The idea of this place is great, as you can rent a room with different settings/themes (cowboy, maya...) for your group. However one hour costs 7000ft, which you can revalue by buying drinks in the same amount. However the place is quite expensive so the 7000ft credit does not last long. You have your private space and it is ideal for a group, as you have cushions on the floor. Alcohol is nice but you also have five pages of tea sorts which can be drank cold or worm. The reason i give this place only three stars is that the staff isnt really friendly(not to say very unfriendly), that it is quite expensive and lastly that you cant open any windows.
The place has a nice atmosphere and its very affordable indeed. The staff is friendly and we had a great time here. The menu is extensive, you can order just about any tea you can think of while smoking one of the many flavours of shisha they offer.
These special teas are the best, the staff is kind and the mood is satisfying!
We bought tea here to take away and fill little containers for a wedding. The people were really helpful to help us find exactly what we wanted, they moved every stone so we could pick just the right one for us. The place itself is a bit eerie for me, musky smell in the basement and not many clients when we were there. Perhaps we went off hours. See for yourself :-)
Identity crisis! We popped in here out of curiosity.. the decor is all over the place, somewhere between native American, old west, and voodoo doll house. Burn marks in the carpet and furniture, presumably from hookah coals. The couches are old and fit in with the theme of not matching anything. The two rooms upstairs were just as bizarre. The staff was nice and the cocktails were decent. The place seems like they’re targeting a very specific, albeit strange demographic. If not for anything else you may want to check it out just to see how odd it is.
Interesting cocktail list, not basic one. Same goes with the decoration. We had excelent drinks.
I give a note of 2 because the atmosphere of the place is quite well. The setting is done with good taste and makes you feel like in an Indiana Jones movie. However, we took the all-you-can-drink formula and the drinks were awful. I think I never drink such a bad mojito in my life. Moreover, the service was not really effective (almost 15 minutes to bring 3 draft beers).
Great place to drink a tea in Budapest. Awesome interior, special rooms, honey and the many-many types of tea made our night perfect. In this place everything looks fantastic, even the entrance. If you are in Budapest, come to this place and just enjoy it. (You should wait about 20 minutes to your tea, thats normal, because they have to make it, and its not like a filtered tea.)
What a place. Certainly a cave given below lighting. Very psychedelic atmosphere. You would not want to leave quickly and without having a Sheesha session.
Would not recommend it at all. the cocktails are small and pricey, the waterpipe is one of the cheapest i have ever seen, it also tastes like nothing. we didnt even taste the teas because of the whole experience
Really like the idea that you can have a private room, it is very cozy and has a great variety.
I absolutely loved the experience...the place is so cosy and well decorated with over 150 types of teas. We tried the dragons kiss from the white tea selection and absolutely loved it. The tea comes in a beautiful little teapot and the teapot is plenty for 2 people (almost 1.5 cups each). The place is open till late and the staff is so friendly. Its is highly recommended by me!
The tea is great (Duh!), the staff charming, the ambience fantastic. Not expensive. Moderately inappropriate behaviour was well tolerated. More than suitable for dating (maybe from the second time on, before that it might be a bit too cozy, especially the separes). All in all, recommended. Big time.
Good place to spend evening in
The teas are good service is good. The interior is good as well, prices are average.
The place has a smell that makes people have a stomach-ache. The teas are not as good and the prices are ridiclulously high. It is also not very clean...
Native American ambient. Nice place for date or hang out with your friends for a tea.
⚠️ WARNING ⚠️This bar is trying to rip off tourists. We ordered six cocktails and they tried to add three more drinks on the bill. When we tried to explain them that we didnt order this, they insisted in the fact that it was a supplement in our cocktails, written on the menu. We checked and it wasnt written. Finally, we managed to pay the real price, after some bargain. Moreover, they only accept cash.By the way, the cocktails arent extraordinary.Advice : dont go there, its a TRAP !
