Tarzian has an amazingly wide selection of products, its well organized, and the staff are great! Theyre always willing to brainstorm solutions, even if it means taking time for what turns out to be a very small purchase. I love hardware stores in general, but Tarzian is my favorite.

OMG! Such a helpful staff. I am doing a creative engineering masterclass and have a project to build. I forgot my sketch but described it and they went out of their way to help me figure out what to consider and what tools to buy. I left the store feeling excited, and funnily enough, before I went in their store, I was actually tired and hungry. It will be my go to store during the course.

At Tatiana Hardware you can find all your hardware needs & then some. My favorite is their assortment of flowering plants, scrubs, and succulents. They also have beautiful pots to put them all in. Its well- lit and theres always a sales assiciate around ready to lend a helping. The cashiers are friendly and fast. What more can u ask for.

I just moved here and needed to pick up stuff from a hardware store pretty frequently. Tarzian’s staff is helpful and responsive. It’s good to have a solid hardware store nearby.

I mean... Online shopping is cool and all, but have you ever been to a well stocked hardware store? Tarzian is one of those brick and mortar gems that Amazon will never be able to beat. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable and they have almost everything you need probably. Yes, it comes at a higher cost... But as far as Im concerned its the price worth paying for if you want good quality and good service.

This Park Slope supplier has been keeping the neighborhood in materials to maintain our homes for years. Great selection and stock. Very helpful staff. If they dont have it, they can get it for you quickly and keep you informed.

They have great appliances and are normally stocked up. Staff is also respectful. Although they should inform you about their bag fee before everything is paid for. I bought quite a few items and I guess the cashier thought I was going to carry all in those things in my hand.

They have almost everything imagine able, they have quick service and the people are very kind. They do have fire wood but sometimes they dont so if that is what you are looking for you should call in advance just in case.

Good place, good placement of supplies, nice staff. I get Soda stream CO2 exchanges (fairly consistently available there, though call ahead and currently limit of 2 per customer) there and then random supplies because its conveniently in stock.

Every neighborhood should have an amazing local hardware store like this one. The staff here is so so so friendly and knowledgeable! Any question I pose they can direct me from types of paint to use depending on material to caulking to keys being made. When weve hired contractors theyd come in here because theyd have all the supplies theyd need. Prices are also extremely fair, or lower than youd expect. Ive lived in different areas all over the city and these guys are the tops. So glad theyre here.

I feel so safe and protected here. They always have a dedicated man standing at the entrance to make sure all who enter wear a mask -- and when someone tries to enter who isnt wearing one, they are NO JOKE and they are serious about enforcing Covid laws. (I saw them stand up to this big dude who looked scary, but they were undeterred.) Also, everyone who works here is extremely helpful and friendly (especially Sammy). It feels like a really family-owned type of business.

I like shopping local and supporting small businesses, but I won’t come here for much longer if the staff at the counter continue to text on their phone instead of calling people to be checked out, ignore me through the whole checkout process, don’t offer a bag, and then seem annoyed they have to pack things in it when I ask for one. The store was busy and there were people lined up behind me who were trying to get past with a stroller, and I couldn’t move out of their way because I was waiting for her to put her phone down and bag my items.

I always have a great experience here. There are a lot of knowledgeable people here ready and eager to help. Also, you can find anything you think youll need for any DIY projects you may have planned at home. Dog friendly!

Excellent neighborhood hardware store—you want it, they got it. I’ve been coming here for 8+ years for parts, plants, pots, seeds, cleaning stuff, fans, space heaters, just about everything for any season. The staff is always helpful and even my dog knows this is one of the local shops she likes. Definitely stop in if you’re in Park Slope and need to fix something or have a home improvement project! Plus their Instagram is helpful to know what they have in stock at any given time.

Finally got my hands on Lysol Spray this week from Tarzian Hardware They actually held it for me to pick up when they didn’t have to. I Truly appreciate this store at this time. Make sure you check daily to see what they have in stock and stop by you just never know what you might find.

Nice store but didn’t feel welcomed inside. I went to ask one of the guys for help , I was looking for paint it was my first time. He just said okay , I had to ask twice for his help. I told him I don’t know what type of paint, I just knew what color I wanted.

Excellent service. I came just before closing time and the staff was super polite and helpful. Highly recommend. The guy at the help desk is super knowledgeable and the check out girls were very sweet. Gem of a place!

