18 km from Kabirdham in Kabirdham district of Chhattisgarh. 125 km away and from Raipur. There is a thousand year old temple in Chauragaon. this temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva. The temple is artificially situated amidst mountain ranges, it was built in the period from about 7th to 11th century. Here the temple has a glimpse of Khajuraho temple, hence this temple is also called Khajuraho of Chhattisgarh.Manufacturing periodAround the temple of Bhoramdev is the Maikal range, in the middle of which the temple is situated in the green valley. There is also a beautiful pond in front of the temple. The structure of the temple is similar to the temples of Khajuraho and Konark, due to which people call this temple as Khajuraho of Chhattisgarh. This temple is a historical temple. This temple was built by Nagavanshi King Devaraya in the 11th century. It is said that the deity of the Gond kings was Bhoramdev, which is a name of Shiva, due to which the name of this temple was Bhoramdev.
