Asked for the lamb curry, a chicken curry and a portion of rice (or two) The portions seem small but were more than enough for us. The flavours were good but not mind-blowing. The price was okay (around U$4 each curry).The service felt awkward and a bit rude.We did not ask for any drinks as we arent used to drinking during meals, but the waiter and later the owner came to ask us repeatedly if we were sure we didnt want anything to drink. They asked us four times! This got a bit ridiculous... When they brought the bill we talked for a bit, as we were deciding on how to split the bill, when the owner came to ask us if we were ready to pay. Only 3 minutes had passed! It felt like they were kicking us out but there was still one hour left until closing time...

I picked up food. Everything was delicious, we had lamb, shrimp and a vegan dish. The restaurant was pretty full, no outdoor seating.

One of the only shops to provide authentic Indian food. Since they make food as per local taste, do not expect it to be as spicy as India.

It used to be a very good full of flavour Indian Restaurant before the quarantine. But during the quarantine we ordered 3 times for delivery. Its just not the same of anything. The food is testless even to be called a normal food no flavour not Indian or any kind. I had been in many other Indian restaurants in different countries this is by far the worst!!

Soooo delicious!! So excited to have indian food again after two weeks in Argentina. We really started to miss sauce on our food and spice/heat and had just a general craving for Indian. This place did not disappoint! Got the chicken tika masala, the lamb vindaloo and garlic naan. Everything was wonderful! So much flavor! Only suggestion is if you like spicy, ask for more spice. But other than that - in love!! The service here was also amazing. Best weve had in Argentina! The atmosphere was lovely, candles and cozy vibes. It was a perfect, filling meal after a long day of walking around and exploring the city. Servings were large too - have another meal from what we ordered! Highly recommend. Were considering coming back in the next couple weeks during our travels we loved it so much!!

Great service. Good food. A tad pricey

Poor experience. I asked for my curry to be “very spicy” and they brought me what could only be described as sweet curry. Amusingly, despite that, it took them roughly 1.5 hours to bring us our food after ordering. When they took away plates for the appetizer, the waitress moved my utensils directly on the table (instead of taking them and bringing new utensils with the main dish or at least not putting them directly on the table). Finally, despite prominently displaying an American Express sticker on the door they refused to allow payment using an Amex card.Definitely go somewhere else.

I’m surprised this has such high ratings, it’s very average, actually below average, I’d expect airline food may be better, very little taste and zero depth as a curry should have, service was slow but polite.Hay and just FYI I know my Indian food.

Good, honest food. As a fan of Indian restaurants, I would say the spices fall into the heavy side. Old furniture, legit indian waiters and cook. Service is very slow, kind of confused. A tad pricey, but overall good experience

Had a very nice dinner at Mumbai on 2/8/2018. Shared meal with two friends, one of whom is a no animal, no dairy, no egg vegan. Waiter suggested multiple options for vegan that could be shared. Service was very good. Food was tasty but modified for Argentina (no spice, no heat). They did provide a small bowl of a condiment that one could add a little heat if you wanted to. One of my colleagues ordered a beer and requested that it be colder than they normally serve it. They were glad to accommodate. In a city of 10+ million, one would expect more Indian food restaurants. So even ones that have moderately authentic food and very good service are appreciated.

We love Mumbai. The only thing I could say about them is that food takes a long time. Be prepared for that. But, all is super tasty and delicious.

I would avoid this place at all cost. Was in the area with the family check their menu which was on offer. Asked if I can do take away. The guys says we wont give you desert and drink but would still charge for it. I said I can have my drink here while you prepare our food. He said thats our rules we dont do that. So they were happy to charge us full amount but not give us what comes with it. We said fine we would sit in but first we would order two meal as we wanted to taste it as kids are fussy about the taste. He says no you have to order all in one go. He had different price on offer board and on enquiring he said that just to lure customers in. Than he started talking abuse and what he thought of us . Never meet such a rude restaurant owner. Avoid at all cost. NO WONDER HIS RESTAURANT WAS MORE THAN HALF EMPTY ON SATURDAY NIGHT.

