The food here is outstanding and at a great value, especially the lunch specials that come with a spring roll and sweet and sour soup. The staff is very attentive and the restaurant is spotless. They get voted the best Thai restaurant in Burlington every year. Delicious!

Best Thai food in Halton! My family has been coming here for as long as I can remember and for good reason. Whether it be dining in with their incredibly friendly staff or an efficient takeout order, I always recommend Bahn Thai to friends/family.

Wonderful Thai Place with authentic thai taste. We ordered Pad-kee-Mao, and red curry. Food was delicious and well balanced in preparation.Staff was friendly and helped us with great recommendations. They have also customized food as per our request.They have plenty of space inside and tables are big enough to maintain social distancing. They accept all kind of credit cards.

This is the best Thai food this side of Toronto. I have never eaten at a Thai restaurant east of Toronto, but I would bet money that this is the best Thai in Ontario. HIGHLY recommend the “Green Vegetables” - I know it sounds boring but the sauce it comes with is the best thing I’ve ever put in my mouth.

Pandemic or not, Bahn Thai consistently delivers incredibly delicious, authentic Thai food. Their golden squid, eggplant delight, spicy shrimp, and pad Thai are always so flavourful, but not overpowering. And the staff are so gracious and friendly.

We found this restaurant using google and checking out their reviews which were really good btw. Upon walking in ...the restaurant really gave me an authentic Thai vibe down to the outfits the waitress’ were wearing. The food was sooooo flavourful and amazing. Restaurant is clean. Service was outstanding. I would recommend to anyone looking for some super mouth watering food !

Absolutely amazing, delicious, authentic, incredible service. My husband and I went today as we had a craving for thai curry. Nina was our server and she was so lovely. We cant wait to come back. Thank you so much and we cannot wait to come back. We both got the thai green curry, my husband got thai spicy and loved it. Mine was less spicy and it was the perfect amount of spice!

Back again at Bahn Thai. This time I got eggplant delight. My friend loves the spicy shrimp. I get the lunch special it comes with a soup and roll. Its so tasty the sweet and sour soup its my favourite dish here. The restaurant has Buddhist artworks and statues they are so cool. The staff are wonderfully kind and sweet.

Amazing ambience, very good food. Good flavours. Came here with a big group of my friends. We enjoyed a lot. Great service and very patient with customers. Would definitely visit again when I am around.

Our favourite Thai place. What we missed most when we spent 6 months outside of Burlington. Very friendly staff, exceptional food/quality. Not greasy, fresh, and many meals can be prepared GF. Our favourites are hot and sour soup, fresh rolls, chicken pad Thai, basil beef, green curry chicken, and Thai spring rolls. You wont be disappointed!

This restaurant offers an authentic Thai cuisine experience with quick and friendly service. Although the food was tasty, the portions will leave you wanting for more and for the price, it was a little lacking. That being said, the food was delicious and will certainly satisfy your appetite for good Thai food this site of the GTA. Worth a try.

Flavors were good but over priced for the amount of protein provided..$17 red curry chicken.. mostly bamboo shoots, watery thin sauce and less then half a chicken breast!

I cant believe all these 5 star reviews after the experience I had on a Sunday dining inside. Maybe they are fake reviews or people in this neighborhood do not know good Thai food. Overall 1 star for not so great food and terribly rude service.1. Their Coconut Chicken soup was lacking vegetables. It only comes with the coconut lemony broth and some chicken pieces and literally one piece of ginger and a couple pieces of lemongrass (is lemongrass even edible?) What kind of soup is this: prison soup? Thai Coconut over on Fairview St. also in Burlington serves a proper coconut chicken soup, with vegetables along with the broth and chicken. It comes with thinly sliced onion, peppers, bean sprouts and 3 types different kinds of mushrooms. Now that is a proper and delicious soup!!2. Their Eggplant Delight is more like an Onion Delight. I love eggplant so I was excited for this. I got way too many onions thickly sliced, instead of so many eggplant pieces and only three pepper pieces, two green and one red. Is this a properly made stir fry, I do not think so!! I left all that unnecessary onion on the plate.3. This place is obviously cheap on including a proper amount of ingredients in their dishes.4. Lastly, I also ordered the BBQ Chicken with the stir fry and it was not good at all. It was not BBQed or Grilled, just cooked and bland in flavor. That was the biggest disappointment of all when it came to the food. I did not eat it, only had the one piece and left it as I did not like it.5. The customer service: I told the owner/waiter who was serving us that I do not like the BBQ Chicken after trying it and she rudely did not take the plate from me saying just leave it on the table expressing a fit of anger with her hands flying all over our food and table. How rude is that?! My friends jaws dropped open. After that, we were ignored until she came to the table with our bill. I was thirsty and left thirsty, we did not get asked if we maybe wanted anything else, like perhaps some water. This is the most ridiculous part: she charged me for the BBQ Chicken that I did not eat. I did not pay for it but nice try.I know the restaurant business is going through a hard time right now but cutting back on main ingredients in your dishes that are suppose to be authentic and being rude to your clients that made it a point to come into your restaurant in the midst of a pandemic is not going to help your business.

