Amazing myofascial release!! My issues have been resolved fir the first time after a massage!!

I have used two different massage therapists here and received great massages each time. The business is well-run and a pleasure to patronize.

I go here for acupuncture (they take insurance but also have community acupuncture at a discounted rate), and have also had their 60m massage and organic facial. All are amazing and are provided in a tranquil environment that makes you feel at ease and taken care of. The staff is great and they also have some very nice products for sale. Definitely check out!

I had 2 recent massages there with 2 different therapists. Both different styles but equally effective. Good covid protocols in the waiting room and in the treatment room.

I first started going to Slope Wellness in 2019 to manage pain. My first appointment was for an acupuncture - my very first one - and it was a very relaxing experience. Staff were friendly and the acupuncture practitioner was very attentive to my needs. I have also received massage services. When the facility had to close due to the pandemic, it was disheartening , but of course necessary. Once they reopened, I made an appointment for a massage on 8/14/20. The facility engaged in a lot of safety protocols like ensuring masks were worn, that shoes coverings were provided and social distance was practiced. The practitioner did an excellent job in relieving my pain and body stress. Thank you Slope Wellness.

I’ve lived in the neighborhood for a long time and can’t believe I’ve never been here! The place itself is beautiful, quiet and inviting, but my massage therapist was the BEST part. I got a 60-minute massage with Capri Miner, who clearly knows his stuff. He was attentive and listened carefully as I explained the issues, checked in with me about my preferences, and then he did his knowledgeable, experienced thing. He keenly listened to my body and followed the breadcrumb-trail-of-woe up and down my back until the issue was resolved. He’s obviously strong, but was somehow able to apply just the right amount of pressure wherever needed. Even with his elbow! Moreover, he told me exactly what was causing my pain and went over things I can do on my own to keep it at bay. It was an awesome conversation, and I genuinely enjoyed his perspective and communication style. I usually leave beat up when I have stubborn knots, but I left feeling realigned, flowing and pain-free. I haven’t been pain-free in a really long time. Thank you, Capri! I’ll be back!

Ive been going to Slope Wellness for many years when I felt I needed acupuncture or massage. Massage is a highly personal thing, and what one person wants/needs might not be what another person needs/wants, but Ive had some very good experiences. Just ask for a different therapist the next time if the one you had wasnt right for you....I am currently seeing Jeff for acupuncture, and he offered me some information about my condition that several specialists did not! He took an extensive history and asked lots of questions before the first treatment. Hes realistic and candid, but is not rushing me toward surgery like others have, and I feel good about the possibility that I might heal well enough to get back to the activities I love.

She is truly an artist when it comes to massage and puts care into every minute of the experience. She is caring and listens to what youre going through. I love the calming atmosphere of Slope Wellness. Ive had a few massage appointments in the past with Amanda, and they have all been wonderful. However during my recent appointment, my massage therapist talked pretty much the entire time. It made it difficult for me to relax and enjoy the massage. I had been looking forward to completely relaxing during the massage, which unfortunately I didnt have the chance to do.

The products are all completely organic and natural. The facial itself nourishing and relaxing. She didn’t even do any extractions, yet I walked out of there feeling like I had completely new skin. I started going here last January for acupuncture to treat sinus issues and ended up staying through the duration of my pregnancy. Had a prenatal massage yesterday with Kari and the whole experience was great. From walking in to exiting after my wonderful massage. Kari sat down and took time to get to know more about me and made me feel so relaxed and comfortable throughout the process. I was a little nervous about getting a massage because I had a bad experience with a shady massage place in the past but this was an amazing experience. I felt comfortable and relaxed throughout and Melissa targeted all of the areas I asked her to focus on and even gave me a few extra minutes of her time because we started a little late. In an act of self-care I started going to Slope Wellness to nurture a post surgery back. When my usual therapist moved in October I was disheartened as I had formed that care bond - but my file was moved on to Kari who is amazing, and truly both a listener & healer. I got a massage at Slope Wellness last weekend and without a doubt, it was one of the best massages I’ve ever gotten which includes massages I’ve gotten in India and Thailand. The staff are super friendly and the office is beautifully decorated and very peaceful. The massage therapist was extremely professional and made sure the pressure was right and that she was focusing on the right spots. I have a bad back and very tense shoulders and she made sure to work them with the appropriate level of pressure. Highly recommend to my friends and am looking forward to going back.

It was an amazing experience for my first visit with Chelsea in the community acupuncture initial consultation. She was easy going and very thorough. I could see the swelling has improved after just one session. The front desk staff, Veronica, was so helpful when I first arrived. I have a sprained & fractured ankle and needed to use the disable lift. She saw me struggling right through the window and came right out to assist. My goodness. I wish I have known this place on the day of my injury!!! It would have saved me so much agony and suffering!!! Definitely going to come back for more service before and after my surgery!

This was my first visit to Slope Wellness. It was fantastic. From the easy location directly off the F train to the ambiance, decor and warm welcome everything started off great and set the mood for me to relax.I had acupuncture with Maria Macchia for plantar fasciitis that has been bothering me for months. I have tried everything and nothing has worked. Until now! I feel 85% better today. Which is a miracle. I have a follow up booked for next week but I have every faith that I am in the perfect hands with Maria.

Capri is great for massage if you want to understand what muscles you are over and under using. He has a wealth of knowledge and is super generous. Vince also has a solid PT understanding and I had a good experience with him, too.

I had a hot stone massage last Friday by Capri. His unique bodywork technique was awesome, combined with the heat of the stones. Youll have to experience it for yourself. He was also a great listener & we had a thoughtful conversation during the second half of the 60-minute appointment. I thought it was a good appointment...until I sat up from it at the end and felt more relaxed than in the past 6 months - then I knew it was GREAT! I think it is even more than massage / bodywork - it is healing.I can only say good things about him. Location is convenient, massages are great. removing a star because of the waiting area. theres a tiny peace of wood protruding out of the wall with no cushioning for you to sit on. if you have back problems, its near impossible to chill while your waiting for relief.

Had a 30 min massage from Marielle, and my back was back to normal after a muscular strain. The outside looks like a tiny place, but inside it is quite large and comfortable with a lot of treatment rooms and a very professional and easy going staff.

This holistic wellness center even offers csa pickup. Ive been going here for a couple of years and I find their massage therapy helpful to relieve pressure from city life. Their professionals have an excellent understanding of musculoskeletal makeup are all certified to address whatever ails you, including therapy and relief for those suffering from Parkinsons.

Amazing sport massage with Omer. My husband and I are runners and triathletes, and weve been seeing Omer for over 6 months. Each time we had a little issue from IT band, to hip or hamstring pain, Omer was able to work on it. He listens and adapts to your needs. Also when you have 1 hour massage, this is a full hour on the table massage. So anyone doing sports, I highly recommend Omer (he is also a personal trainer so he can also recommend some stretches)
