and assist with any concerns or issues that may arise. In my opinion the overall quality of construction that ADI puts into their developments is second to none.I recommend ADI and their developments to everyone that i know, and will continue to do so.
Incredible customer service from a member in particular, Carol. Always takes your calls and gets back to you if theyre not answered immediately. Completely professional and proactive. Leaves you feeling confident that youre well taken care of. Thank you Carol.
I would like to start this review by saying that I am a design build - designer for those of you who are unaware of this particular position a design build is a project system used in the construction industry. It is a method to deliver a project in which the design and construction services are contracted by a single entity known as a design builder. I am well versed in both the design process of a condo/home and the construction process. This is simply to give the reviewer a small summary on my profession and validate that my opinion should not be taken lightly. The list of deficiencies for our unit in particular is astronomical from the our improper entry door installation, patio incomplete forcing a lock in for 8 months - it is illegal for any space to not have 2 points of access to the exterior of the building should a fire occur in a neighbours unit,Electrical Outlets - there is not one electrical outlet in our condo that works to its full capacity - either one of the two outlets does not provide power, Mudding, Taping and painting - based on the workmanship in our condo all areas that have been mudded and tapped are visible meaning that the curated amount of time was not allotted to drying the mudded areas resulting in a rushed and incomplete job, Caulking - there was absolutely no caulking sealing the shoe-moulding and floor leaving large gaps between both entities, filters are to be changed by the building every 3-6 months pending the amount of dirt - we have been here for 2 years no one has come to replace them, the garage door is constantly out of order, amenities are still incomplete etc. etc. etc.....I can only imagine the nightmare that others are experiencing. The workman ship is poor - the lack of attention to detail is disheartening considering this is a builder who continues to propose new projects in the surrounding areas - I urge people considering this builder to think twice
My experience has been great since purchase - fantastic response and communication from Adi.
Great customer service team - Mubeen and Elizabeth have answered every email and addressed every issue...and there has been alot!i give the customer service team a 5 out of 5. Unfortunately, i give the development about a 2 out of 5. Love the property but the delays, some of the workmanship, leave much to be desired. This could have been done better and makes the condo buying experience a bitter sweet one for sure. hopefully, the feedback helps. I have to agree with many of the bad reviews...we experienced the same thing. ADI has a lot to learn. This experience should be a good thing...not horrible.Maybe once it is all done some of us will feel better about the investment.
Great experience. The sales team was really helpful throughout the process and transparent. I had a little problem with the financing with my bank which caused delay but the ADI Team were good enough to grant me an extension and hold the unit for me. A really good purchase!
Very bad service and no clue when we will get our unit in station west. Builders looks me more kind of scam then real business house. My friend bought unit in Oakville thru other builder same time when i bought in Burlington with them. He got his unit possession 2 years back where as i am still waiting to construction start. Really they are biggest scammer in my opinion.
My employee was notified on the afternoon of the day of possession, his home wasn’t ready and wouldn’t be for at least 2 weeks. Disgusting. The worst of all developers. 4 years to build a low rise condo really?!?!. They were happy to take $62000 deposit 4 years ago and sit on it though. Very, very poor ethics.
We bought a loft from ADI. We were handed over the loft in the last week of July. It was not properly finished. Quality of material used inside the loft is sub standard and the workmanship is terrible. Almost one and a half month has gone by and they have yet to finish it from inside. We would be paying rent till the mortgage time comes. That will be another 4 months. I would not give an unfinished apartment like this to a tenant. We keep going to their two contact persons and they keep stalling it. Never a straight answer.September 23, 2018. I want to add further. The guys came to change the big glass window and left the loft in a state of mess. Did not clean after their work. Now we will go there and clean it again. We still have unfinished paint on the walls. When someone comes to my house to repair they clean after themselves and leave the place neat and clean but not with this management.
Incompetent management of the Link 2 condo. Great concept & nice building but customer service is a joke. They dont care at all about residents and are so unwilling to provide actual help its upsetting. They very seriously need a superintendent in the building who could be available past 5pm or one of the days on the weekend
I had an incredible first experience of purchasing a condo at Nautique Lakefront Residences in Burlington with the ADI Development Group. Katerina was very helpful the entire time and I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking to purchase a condo! Truly first class!!
