The moment I walked into this store I fell in love. Right at the front employees ready to assist with my needs even though I came in to browse. The store is endless when it comes to electronics of any sort from TVs, tablets, laptops. They have a department were you can build your own computer with every part needed. This store gives best buy a run for their money when it comes to accessories. You wont find dvds or movies to buy but the service and quality of items in the store is worth the visit everytime.

Its crazy how unknown this place is.The staff really helped me out with finding the best parts for my new PC 🖥.They even have graphics cards in 2021!

Place is really huge, nerd city, love the place, better alternative if you live south in the city (lower Manhattan, Queens and Brooklyn), there is a Yonkers location as big as this one but being that is far... The staff here are very professional in responding to the needs of consumers, being that there are only 2 that I know in existence, you should be able to get a staff when needed, but mind you, place is pretty huge, so its hit or miss, as for supplies, the have plenty stock although I found what I was looking for, I didnt find everything I need, simply because keeping stock of items for sale at this (and the other place) requires lots of attention to detail.

By far excellent customer service and I highly recommend anyone starting out your first pc build come to this place and hit up Joseph. He crunched out the numbers to the very t, and saved a lot despite the shortage in components. And for experienced people who loves Linux os hes the guy to speak about it. Only got 1 photo of the place but Im definitely coming back for more. Place is chill and friendly too.

My family went there to purchase parts to build a gaming PC for our daughter. After speaking with Shawn, he suggested getting the PC built by them of course for a fee. I knew he was doing his job, but considered letting then build it. I was told to speak with Maurice. After a free minutes I was convinced that they will do a better then I would for reasons that was obvious. Maurice was very knowledgeable and answer all my questions. He also did his best to provide me with all the items I needed that will perform for a long time. I recommend going there for any computer related reasons. They are the real professionals. Thanks again Maurice for being honest and speaking my language.

I am totally unsatisfied with Brooklyn Micro Center repairing service. Do not bring your Apple computer to fix there! Be alert! This officially authorized Apple repairing service was strongly recommend by Apple Store. They promised to save data stored in my computer and call me when it is ready. Nobody informed me about the status of this work. They simply discarded my computer and destroyed data without my permission. They had my e-mail and phone number. However, nobody reached me to inform about destroying my computer/data. It looks like they are interested in discarding your computer rather than providing repairing services and getting paid for it. Zero responsibility! Zero communication with customers!

The only place in the city I could even find a graphics card, and they actually had m u l t i p l e. Ive been looking for weeks for a card to upgrade my work computer. Finally I see they have two of the card I want in stock on their site, but it wasnt on the shelves. The guy who helped me out was awesome and took the time out of his day to track it down for me (I dont know his name, but he better take credit with his bosses cause the dude needs a promotion after this detective work). 6/5 stars, would sprint to the Brooklyn Micro Center again.

This is my first time at a Micro center and Im just amazed at this place. The employees are super helpful and knowledgeable. They literally walked me through each step and i couldnt be happier about the customer service and the selection. However, Im only giving them a 3 star rating because after spending 3.8k in a day and spent 5+ hours building the unit, it didnt turn on... I took the PC to their knowledge bar and they informed me the motherboard was dead. The options they gave me were, take the pc home and tear the whole unit apart to exchange the motherboard or have them put it back together with a new motherboard and charge me $299.99 for the service. George, the technician is awesome and nothing against him because i understand he has to make something but you would think Micro center would compensate him and not the customer. Again, this is not a shot at any employee, just Micro centers policy.

