Nice coffee and seating. They have a wide variety of beans from different roasters which you can buy as well. I ordered the flat white and cheesecake which was good.

Good chain for a good coffee. Maybe a bit pricey but its in the touristy centre of Budapest, so what do you expect. Still the flat white is below 1000ft. Plenty of seating indoors and outdoors.

High quality specialty coffee, have second floor seating so quite roomy. Recommend Ethiopia, washed, on V60. Browny is exceptional, even forgot to take photo before devouring it in seconds.

Any vegans should try this place. There are actually two shops located not far from each other, both providing deliciously made coffee and tea related beverages. This place has its own spirit, which is uncommon and almost cultural. Highly recommend iced Chai tea latte with lemon grass. It tastes similar to a type of Chinese bubble tea.

Coffee was good but expensive, I took a take away because I came with a pastry I bought outside and they didnt allow me to sit (also not outside), and the cup was only half full

Awesome place to hang out with friends or relax after exploring Budapest. One of the best quality coffees in town and amazing cakes - I recommend the cheesecake. They have free wifi and you can easily spend a few hours with your laptop here. A great place

Amazing coffee place!! I love the shop, it’s got outdoor seating, and all of the accents (bamboo serving boards, water carafes) are thought through.Great atmosphere and several options for different types of teas and coffees - they even have batch (American/ filter) brew. There are several different treat options as well, bars/ cookies/ cakes/ yogurt parfaits. Almost all plant-based and many gluten free. Worth the stop!

A nice, quaint place for brunch/lunch in the afternoon with a vast selection in warm Hungarian food. At night, this place transforms into a busy bar with an upstairs and outside terrace. Great area to explore as well.

Tried an oat flat white and a mango green tea. The tea was good and it was very nice that you got a timer so you know when to remove the leaves. Coffee was mediocre, clearly they dont know how to steam and serve oat milk as I got a bubbly and foamy mess and not silky smooth like a flat white should be.Nice interiors, quite stifling and not a lot of vegan options and didnt have filter coffee even though its in the menu.

The quality of the coffee is excellent and justifies the high prices. That said, I had a very unpleasant experience today. My cappuccino to go came with almost no milk and no foam. My kind request for adding the already prepared steamed milk got rejected. The `result` did not look like any of the nice pictures posted by other customers online. What a waste! Very disappointing! Was recommended this coffee bar by a local to Budapest and was not disappointed. AMAZING coffee!! The flat white was so flavourful and perfect.They have a buzzer ordering system so they can take their time to make the ideal cup of coffee while you wait at your table rather than crowding at the bar. First to say. I love coffee and i also love tea. Everyday i search for a good coffee and/or tea. At Madal Cafe it was next to perfect. A sweet little cafe in the city of budapest. First i got a coffee. His taste was nice. After i like it, i next order a cup of green tea. Also the tea was on point. Next time budapest, is next time Madal Cafe.

An additional star because they have plant based milk options... but otherwise my flat white was simply too sour. the consistency of milk wasnt right either. they should check their coffee machine. having a La Marzocco doesnt help much if you dont know how to use it.

Trendy vegan cafe with lots of students and tourists. Quality coffee selection, expert baristas. Cakes and sweet bites are tasty. Clean toilets and free drinking water. Grab a coffee, have seat outside and watch the people.

Cozy experience. Second floor on the foyer overlook the counter every tables has power port and the bar sitting on the left of this same area has 3 power ports if you plan to work long. Try to grab some of these spots. The inside there are a secluded and quiet space but always full. Someone always there. Tea here is of decent quality. Not bad for Europe. Recommendation : Genmaicha.

Its not easy to find a Hungary-roasted speciality coffee in Budapest that isnt a popular Casino Mocca. If youre still searching, you have to visit Madal Cafe. They roast their own coffee under the brand Beyond Within and theyll prepare it for you perfectly, both for espresso and for altetnatives like v60

A popular place to come to work with laptop, but Id recommend one of the other Madals instead. WiFi is lightening fast, but power outlets are a bit limited, tables are small for working, and seating is uncomfortable. Upstairs feels very cramped, and tables arent wide enough to put a drink beside a laptop, unless you sit on a backless stool at the bar table. There is outdoor seating as well.790 ft for a small lemonade, cakes for around 550 ft. Lemon poppyseed was nice. Staff are pretty friendly. Open on Sundays is a plus.

A cute little coffee shop close to the heart of Budapest. The quality of the coffees is great and the guys are very friendly and helpful. They also serve things for breakfast like croissants, sandwiches and joghurts with fruits and musli. Their tea selection is also worth a try.

Although I have not been to a great many cafes in Budapest during my really short stay, I can say with enough confidence that Madal is one of the best in the city. The most pleasant part of sitting in this cafe is a strange sense of positiveness all around which is difficult to describe. This energy seems to stem from everywhere - the smell of the coffee, the soothing music that is playing all the time and the vibrant smile of all the staffs. I visited Madal thrice during my 5 day stay and sat there for more than 2 hours every time with my cup of Cortado. No matter whether you want to find a cozy little place to spend some time alone, or want to get some work done outside office or want to spend time with friends and family, Madal will not disappoint you. I would go as far as to recommend this place to each and every coffee lover that visits the beautiful city.
