Pakhir chor...very nice place.. picnic spot..

There is an oxbow lake here and this is a nice place to visit. This place is also having evergreen garden and village roads, which are good for nature lovers. My father-in-laws house is at Chupi that is about 5 km inside from Purbasthali railway station. The oxbow lake created by the river Ganges is a walkable distance from Chupi. I love this place and I visit the lake at least once in my every visit to Chupi, Purbasthali. There is also Kasthoshali park beside the lake. Goverment of Bengal created some provision for night stay at this place. This is nice place to spend a day. A must visit place for the bird lovers. Do not forget to visit in the winter and take a boat ride in the lake.
