Great place to camp! Super friendly and accommodating staff. Good bathrooms and showers. Recommend staying here especially if you were looking to go to glacier Park.Their campground is almost always full in glacier Park and this was a great alternative.
Close to glacier national park, friendly staff. However when we called they said we would have hookup. We arrived and were designated a site with no hookups. It was fine because we have a generator. It was a fine place to just park, nothing fancy, the Prarie dog holes were fun to navigate when you wanted to go to the bathroom, the stray dogs show up to pee on all your stuff you leave out, tear up the garage. But the bathrooms were very ill repaired and needed to be cleaned. There was a used tampon in the shower, full garbage, clogged toilets that appeared to not have been cleaned in a long time.
Just a field with hook-ups. Safest place to stay in the area. Not very clean. Wild dogs come in at night to tear up the trash.
I made a reservation online with Sleeping Wolf two weeks ago for late June-early July, but I have yet to be able to reach them on either of their phone numbers. Their voicemails are full. I also tried to email them, and the email bounces back. I need to cancel my reservation and as of now, I have no way to do that except to file a complaint. I would greatly appreciate some contact from the campground. When I made my reservation, it showed it as the only site left and the others were occupied. After I made my reservation, it showed no sites left. I just checked their website again and now it shows multiple sites have availability for the dates. I would be careful about making a reservation until you’re able to talk with someone to confirm they are still operating. I was able to get a hold of other campgrounds in the area with no problem.
It was the worst short camping experience I have ever had. When I made the reservation I was told it was full hook up. When I arrived after a long day of driving, I discovered it was electric and water only, with a dump station on property. When I told the young lady that it was not a full hook up site, she just shrugged her shoulders and didnt say anything. I was shocked at how rude she was and it felt like they only cared about one thing. GETTING YOUR MONEY!! It was so bad we didnt even pull in to our site. We pulled over and called the KOA in St. Marys in hopes of finding a cancellation and we could stay there. Luckily they did have a cancellation and we moved to them. Although we had paid in full at Sleeping Wolf, I refused to stay there after how I was misled and treated on arrival. Please do yourselves a favor and DO NOT CHOOSE THIS CAMPGROUND. YOU WILL BE VERY DISAPPOINTED. It doesnt even deserve one star.
We stayed one night here, and we wouldnt recommend it. Great views of the mountains however there was trash all over our campsite when we arrived which we requested to be cleaned and then wasnt cleaned. No toilet paper in the bathrooms which were also very dirty. Lastly roaming dogs everywhere, begging for food, scratching at our RV door. Just a bad experience overall.
The simple amenities of sleeping wolf Campground do not minimize the value of the dollar a good place to stay. Call ahead cuz I have never seen many vacant sites for long.
Quiet out of the way place - good hookups. - friendly
Nice and clean. Would stay here again.
Back in 2017 my wife wrecked our car and we were stranded in Browning while our car was getting worked on. Im posting this review now because I still think about how kind the owner of this place was from time to time. The owner of Sleeping Wolf could tell we were in a rough place and only charged us for 1 night even though we were there for 3.She did everything she could to make us comfortable and we very much did enjoy our stay. That kindness is very rare in the world.Thank you!
Awesome mountain view...
A beautiful side of Montana. 50amp pull thru sites. Theres a dump site available but no sewage hookups. This is still a great unique site. Wild dogs wander through the campground, but its not the park owners fault. Its interesting to see the dogs sneak in each night in a pack and seek out food. No complaints with my stay.
Its beautiful.. Nice place to camp showers, WI-FI, cooking area..
Little camp ground but I think its closed to off reservation campers
Great, super inexpensive place to stay for a night. Just dont expect anything fancy. The tenting area is small and essentially a grass field with lots of tree cover. I was not charged any additional money to use the shower as others stated and it was nice and hot. Staff was very friendly. At $10 a night with showers, an easy 5 stars!
They lost our reservation. Had no room. After looking at grounds, glad we had to find another place. It wasnt a campground it was a plot of grass with hookups. Gal was not very apologetic or sympathetic to the fact they lost our reservation. Would not recommend it to my enemies! Found a much nicer campground close by and cheaper.
Very small campground . Very quiet staff was very helpful. Showers were hot and free. Laundry was available. They do have roaming dogs that are friendly.
Very small campground on the Blackfeet reservation with beautiful views of the mountains and horses in the pasture. The drive back to it might lead you to believe it will disappoint you but it wont. Our site was very easy to level on in our 35 motorhome. Would definitely stay again!