Nice and experienced staff, wonderful place. Best tea collection ever. Must to go there!
Very cozy place for a date or just meeting friends. They have a wide range of tasty tees. You should check the private rooms too! I dont recommend to eat here (maybe Im too hungry but the quantity is not much).
Its a nice place, but it was very crowded and dark. Its a bit overpriced place for my taste, but the teas were good and tasty. The shop assistants were kind and helpful, but because of the crowd they were bit messed up.
Amazing private spaces! Great public spaces too!! Tea prices are OK. Coffee is very good. Shisha is an incredible value. 6000 FT for a hookah. Worth every FT!!
Nice atmosphere, good tea, tasty sisha. Only problem is waiting time. Such big place deserve more staff. Weve been waiting about one hour to get what we want.
Loved those private spaces full of folklore art, decoration and ambient, we took one of them for just two of us and it was at a very good price. Not to mention they have polite service that respects your privacy, they only appear when you ring them. They had more than 100 different tea types, some very exotic and lots of cocktails and food and even shisha, all delivered to this awesome little room where we were, separated with a curtain. Definitely recommended for chilling and chatting with friends.
Service was shocking. We ordered, waited half an hour, questioned the order, waited another half hour and left. The vibe and decor is amazing, the tea selection is huge, its just a shame they didnt provide a service. No tea was tasted this day
The best tea house in the city. Gives off a spiritual vibe. Its cozy. Hard to find a decent parking spot, but easy to get to with public transport.
Cocktails with no alcohol, they are trying to take a lot of money from you. Be careful, the traditional hungarian shot is the more expensive shot from all!
Nice pub with friendly staff. Not crowded as other places
The tea was good and they have so many options to give a try. I will definitely go there again and taste one or two more of the teas.
Real different chilled atmosphere, bit hippy ish in a good way. Nice food and cocktails very pleasantly surprised by the bill. Would recommend
Staff were nice and the vibe is cool but we waited so long for everything we ended up cancelling half our order and leaving
You can rent cosy private rooms here by the hour if you know what i mean. Hookah area upstairs, great cocktails, shots, you name it theyll make it for you. Its the No.1 go-to place if you,re with a lady ☺️
Lovely staff... Weird place... Wasnt what we were looking for but could be cool for some
Has the atmosphere of a place you feel enchanted to return over and over again.Highly recommended. Cheers!!;)
Dont go here for a hookah - It is just awful. Bad quality of coal and tobacco. Brought cold.Coctails - we couldnt find any alcohol in two different ones.No terminal, suddenly.Only one + is the interior.
Cool place with a big variety of teas. The staff should pay more attention to the customers: yelling owner, forgotten ordered food, etc. And its pricy as well. Not sure Ill ever return because of these unpleasant things.
Very warm, cosy and quirky ambience. Service extremely friendly and drinks crisp and refreshing. Good menu was the only down point, as not a fan of panini‘ sans pizzas. But worth a visit to sample some great assortment of tea and drinks.
A laid back tea house with friendly service, comfy seats and extensive tea menu. Also lots of good shisha flavours. Pop
With the private rooms, shisha and unique atmosphere, a great secret spot in the city.Only had amazing dates here ;)
Slow service, with weak shisha/nargila, and the wide selection of tea flavors is hit or miss. Couches, private rooms and low lighting create a cozy, chill, & intimate atmosphere for a romantic rendezvous.Servers seem to not care and taking it easy with many smoke breaks and aloof attitude.I would visit again because its near my place and I love the atmosphere.
Nice Tea and Shisha. Quirky little place. Waitress was very rude
Only cash and if you pay with Euro your refund is way too less. I just noticed after I was gone that they gave me way too less
Fair prices. Delicious tea.The shisha was a bit soar to the throat.
Lovely place. Ideal for chilling out. More than 100 tea specialities to choose from. Amazing decoration.
Quite creepy. Only accept cash. Too sweet cocktails.
