The old zoo has now been reinvented as the Buenos Aires eco-park hosting only carefully selected species native to Argentina, mostly for conservative and educative programs, and also improving the animals life conditions exponentially. The ticket is completely for free, and youll exit this place with a ton of new interesting facts and a deep understanding of Argentinas ecosystems. I cant wait to see until its finished and in full potential!π¦π¦π¦
Keep surprising me how this area is evolving into a beautiful Ecopark. Please keep up the good work.
Such a beautiful place in the city where you can relax and enjoy the day and admire the flora and fauna from the region
I thought this was a pretty good zoo. The animals seemed happy and I liked that some of the animals were roaming around (non dangerous stuff like sucks and stuff.) They a lot of different animals from around the world, so if you want to bring your kids somewhere to look at animals, this would be a pretty good place to do it.
They need to hurry up and reopen this place it looks awesome. Itβs like an antique zoo! And it has this awesome duck with these crazy pimples on its face. I wonder how much admission will be when it finally opens? It says itβs been under construction since 2016 which is a really long time. Love Buenos Aires!
There are still a few animals left in this former zoo. Two old camels and others. Great place to take a stroll.
Really nice π
Great place to visit in the middle of the city. And Free! Good variety of animals and a carousel for kids. Nice cafes too.
Its great what theyve done/are trying to do with the old zoo, but most parts are closed off because there are animals they havent managed to transfer out of there. There are lots of smaller animals around to see, and thats fun for the kids.
Ok
Beautiful place to walk through for free, but the zoo part is not open. Some wild animals (birds, Mara) and if lucky can peek through a hole to see giraffes and ostrich but thatβs it... and a ton of walking for just that! Says it will be open for the zoo part (currently under construction) in 2023...
Its not finished yet....but what is done is ok
The Buenos Aires Eco Park is a great place to sight see and relax. It is the former BA zoo. while a few zoo animals are left in cages the birds were all let free but have not left the park. Be sure to bring your camera to photograph lots of unusual birds. The idea of this eco park is to let all of the natural flora and fauna revert to its natural state. Plenty of ponds and lagoons. Subway station is at the entrance of the park.
Opens 11 to 17 hs. (Not 10am). Great green open space with some small animals on the run. Many old buildings with great potential for restaurants / cofee. Nice walks.
A disgrace to see animals in a cage. Happy to see the free animals but a condor or an elephant not good. Plus it is half closed.
Half zoo, half park. Beautiful but a lot of things were under construction
Walking space, with some animals still around. We saw flamencos and camellos, but also agoutis and pavos reales roaming free. Lots of the park was closed (I think it will reopen eventually though with maybe water or more trails).
Peaceful and central, with interesting birds and animals, all free.
The view is good, but ive never ecounter any frog in here..
Not much to see. Only a small area open to the public. The rest is being worked on. Will be nice when it opens.
Beautiful environment in the middle of the city. Great presentation on nature.
Nice peaceful park with some protected animals.
A nature outlet in the middle of the city with native flora and fauna
This is very good, but it needs to be finished, I feel that the day it is finished, it will be something great to visit.
A nice place where to walk and enjoy the scenery. They have some small animals that are worth the visit.
Beautiful green space in the middle of the city
Lovely Place!!! Full of Pesce!!! Clean and Nice!!!
Shady , interesting lots of animals etc
You can see animals walking around!
Even though most of the stand were in maintenance we had a really good time
The place is fine, is not as good as botanic park but the thing is that eco park keeps wild animals closed
Amazing!
Wonderful

They should just list the park as closed. Even when hours are listed staff doesnt care and its 90% closed

Nice tour. There is not much to see honestly. My 5 year old daughter liked it because she saw peacocks, flamingos, 2 camels, 2 monkeys and several Patagonian hares. There is a sector that imitates an aquarium: 3 species of robots (dolphin, seal and turtle) that the children could give them commands with a button panel. There are several closed areas. The two-story carousel is very nice. $ 150 return.
Very pretty place! Free, until 4:45 p.m. they let them enter the Eco Park, they take your temperature, the loose peacocks, a wonder, not that I did not like it was that they touched them, and the animals should not be touched, at one point they locked up in a round to one and was desperate to want to get out and couldnt. Some mothers let their small children run to touch the back, it is also an issue if the animal feels threatened and attacks it, I know that children are children, but half a pile. With an hour and a half they are gem! The place looks very clean.
It is a nice park type reserve that was formerly a zoo.It has a lot of green area and still with some animals to see.Admission is free and it has bathrooms inside, a carousel, a cafeteria and some interactive sea lion robots for children to use if they like. And there are also some sculptures by famous sculptors from Argentina.
A beautiful place !! very small of open space !!! many closed parts !!! I expected more !!! But a good place to walk for a while
Ecopark in which to this date only 50% of the facilities can be seen as they are undergoing renovation. The entrance for now is free and has an adoration of up to 500 people, temperature is taken when entering and the chinstrap must be used, the walk is one-way entering through Santa Fe and leaving through Av del Libertador. There are some loose animals but I still find that there are animals locked up that were supposed to modify it. What is accessible is well cared for and I hope it can be completed soon so that it is at its best. I recommend it
Hermoso lugar Para disfrutar un lindo paseo
Nice place to walk. The keepers are very attentive to the care of the last animals that are there due to age and it is dangerous if they are moved.
I loved the renovation of the place, inside there is to eat or you can also take away, since it is like a park. Although there are animals inside, that is why they still take care of them and they explain that most of them cannot be moved and it is still a rehabilitation and animal rescue center. Handsome
Although it is still undergoing renovations and some animals need to be released, it is a beautiful place to go for a walk with children. Too bad that it closes very early (5pm) at this time of year it could quietly be until 6pm. Above they do not warn that they are closing as to be facing the closure of the walk. Clean bathrooms, food inside at normal price.
Nice place to walk and enjoy with the family. We had a nice sunny day. Diversity of animals to know.
Very nice place to go for a walk with the family or just go for a walk. There are some animals. Very nice place to have something to eat outdoors. Rich and with good prices. When it is open the whole safe place will improve. recommendable
Lindo para caminar respirar aire fresco. Aunque le falta un poco de mantenimiento.
Fun family outing, we went early, when we were leaving we saw more people. We will be back
Entertaining, open air, some areas are missing but it is good to spend time with the family and learn about nature. Recommended
Nice free proposal, they are still missing, they are still in remodeling. They should move and isolate various animals from the public, since although there are guards, people do not respect the rules. I hope I can come back soon and enjoy more space.
Good place to go with children for a walk, it is quite abandoned, with few attractions, probably because it is free. There are places to eat and some other mechanical attraction for children. For those of us who knew that place in all its splendor, now it is a quick walk with 4 or 5 farm and wild animals