My sister bought a condo from Adi, lets just say this builder still has a lot to learn from sales, suite deliveries, suite finishes and to their inexperienced customer care team. They need to hire people with experience. As all the real reviews speak how challenged this builder is. They disclose very little facts to their customers. They should be ashamed of themselves. Me and my family will never ever buy from them again.
Unconscionable company that doesnt pay back investors
This is my 4th time writing a review for ADI as they either tell me to take it down, or hide it from being visible to the public. This review has been hidden on my personal Page, so am writing from my fiance’s account.1 Star is 1 star too many. I have had nothing but problems since receiving my unit in July 2017. From upgrades not installed, to poor quality in my unit in general, to hands down the worst customer service i have ever received.Their lack of attention to detail, and care to their customers is unbelievable. Just over a year after having my unit, it flooded due to a flood in the electrical room on the roof. The builders replaced the impacted walls, floors, and paid for our hotel room, but not without me going directly to the CEO of the company directly, as their customer service team is unbearable, and wouldnt do anything to help us. Things like this should not be happening in a brand new building.26 months later, and the amenity building is still not to code, meaning it cannot be opened. I am also still dealing with the fact they gave me the incorrect parking spot over 2 years later. Their team promises me a resolution in 1 week, and then i dont hear from them until I reach out again 2 months later. Still no resolution as of todays date, but i will hear back friday.... I have heard that many times before. This morning they blocked a section of the visitors parking lot with a crane, without giving people notice. I had parked in visitors parking for an hour as I knew i was leaving shortly (and my parking spot downstairs is dirty and dusty as they dont clean the residents underground parking). When I talked to Mubeen (customer service rep) he was arrogant and rude and advised he cant give me a time frame of how long my car will be blocked. Thank god a construction worker moved their car 10 minutes later for me so i could squeeze pass the machine. These are just a few of the issues I have had to deal with. 1 star is higher than I would like to rate ADI. Their response to peoples bad reviews says enough about their company...Paige Apperloo
The only good thing about renting in Link2 condos is I know never to buy from this builder. Elevators have needed repair 4-5 times in less than a year. Quality is terrible, including the underground parking. I could go on and on.
I will give you my honest 100% none biased opinion about this builder and I would like to save the stress, and frustration of any new home buyers looking to purchase a home from ADI Developments.I purchased a LINK2 condo back in 2015 and finally received my keys to my home on July 27th, 2018...3 years after I purchased the home, after countless delays in 2016 and 2017. When i received my keys i had a great relief from having 3 years of anticipation to move in, however now that we have our keys we find out that the ONE elevator does not work in the building and still does not work to date (Aug 1st) it has been 5 days since we got the keys and no one can move in because the elevator doesnt work to move your furniture. After countless calls and email we had several different responses and no clear communication with the builder of when it will be up and running. On top of that we are currently paying occupational rent to the builder - so for the past 5 days we have been paying rent to the builder FOR NOTHING since we cannot move in our furniture into our new home because the ONE elevator they have in the building is still not working. Please watch out when you go to the sales office to inquire about purchasing a home, we have been lied to countless times - all they want you to do is sign that contract put your 3000 or 5000 dollars down and they get there commissions. We were told from different sales people at the same office different prices on unit upgrades as well as Condo fees. Also we were promised to be on a wait list for a second parking spot and when we went back to do our electrical upgrades we have been told there is no such thing as a wait list for a second parking spot.please make sure you speak to your lawyer and DO NOT sign anything until you have a good understanding of your contract there are alot of builder tricks For example we pay rent to the builder to the home that we own?? it makes no sense to me and on top of that they do not have a clear answer when the building will be registered so we can actually start paying our mortgage and not pay the builders occupational rent On top of that the rent is more expensive then our mortgage - so for the first 5,6 or 7 months we will be paying the builder to live in our own home that we bought in 2015.There is so much more issues i can provide - my main concern is for everyone to read this comment and not go through the frustration and stress that we have gone thought with this builders. If the builder got back to us with explanation and clear communication I would understand there is always delays in new builds, however there is 0 communication and coming from the construction industry ADI Developments have switched contractors on the new builds several times - they do no have a healthy relationship with there - contractors. So please read this and make sure you do your research so you do not get trapped like the people purchased the LINK 2 condos. If you have any questions or would like to learn more please feel free to contact me - I would be more than happy to help anyone so they do not go through the troubles we have. I will also post pictures of the building to show you how incomplete it is - for example the front building door doesnt even have a lock installed in the building anyone can just walk in at any time.Thank you for taking the time to read this.