We have always loved this hardware store; it is geared beautifully for the apartment dwellers and brownstone residents of the neighborhood it is in, offering smaller sizes and just the right things we all need. AND NOW, during this time of COVID 19, they are bending over backwards to still serve the area. I emailed a question to them on some supplies I needed in the morning, and, was greeted immediately with a phonecall and an offer to have the items delivered to me by early afternoon. Cant say enough good things about Tarzian Hardware. Highly recommend!

This place makes me want to cancel my amazon account. They have nearly anything you could ever need or want from a hardware store, and the staff is supremely helpful and generous.

Excellent go-to for home items, tools, light bulbs, paint, all sorts of hardware. Given that 7th Avenue is now full of food places, its great that you can still get home items from there... staff are friendly, service is good.

This is a hardware store, partly of the old still store you fund in the past. You can find almost anything here you would relate to a hardware store. The assortment is a little limited, though. Its also the store where you can walk around and find things on your own. Their prices are on the high side but as it is located in Park Slope, thats what you would expect.

My local go to for nearly everything. Always a friendly and helpful staff with little or no wait. Highly recommend

Nice store with very good selection. However I was very condescendingly corrected by a salesperson when I asked where a tool was located and used the wrong name for that type of tool (I called a sink brush a pipe cleaner - my first language is not English). Respect your customers!

Ive shopped in this store for my entire life. First, as a kid with my family and now that I have a family of my own. This place has everything: paint, home repair items, gardening supplies, cleaning supplies, storage items. You name it! But the absolute BEST thing they stock is great customer service. We went in over the weekend to buy some paint. We had calculated how much we needed, etc. Anyway, after speaking with Ferdy for only a few minutes, we realized we had to buy less than we thought and he helped us plan out what we needed for the whole job. He was great. Also, another salesman ( I wish I knew his name ) spent about 20 minutes last week explaining the different Benjamin Moore paints and how we could save some $$$ buying paint. It was great. The store is a more expensive than the hardware superstores but worth visiting rather than standing in a massive store, unable to find a salesperson & wasting time.

My experience in this store was great. I stopped in hoping they would have some metal rings to use when plating food. There were three employees standing right at the front door that I asked for help and they quickly showed me the selections available! I found two different sizes that were perfect! I am happy I asked for assistance because there is A LOT of stuff in this small store - probably would have taken me a while to locate what I was looking for. Pleasantly surprised that I found what I was looking for at this local hardware/home goods store!

This place is the last of the real Mohegans. They are a true neighborhood store that goes above and faaaaaar beyond for their customers. Every customer is greeted & acknowledge, but they are NOT pushy. They have an experienced floor crew that will honestly tell you the tools, equipment, paint etc that you will need. They dont have it? Not a problem, they will try to order it for ya in their next delivery. They deliver locally for a $5. charge and sometimes distant for a reasonable fee. PS dont forget to bring your own shopping bag, they have plastic bags but this area is very environmental conscious.

I dont think there is a time Ive spent so little time looking for what I want and so much time wondering what else I could use for the apartment. The customer service was AMAZING and instantaneous. Within 2 minutes of walking in, I had been shown, explained, and recommended something for my needs. Amazing store, great customer service, and I will always be coming back to this place over the others. A+++

Did not even bother to understand what I wanted when I came in with a paint chip. I simply wanted to know what the closest color they had was. The guy tells me usually the machine doesn’t work with small paint chips and that he was sure it wouldn’t work and that it always gives a darker color but that he would try. Five minutes later he comes out and said nothing about whether the machine worked but starts asking me what gloss I would want. I said I did not want to pick the paint yet and wanted to know what the machine was doing but he keeps pressuring so I said semi gloss. Five minutes later the guy tells me he’s already mixed the paint. I asked what Benjamin Moore color it was and he didn’t answer anything, just kept saying the machine had mixed it already. I have no idea what I was just forced to pay for.

A great store to stroll and shop. I always love to go there while in Brooklyn. Anything you need for the kitchen you can find here. Staff is helpful and attentive.

Good family run business

A surprisingly well-stocked little hardware store. Its expensive, but thats expected for the convenience of not having to get to Lowes or Home Depot. The guys working here are very helpful. In the 100+ times Ive been to Tarzian, only once have I had a bad experience with the staff.