Decided to try this place based on the good ratings. Must say we were extremely disappointed. The food is mediocre at best. Zero flavor, extremely bland. We love thai food and have eaten at excellent restaurants throughout the GTA. The prices are also high here and definitely not close to the value given the mediocre quality. The service was great and the owners were lovely, which is why we gave it 3 stars.

Was looking for Thai food since Ive just moved to Burlington and found this gem. Their Thai ice tea wasnt too sweet and it was so yummy. Had Tom Kha chicken as a starter and we inhaled it in no time 👍🏽We ordered Thai Basil Chicken and Pad See Ew Chicken and it just reminded me of my time in Thailand and definitely would recommend this place as it definitely felt super authentic.Last but not least, how can you not order a dessert, right? We went with the basic Mango sticky rice, but Ive gotta say that this is by far the best mango sticky rice Ive had ever!Would definitely recommend this place and will definitely come back again.

Ginger Chicken lunch special ftw

The food is so incredible and the couple that owns are super lovely. First time a meal literally transported me back to the country its made in. Most authentic Thai food I have had since Thailand.

It’s been awhile since we ordered take out due to the pandemic. So very happy we did! Honestly I feel the food is better...it was always very good but it seems they have upped the ingredient quality. Bravo! Hot and Sour soup has a real spice to it. The mango salad was so fresh, large and came with everything on the side. Nicely presented in the take out container. Red curry beef and Ginger chicken were perfectly seasoned and included loads of quality veggies which was a nice bonus. And the actual containers are very good so it doesn’t spill in your vehicle.

Food was spectacular. The Golden squid (appetizer) tasted delicious, alongside the Pad Thai (vegetable). The food came without any hesitation, and very nice staff. Definitely worth it.

The ones I think are fussy and not at all adventurous I wouldn’t invite.They’ve been around at least since 1995, says something.Update October 2021Food is till great. Try so many other dishes, never disappointed.Service is improved greatly. Still not your 5 star service.But this is a place we frequently dine in and take out.

We had one in our party of 7 that developed a serious gluten allergy due to a surgery 2-3 years ago. If you ask for gluten-free options, they are VERY accommodating and can prepare a majority of their dishes gluten-free. Just ask! We had great food and excellent service.

$16 - Very very light on the meat (3 small pieces only) and vegetables (4 sprigs of broccoli) in Green Curry Chicken lunch. Way too heavy on the Bamboo. Wasnt happy or full!

I’ve had dinner here twice, and each time has been wonderful. The food, ambiance, and wait staff are all wonderful. A little bit pricey, but appropriate for quality & quantity of food in my opinion. I got the green curry and mango sticky rice both visits. I spent 3 months in northern Thailand and the curry reminds me of having green curry in the mountains of Pai.

Went here for lunch with a work colleague. It wasnt very busy as went after 1pm. Cute little place the staff was very friendly. The food came quick and was flavorful and delicious. The portion sizes arent that big for the price but not sure if the portion sizing changes during dinner or if its the same. Either way I would definitely visit this place again.

Great atmosphere and friendly service from staff who are polite and dressed in traditional Thai outfits. Environment is very easy to enjoy conversations with friends. The food is flavourful but you will need to ask for more spice if you really like it spicy.

Honestly the best Thai food in Burlington and probably that I’ve ever had. It’s a bit pricier, but it’s worth every penny. Food is authentic, ingredients are fresh and their staff are always very friendly. Service is super quick for pick-up and dine-in with the wait being usually under 10 minutes.

First visit, so far so good. Looking forward to trying more items on the menu. Big highlight is they make their Pad Thai properly, with tamarind, unlike most places in Canada that use tomato sauce. Great service too.

OMG. My family was out in Burlington yesterday, and decided to try something different. We heard about this authentic Thai restaurant called Banh Thai, and decided to give it a shot. My wife is always looking for great authentic dishes, and she has been to Thailand. The outside of the restaurant was non-descript, but from the time you enter, you are greeted with traditional Thailand art, and pictures. The hostess was in traditional Thai clothing, and very warm and welcoming. You have to wear a mask for seating, but once seated you are able to remove them. Water was brought to us right away, with the menus and our drink order was taken. She verified that it was our first time there, and insisted that she order for us. We allowed her to, and we’re not disappointed!We had the Mango Thai salad, to start with an order of calamari with a sweet peanut sauce. Absolutely delicious. I had my first Singha, which is a Thai beer. She followed with a medium spiced Thai curry chicken, a ginger beef dish and rice. Everything tasted absolutely incredible. I am not a food critic, but I know what I like. Went in on a whim for take-out. Staff were super friendly and quick. We ordered and received our food in just 5 minutes. The Pad Thai was excellent, better than expected and huge portions. Only complaint would be it was not spicy, although if we asked Im sure they could have made it hotter. I will go back for sure. Id like to eat in because the great staff and the authentic look of the restaurant. Not sure how popular this place is but it sure feels like a hidden gem.

Great Thai place! My server seemed very cheerful, open and friendly- adding to the quality of the service. She was genuinely nice. I liked the decor- it gave off a home like vibe. Had the curry and spring rolls on the side. Loved every bite of the meal. Small and simple menu selection made ordering very easy.