We purchased at Link and have had a fantastic experience with Adi, from the amazing sales team to the excellent interior designer who helped us customize our new home. We cant wait to move in!
Horrible developer! They were rude and pushy the day Station West opened up, and lied about their advertised pricing. Now 3 years later, there’s still no movement on this development. Glad I moved on. A tip for first time home/ condo buyers, stay away!
Never responded to my emails.
To the ADI Customer Service Team,I wish to take this opportunity to express my satisfaction with the Amazing Customer Experience I’ve had with Team ADI.The support, level of professionalism and speed of dealing with issues to correct pre-delivery inspection findings is outstanding. The teams entering my unit are polite, respectful and considerate of the home owner’s property. Work is completed is with a high level of pride, very creative with out of the box solution, while ensuring the home owner is a satisfied customer. Care is taken to ensure the area is cleaned upon completion of each task. The employees responsible for the maintenance / cleaning of the building also deserve appreciation for their hard work in ensuring the property is pristine.I am especially grateful with the way I am treated by the Customer Care Team. My dealings with Elizabeth and Mubeen have been great. They take the time to listen and provide immediate feedback to the homeowner. Issues are prioritized to suit the needs of the homeowner. You should be proud of Team ADI.Kindest,Charlene Ridley
Im going to give them one star for now. delays, delays and more delays on stationWest. Now another year of wait and no clue if this will also be delayed again. Hearing from others on quality issues.very poor communications and they keep it to legal level of telling you what they legally have to. Thats poor. I suggested they send quarterly newsletter to keep people posted, honesty always makes people comfortable. Hope they improve their service.
Purchase of unit was seemless, customer service was great... until they have your money. Once paid, they are slow to fix deficiencies, quick to pass blame to sub contractors who then put blame back on home owners. Not to mention, THEY RAISED CONDO FEES BY EXACTLY 62% at closing. No one can sell there units because condo fees are at least 30% above standard for Burlington/Oakville comparable. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS BUILDER
Misleading sales. I regret I bought from this builder.
[Update Nov 18, 2020]finally got refunded for over-collected property, quite a delay even with pandemic lockdown we had.Heating is not completely resolved but I am thinking to let it go with proper compensation as the ultimate fix is just too messy, and we can manage other way. Hope the heating engineer learns something from this!Plus their mis-presentation of the condo maintenance fee during the initial buying process, I can only maintain 3 stars here.[Update Feb 2, 2020]finally got them fixing the flooring issues: nicely done: raised the star level by one for that.Still need some work related to heating as the temperature difference between 2 floors is still substantial, and not sure if we can get anywhere. Also, both lawyers agreed they over-collected the property tax for move-in period (before closing) but the company is still not refunding us, after about 3 months[Update March 8, 2019] did get their attention and some serious effort to address heating issue: a new return vent added and thermostat relocated, though still need one more vent at the back of kitchen. But, looks like the company is listening and trying as well. For that, I upgraded the company by 1 star and will keep monitoring and updating.Bought a loft unit of Link2 (Dundas and Sutton corner in Burlington) in Apr 2016, and moved in in July, 2018, and had encountered quite a few very unpleasant surprises. To be fair, Elizabeth has been trying her best to communicate and coordinate the service requests and complaints, and once I even got a response letter from Mr. Adi directly about maintenance fee, but some fundamental issues remain unresolved.Something good first: nice location and interesting concept/design: look forward for the amenities once they are finished: hopefully before summer (i.e., about 1 year from our move-in).Besides the issues (like delay and finish, and the pace of servicing) brought up by other buyers, I want to raise 3 other major things that really bother us.The 1st issue is the heating for loft units. Heating system was badly designed for most loft units and the 1st floor is very cold (about 10 degree lower than the thermostat, which is set 25 degree!!!). That is after they added insulation to thermostat, and after they opened a vent that was incorrectly sealed off by dry wall workers. It is primarily a design issue and all the 1st floor heating are in the front section, which is open above and we end up with