The food is all right , in comparison. But the most unprofessional and cheat behaviour was up for display when I ordered in. For an ordered that would cost 220 pesos when ordered for “free home delivery “ costed me 330 pesos as I wanted to pick it up myself as I was near the place. When I highlighted this discrepancy, the answer form the owner of that this place was that they have special discount for the home delivery. Been here once but the service was great, really friendly waitress that guided us through the menu. I ordered the daily promo which had 3 dumplings, rice and Naan bread, Curry of your choice (lamb, fish or pig) and some dessert.The food was great, curry was nicely seasoned. I didnt care much about the dessert, maybe next time Ill order out of the daily promo.

Being Indian vegetarian in Buenos Aires, this is our by far the best option to have outside food. There are couple of more Indian restaurants but Mumbai is excellent in terms of quantity, quality and taste. Its quite cosy and you wont get nice ambience feeling but food quality and taste will be great, rest assured.

I had 3 years i havent eaten an incredible Hindu food. MUMBAI is the perfect place for that. Today, monday, the place was almost empty. We made a reservation but was not needed. Attention was on point. Food was awesome. We ordered the menu for 2 and extra prawns (cooked on a oven) and extra rice. We were 3. We had to take food home. Desserts were incredibly crazy goo. I think I found my new favorite place! Highly recommended it.

Nice place to try indian food. I liked it better than other indian restaurants. They give 20% discount on bill amount if you can pay in cash, so remember to carry cash. Also, the people serving food are very polite and friendly. They music indian music, which is nice to hear. The staff can speak english, hindi and spanish.

Excellent food! Best in Buenos Aires from other 3 Indian restaurants I’ve been in! Don’t expect a very fancy environment by which service and the food makes up for it! We made a reservation with restorando which paid in cash was 30% off! Amazing deal! We ordered 1 bottle of white wine, 2 tikka masalas, 1 nan and alzafran rice which was plenty for 2 people and it costs us ARS $770 with the discount! I would definitely go back!

Mumbai is open for business. I ate here last night. Restaurant was slightly cooled (just enough to eat spicy food comfortably). The ambiance was warm and good for dates, there were a lot of couples here early in the evening, including us. We ordered the multi-course option. This was some of the better Indian food Ive ever eaten.We were brought a sesame naan (not papdum) with the usual triad of sauces, all very good and different than what Im used to. We were brought out a special extra spicy fourth because we said we liked heat. Appetizer plate had a little of everything on it. It was nice to be able to try them all.The only thing I would negatively criticize on the appetizer plate would be the spicy fried chicken. It was tough. I inelegantly propelled a piece of it across my table trying to cut it!Main dishes, lamb vindaloo and tikka masala, were original, fresh and delicious. There was not the slightest hint of gaminess in the lamb. The naan is light, thin, and had a wonderful char on it. All the naan Ive had in the US were of a thicker variety. Mumbais was delicious and I think I prefer it.Our biryani rice was perfectly cooked with firm and separated rice grains, and had good flavor. We had small portions of four desserts, a firm sugar drenched custard, mango ice cream, a shredded apple concoction, and a firm gulab jamon. All were very good.Definitely will be back here again before we leave the neighborhood.

We have visited Mumbai before and we were curious for a taste of Indian food in BA! We stopped in and ordered a variety of items, all of which were decent. The veggie pakoras were very good, but the main dishes were curiously reminiscent of Sri Lankan curries more than the typical Indian food. The chicken was a little disappointing so nice it was very chewy. Still OK, and you do get plenty of food even though its pretty pricey compared to other places. We could have easily shared one main dish but we wanted to try everything. Would recommend if you are looking for some curry flavor and have money to burn.

Fui para mi cumpleaños. Pedimos entrada para degustar. Pollo frito una delicia. Curri de pollo y otro de cordero, se pide el arroz y se va poniendo los curris para probar, los sabores exquisitos. Y me trajeron un postre de manzana con vela para que sople. Muy agradable todo. Tiene cerveza en jarra y gaseosa.

We went Saturday night, the restaurant was exploding with people. I reckon it was what made it take them both to take the order and to bring us the food. The letter is too long. The dishes are fine, they are not crazy. I am a huge fan of Indian food and I dont kill myself. The cheese plate the queso was super dry. One of the dishes even came cold.
