Charming & Cozy lil garden! This place is a good option when you wanna catch up with friends in a good vibe, non crowded place!Menu is made of teas (of course) and cocktails and wines (note: they dont make any coffee beverages). Also, they dont have food, but they tell you to order online from The Bazaar (our order came in 1h 🤷‍♀️ but at times can be faster).Prices are medium (definitely not cheap).Location is a bit hidden, but gps always helps haha (and you hear the chilled musical when you reach the street).The stuff people are really nice!Would go again. 👍Suggestion: some cookies at least would be good in the menu, to go with the teas.

A very relaxing place. The music is very good for all tastes. It has a very wide variety of tea on the menu that suits everyone. At first sight might seem expensive, but you can take a kettle for 2 people and the price is better. :) Strongly reccomend!

Atmosphere is great, lots of shade and plants, must feel great in the summer. The menu offers a great variety of teas and alcoholic drinks, the Japanese gins being an attraction point.Service was good, but you could see they were a bit understaffed, but they managed.They also serve some snacks, what we ordered and was great, were the lemon and banana breads. They were out of mochi though.If you are in Bucharest looking for a relaxing spot with lots of shade and good teas, this is the place.

High quality tea and their snacks are very nice!

Great tea house, mainly through its charm in an old house with different ways of showing its age and tradition. It is close to old Jewish Quarter, near former Labirint Street and in front of a beautiful church. The products are also very diverse and of good quality, at decent prices. For 2 teas and a desert we pay around 40 ron.

Discovered this warm and cozy place by chance and loved it right away! Everything my friends and I tried was delicious and were definitely going to return soon! Totally recommend!

Amazing place. Great variety of teas and delicious cake. The whole ambient is well decorated and well cared. Music is good and at a decent volume. The staff is great. The waitress that attended us would speak english, spanish and romanian.

Great tea and location

Really cool place, love the vibe, the music matches really well with the enviorment and makes the atmosphere, really unique. Furthermore, the menu is so vast, you have so maby different choices, and the deserts, well, altough there are 3 they are really delicious, I have not tried nor heard of any of those, Mochi ice cream, for instance - which is ice cream enveloped in a layer of rice which does not taste nor looks like rice whatsoever. They only serve deserts and teas so if you are looking for something else I am not sure if this is the place for you. They have green, red, black, white and fruit teas of all sorts, it will take you a LOT of time to get through em all and most of them are very exotic so, all in all, if you enjoy tea this place is a must visit! Other than that, if you decide you do not want tea or simply desire a formal atmosphere this place is not really for you, given that the chairs are made of plastic, and sometime they starr to slowly get burried into the ground.

Very pretty place and cozy. They have all types of teas to choose from. I tried a couple and they were both delicious. Same with their lemonade. The ambiance is chill. Its totally worth the trip from downtown to this place. Highly recommended.

I really loved the atmosphere in this place. The interior has a very nice melange of old and reinterpreted accessories in a house that makes you think about story tales. You can find a wide selection of teas. I liked the red tea with coconut milk. Unfortunately I didnt have any choice of vegan cookies. Nowadays there are a lot of places where you can have this choice, but maybe there were no requests for this.They also have a very cute tomcat friend :)I will definitely come again for this cosy house and nice tea.

Absolutely amazing aesthetic, incredibly cozy, peaceful atmosphere. very romantic, not very family friendly (because it s pretty quiet), but also works for friendly hangouts. you dont need reservations, you can usually find a table. i had some sri lanka tea and it was the best ive had. to get there use google maps and you ll find your way. very underrated tea house, but probably the best in bucharest. ps.they also have a cat

The place itself is nice. However the surrounding is quite strange.If you are not local I recommend you to get there by car or by taxi. If you walk there you may be kind of get freaked out.

Atmosfera este foarte frumoasa,decorul este relaxant iar muzica este perfecta.Meniul este stufos,exista o varietate foarte mare de ceaiuri.Personalul este amabil,atent iar comanda a venit destul de repede.

I give 2 stars because I liked the quiet and shady garden and the cats. I was on a weekend with reservations in advance, especially for mochi. They didnt (quite embarrassing considering that on the instagram page they often boast about this dessert). I asked about any other dessert on the menu. I do not want. Their excuse was that the supplier did not deliver on the weekend. (??) I got over the fact that they didnt have dessert, we just had drinks, at one point I asked for another cup and some sugar, 15 minutes passed, I didnt receive anything (in the context in which the place was quite free, there were 1-2 tables occupied). We decided to leave, the boy who served us boasted that they had opened a new location in Amzei Square and we can find mochi there, we asked him with subject and predicate if the new location was open, he said yes. We went there, it was closed (at 7 pm on a Sunday, summer). Overall, I do not recommend.

Why I gave 2 stars:- I dont understand the ambiance of the place. Lets start with the aesthetic dimension: theoretically it is a bohemian and quiet garden with cats that wants to bring a little of Japanese culture to Bucharest. In reality, its an unfortunate mix between what I just listed and techno / rave music in the background + tiki glasses (?).- Now more practical aspects: the cold infusion is strained or infused using an envelope, it would be ideal not to chew rooibos when drinking tea. It seems like a huge faux pas for a teahouse.- The order came quickly, but I waited 15 minutes for the rest to be brought to me, during which time the staff sat by the cigarette 2 tables away (which I understand, but it doesnt take 15 minutes to smoke a cigarette). The resolution was that after 15 minutes I got bored and went alone to ask for the rest.- The table I sat at is rusty underneath, which is why I now have rust stains on my shirt and they dont come off easily.- Another minus seems to me the way the staff communicates with the clients, through reviews. After the negative experience I had, I read other opinions to see if I was unlucky or not. The way Chayas representatives respond to negative evaluations seems aggressive and out of place.What I liked: Cute kittens. They play there with the crocodiles. I was in March 2020 and then it was okay.

A real oasis of peace :) A lot of shade, a cat passes through the garden sunny, there are a few hammocks, chill-out music is put in the background, a delicious smell of perfumed chopsticks and tea came from the room. Each element of the teahouse exudes a feeling of peace, delicacy and joy. For tea I received a cake with ravas :)