no heating in the main living area on the 1st floor. And thermostat shall be placed away from the heating source as well. The 2nd thing is the the misleading sales practice: we were told maintenance fee (MF) is fixed as $399.95 for our unit but they never intended to be serious about that and the fee shot up to $634.80 (excluding locker for comparison purpose), a 58.72% increase in just 27 months. Mr. Adi explained the reason behind the increase but never bothered explaining why the it was presented as fixed to $399.95 during the sale and nor accounted the increase magnitude, even with all the factors he quoted. The 3rd thing is the property tax charged for the initial move-in period: about 1.5% of the property value, ways above the normal around 0.8% in Burlington. They promised to adjust it, but why would they started with such a high number at the 1st place???All in all, the developer is greedy: think I can use that word, and is inexperienced with design/construction as well, though they got some good concept/idea: home building and doing business is much more than that. And think we will definitely want to bring that matter to Tarion and other governing bodies and hope the existing owners can join me, and potential buyers take a note: I know Adi is still actively developing some other projects in the area.
I bought a unit from Adi 3 years ago and it has been nothing but delays. In 2018 I started asking them when the occupancy date would be and I kept getting the run around. I reached out to them in Sept. and they finally told me that I will be getting an email regarding the occupancy date. I waited and waited. I reached out to them again and they finally told me that it would be Oct. 30th. That doesn’t give me a lot of time to prepare. Since I am currently trying another place, I will be paying for 2 places at the same time. I will be paying occupancy fees till February. I have my PDI tomorrow. Hopefully the condo will be completed. I will update this review afterwardsThis while condo buying experience has not been an enjoyable one. I would be aware of buying a pre construction condo. I hope this review helps.
I just got my occupancy at Link condos and im a little shocked at some of the other comments and reviews. Our experience has been nothing but wonderful and extremely professional every step of the way. After receiving the keys to our suite, we decided to buy another unit at Valera. These comments are clearly half baked as it appears these people have never purchased a pre construction condo before. This is our 4th purchase with Adi, and weve been buying and investing in preconstruction condos across the GTA for the last 15 years. I can tell you the folks at Adi run the business with highest integrity and care about their customers. for those that have not experienced pre construction condos with other builders clearly dont know the nightmares that can transpire. Adi has delivered above our expectations at every turn, their customer service staff especially Elizabeth and Mubeen really care about ensuring the building is delivered in top quality. I would beware of these malicious and fake reviews as we are extremely happy with our investment. Adi properties always sell for more than any other building in Burlington and were very happy with how much money we made on every condo weve purchased so far! The design and finish of the building speaks for it self! Thank you to the Adi team!
Personally disgusted with the ADI Development Group, they shouldnt me in the development business OR ANY BUSINESS, everything is a mess had to move in when i got the keys and the elevators wasnt AND STILL NOT WORKING. plus i have to pay OCCUPATIONAL RENT FOR A CODO I BOUGHT!!!!! not to include all the deficiencies> DONT BUY FROM THEM THEY ARE NOTHING BUT PROFESSIONAL LIARS
Personally disgusted with the employees. I overheard multiple representatives of ADI Developments talking hatefully about another employee while I was touring the Nautique showroom about a month and a half ago. They were speaking about the employee in a slanderous, and down right rude way, not seeming to care if it was overheard by those around them. Very snobby, and un approachable sales team, despite the warm welcome from the receptionist at the front entrance. I am glad I did not give my business to a team of bullies.
Very bad experience
This company is a scandalous company who’s only interest is to lie to people and extend deadlines
Beautiful homes great and professional people
Do not buy from Adi. They have ripped us all off at the modrn condo and taking their sweet time to fix their deficiencies plus added large extra closing costs!! Do not buy from them!!!!!
The one elevator that the building has does not work apon getting my keys. Cannot move my stuff into my condo. Very disappointed. Beware when purchasing from this company.
I needed a piece of trim patched up and it was completed within days at no cost!