Good place. But unfortunately they decided to randomly start CHARGING US TO USE THEIR SHOWER FACILITIES when they were supposed to be FREE. They posted up a “security guard” at the bathroom facilities doors and started charging people $5 just to use the showers. Otherwise their rates were very very cheap and the grounds were decent and it was a great place. But doing what they did will lead to non return of my business from me.
Hard-working staff, pull through sites great, water and electric, dump station, small laundry, but clean. Nice view of the mountains. Within drivable distance from. Glacier and Waterton parks. Lock valuables inside as someone walked off with our towing lights...our fault for leaving them out with hitch. The world we live in!
Enjoyed the campout with Crystal Creek thank you for the sobriety get together & also being with my husband..Mr. Eric RunningCrane.. Love you..
Nice RV park. Staff were awesome. Bathrooms and campsites were very clean. We will be coming back to stay there out next trip up to Browning
We spent one night here before entering Glacier. It is somewhat spartan but the showered and toilets are immaculate. There are a few small trees and actually a lovely view of distant mountains.
Its a good place right next to the Race Track by are🏇Race Horses🏇AimsBacks🏇Relay Team🏇😎
We chose this place as a home base while driving into Glacier National Park each day of our 4 night stay. This trip was our first trip with a teardrop trailer and the park does not allow you to drive anything over 21 on the Going to the Sun Road. At first, this place seems kind of crappy but as the days went on I became more comfortable. The bathrooms and showers were clean but really far away from where the RV parking is (which makes sense I guess, since most RVs have their own toilets, ours does not though). The wifi didnt work at all on my phone unless I stood near the mens bathroom. However, it worked fine for the laptop computer we brought with us. My biggest complaint is the dogs. Seemingly harmless, there was a pack of them that roam around together from the houses that are near the property. They would constantly knock the trash cans down and make a mess. We finally tied ours up so it would stop happening. Though, I did see two men walk around each day picking up trash that had been knocked out of the trash bins. The woman who I saw running the place was nice and friendly. But they had a heck of a time knowing which space each person was assigned. At one point they made our neighbors move to another slot but no one showed up to take it that day. With all that said, I would choose this place again since its cheap and has great access to all the different areas on the east side of the park.
This was one of the worst campgrounds we have ever stayed in. Dogs run loose on the property access, we stayed two nights and the bathroom was not cleaned nor garbage emptied the entire time we were there. The property was not well lighted and camp sites were tight. Give this one a miss.
Awesome! The restrooms and showers are clean.
Quiet little campground. 50A. Didnt use showers or laundry so cant rate. Nice place.
Nice place. We are regulars. Very nice caretakers. We will return again..
Baths were clean, great wifi, only 10 sites, great view, broken glass all over our site. res dogs run loose and go through the garbage can at your site and pee on stuff. Homeless dogs? loose all over town also, so sad.
Good showers. Tenting area off by itself. Laundry available. Good stop for overnighter.
Good hook ups for RV or Campers. Good fishing hole in the summer
Not well managed, tried all day to call to make a reservation and phone wasnt answered. The website looks quite professional, directs you to making a reservation but it is by phone only. We took our chance and arrived without a reservation, young man in the office tried to be very helpful. Sites are not well maintained, bushes overgrown, dirty, many res dogs running around. This would do in a pinch if needing an overnight spot and not planning to spend time outside your RV.
We paid a lot of money for the camp ground spot and it was full of water and mud for the wedding. I think they should have turned off the water the night b4 cause we didnt even get to have the wedding in a good spot we had paid for in the first place.
Sleeping wolf campground was ok if you needed an overnight stay. Bathrooms were clean, but old. Only one shower head in womens worked. The one that did work went from hot to cold. There was over flow campers, but they were right next to bathhouse. Made parking hard by bathrooms. Very little grass which made it very dusty.
Basic rv site. No showers or bathrooms. Little shade. Sites are reasonable size and staff is helpful.
Very quiet. Very nice hostess
Under developed, but bathrooms and showers very clean. Staff is friendly and helpful.
Staff was nice polite but 5 bucks for a cold shower RIP off
A very nice place to stop for the night
Too pricey for what you get...eventhough i got an unserviced site.
Quiet, small and well maintained.
Wonderful love to come back
Very poor sites, not maintained. Would not stay here again thats for sure.
Very quiet place
We even seen a small alligator...
Great
Clean showers
