Im in LA and waned to send flowers to my friends in Brooklyn. I found Stems Brooklyn online, and the bouquets pictured on their website were so beautiful, plus they are an eco-friendly business. However, you never know when you order flowers online if they will look as great as in the photos on the website. But WOW!!! The bouquet I ordered was PERFECT!!! And my friends LOVED it!!!! And not only did the flowers LOOK AMAZING, but they also SMELLED AMAZING!!! Stems Brooklyn even emailed me photos of the bouquet they made the morning of the delivery day. And then the same afternoon, they emailed me confirmation of delivery, along with a photo showing where they had left the flowers. They did the flowers for my wedding and they were absolutely stunning.You can do all your ordering online-- but we stopped into their shop in BK because its SO cute and it was nice to chat with the folks and talk about options.Stems uses flowers that are in season (which is really awesome-- love sustainability). I gave them a color spectrum and they did the rest. I loved my bouquet and the two arrangements they did. My fella loved his boutonniere.The wedding industry can feel so wasteful and expensive-- its hard to know where to go and who to trust. I would give more stars if I could -- from the moment we started working together to the day-of, the entire team at Stems was an absolute dream to collaborate with and they designed an unreal floral landscape for our wedding. Zara, who is the wedding/event manager, was responsive, professional, creative, and a calming presence throughout. I have gone to this store so many times because I really want to like it and support local businesses but this was the last time. Spent over $40 on a seriously small bouquet that barely fills up my vase and asked the clerk to specifically pick flowers that didn’t die super quickly. TWO DAYS LATER half of the flowers are already dead. I change the water every two days on my cut flowers but they can’t even last that long? Waste of money. I’ll stick it’s the $8 bequests from the bodega that last 10+ days.Update: Suzanna promptly gave me a refund which was much appreciated.

I spoke with Zara on the phone for an initial consultation and I felt like she heard me vision and was ready to make it a reality within budge. Zara and Andraya made my covid induced backyard wedding the wedding of my dreams. They worked a long day to transform a backyard into a garden like dream. Zara was so easy to communicate with and accommodated a few set up changes last minute with no issues. She also worked within our budget and gave us different pricing options. She created the perfect color scheme with a mix of texture. The highlight of the event was a low waste arch that everyone could not stop talking about. The flowers were lively through the evening and lasted even into the next week. Really fantastic work! I would definitely recommend to any bride. The florals absolutely made the event.

I went to Stems to get a bouquet for my girlfriend. Every question I asked the staff member felt like pulling teeth. I wanted an arrangement of blue flowers and didn’t receive guidance, and got back a snarky comment. I picked from a selection that left a lot to be desired. I made the best out of the situation. I the. asked the staff member if she could please arrange them for me, it felt like I was bothering her. I explained that I know nothing about flowers and would appreciate her expertise. She did a run through and arrange them, but again it felt like I was bothering her. It’s a shame because this flower shop is so close to my apartment, but I will not be going back.

The Stems team made all my wedding dreams come true!! A few weeks later and Im still swooning over my bouquet :) both Suzanna and Rachel were amazing to work with throughout the whole planning process. I ordered an arrangement online for local delivery. The photos online were beautiful and the process was extremely easy. They even ask for the “vibe” you’d like to achieve with the arrangement (congrats, sympathy, etc). I must’ve missed the section for choosing a delivery date, and had a near immediate personal (non-automatic) email asking for more information. They were flexible about the delivery and even reached out to the person receiving the flowers to confirm that delivery would be convenient. To top it all off, I was BLOWN AWAY that they emailed not only to share a photo of the exact arrangement they created for me, but then also to let me know the delivery happened. I am beyond thrilled with their customer service. The folks receiving the flowers couldn’t stop raving about the quality of the arrangement. 5/5 would recommend!

Gorgeous, fresh, long-lasting and creative floral arrangements from a lovely team of designers. Ive been getting flowers from Stems since I discovered them 5 years ago when they were based in Ditmas Park area and have followed them as they moved first to Prospect Heights and then onto their current Bushwick location. Ive also had the pleasure of taking part in several workshops and even arranged a bachelorette party with them which was memorable and wonderful. Cant recommend Stems enough!

I ran into a little issue with their (as I have recently been informed, former) third party delivery service and Suzanna was swift to make it right. She responded to my concerns with the most empathetic and thoughtful email refunding my delivery fee and showing genuine care. It was enough to receive the stunning bouquet I had paid for but it was above and beyond to have the compassion and service Suzanna provided. True 5 star service.