Huge selection of unique teas and themed private rooms. The rooms are pricey but you can consume the price. Id recommend it for bigger groups. The service was slow.
Very nice place, its much more a teahouse than a bar or lounge, but you can chill here. Recommended. I had a great date here, so definitely recommended for that reason. :-)
A little dark, which can bring a nice atmosphere. The number of teas they have will overwhelm you! Also theres shisha if thats what youre into. Bring cash though.
A bit weird place, but the tea is very good and inexpensive
When you enter this place you are not on this planet anymore. Real special experience! There are private rooms that you can rent for an hourly rate.
Very nice place with calm music. Prices are good.
This place is amazing! The biggest variety of tea species can be found here and the place itself is made and thematically decorated, the service is excellent!
I like this tea house. It is nice one
An original kind of decoration and atmosphere. A large choice of tea and some classic cocktails. You dont have to be hurry.
Awful service, looks like they try to provide alcohol only. A lot of menu was missing, turtleback dessert was not familiar to them. Even the tea they could not bring which supposed to be their speciality, they did serve alcohol to people that arrived later than we did.. A shame, the place looks good, but they surely arent organized and did not provide tea that evening.
Great drinks great location but the service wasnt the best
It’s like a Vancouver island tiki bar...but they don’t have wifi. Get with it. 4 stars.
Strange place, several small rooms off a corridor. Reminded me of a brothel I once visited.
Cocktails are only ice and very expensive, the shisha looks like its from a cereal pack, also very unhygienic, would never come here again
Id say look for another tea house that is more authentic and which is practically open unlike this
A good place but the service could be better. We had to wait 50 minutes for the waiter after our first order was placed.
The design is great, all the rest is bad. The employees has virtually no knowledge of what they are selling. Our waiter seemed to be high on something.
Its a quite small and crowded place with a bit slow service. You can have shisa and teas for a reasonable price, however seating is not comfortable.
Service is extra slow and rude. You CANNOT pay by card. And also if you dont have change just bigger money you got notices from the waiter. The teas have imaginery names, difficult to choose. Too expensive, and you have no great experience at all with the tea. The place itself has a feeling, however without a good service it is just wall and decoration.
The best tea house with American Apache style
Pros: design, selection of teascons: no card, slow service
Ripping off tourists, rude staff.
3 level teahouse with sisha and private rooms. Good for long talks
Different style with bunch of tasty tea types.
150+ teas. Red Indian themed cafeGreat service
A tourist trap. A teahouse for people who are not that into teas. We were shown to a dirty table, which wasnt clean up during our whole visit.
Bad service, bad cocktails - waited for aprox. 20 minutes to get tea and 3 cocktails (bar wasnt full). Cocktails were really bad - really wattery. Mojito requires no expert to make. Not a good experience. Not recommended.
Excelent tea house with a great tea selection and shisha.
An interesting new idea..
Great atmosphere. Service and drinks are super.
Everything is perfect!!!!!! The service is fantastic
Only design made me make 1 star , service, shiha and tea its just unbelievable disgusting
Querky tiki bar
Looks good, but I heard quite bad things about the place from former staff eg. how they never cleaned shishas.
Awesome place, great cocktails and teas.
It was a lovely place to have a lovely tea
Bluberry muffin tea and lava cakes!!
Beautiful place!
My favorite place in the city centre.
Relaxing for tea but a little dark for my taste
Good looking but with the worst service.First, we did not get what we ordered, then the hot tea was poured on my crotch while serving the tea,and after this, we did not paid what we ordered.
The service is horrible here... The tea was fine though.
Service is awful, but the teas and the place are individual and very nice
One of the best tea house in Budapest!
Cool different place
Beautiful location, very cozy!
Slow service, waiter calling buttons not working, toilet doors cant be locked and no soap by the sink. The only reason Im not giving a one-star review is that the teas were nice.
Peaceful and this place is good for relaxing.