Let me first say I am a big fan of micro center. But how the sales staff are towards people they dont think will buy anything is awful. And did a bait and switch at the register both givi g me the wrong laptop as well as swapping to the other service plan that I wanted. When asked about it they said tough cookies (nice version), I thoiUght this was a one time thing with this location so I ordered some parts for a different laptop and had to wait almost 2 hours after I received a notice my parts were ready for pickup. While the person behind the service desk was trying to locate it and very helpful (they was only good interaction I had at this location) I felt bad they had to work with coworkers who didnt care

Honestly the best tech store to come to if you need anything that is related to computers. This place is literally gaming heaven. I came here today to return a defective keyboard and they gave me a new one is record time. Amazing service, everyone was friendly and nice. And they do live up to their phrase “your satisfaction is out number 1 priority.”

Bought my Dell laptop here, and returned to purchase a desktop. Knowledgeable sales staff. They listened to what my particular business needs were, and did not push me towards any particular brand. Walked out with exactly what I needed within my budget. Highly recommend this store.

I had great experience at this micro center me and my son build an incredible PC all thanks to Tyler. He was extremely helpful and very knowledgeable everything worked well. Great place for any kind of computers, parts, electronics and more. Staff is helpful, and goes out of their way to accommodate customers.Their prices are strange on some stuff - some network gear selling for 40% more than the (in stock, available) mfg website or Amazon has it for. Needless to say, great place when prime shipping is too slow but double-check the prices vs online and mfg web sites.They have a HUGE parking lot as part of industry city.If you found this revire helpful, please thumbs-up :)

Micro center is amazing. This one is particularly clean and well organized (compared to Queens and Yonkers). Great service in the PC dept. Very easy return process. Highly recommend buying your PC components and other electronics here if at all possible.

Micro Center is my preferred spot to purchase hardware, and I can get PC parts that most physical retailers essentially dont have. Their arrival arrangements are unbelievably sensible, they dont treat you like a criminal when you have to return something that was the off-base size, or shape, or basically didnt work.

I went to this Micro Center this morning with my girlfriend to pick up a GPU FOR my girlfriend. We lucked out and won the lottery. When we head inside, we were greeted by an associate named Daniel. Not only did Daniel had terrible customer service, he refused to sell my girlfriend a GPU because I have previously purchased a GPU from Micro Center 15 days ago for myself. According to Daniel, because I was there with my girlfriend, who is the paying customer, SHE wasnt allowed to purchase a GPU. When I asked where in the store policy do they not allow customers who are NOT in the same household or have the same address to not be allowed in the store together, Daniel could not respond and asked for a manager. During this whole time, Daniel indicated that my girlfriend was trying to buy a GPU for me for resale purposes. This assumption was purely speculation without proof.Sam was the manager that came to us. Sam was very polite and respectful when he was speaking to us. However, it seems as if he had to side with his associate and refused our GPU purchase as well. Sam stated it is how things are done in this store but could not specify any store policies.The way that this Micro Center treats their paying customers is despicable and disgusting. They presumptively assume anyone walking thru those doors are GPU scalpers. I would not recommend this location to anyone.

I always really love coming to Micro Center and I always feel like I can’t leave the store empty handed but today I have never been more disappointed with the store. I was on line in front of the store since 6:30 in the morning waiting patiently for the RTX 3080 ti and 15mins before opening a guy walks out telling me that there are no vouchers left. I was one of the earliest in line how is that even possible? And when I asked about how much they actually had in stock they ignored the question. I am actually convinced they never had the cards to begin with. I am truly disappointed with how they handled everything.

I was able to get upgrading advice & an estimate of how much the cost will run for my laptop.

Amazing service from the staff here! I came in to build a new computer and had a pretty good idea of what I was looking for. Basically everything I had on list was on stock. But I had some questions and an extremely knowledgeable and helpful employee (Joseph B.) answered all my questions and helped me optimize my part selection. Really impressed by the knowledge of the floor staff here as its at a level you would expect from someone with a fancy degree in engineering or technology.

I went into a local store with a friend of Arabic decent. I wanted to help him purchase a graphics card for his computer. We were interrogated, Asked for IDs, talked down to and warned by staff not to come in together because they automatically assumed we were trying to cheat their 30 day policy on graphics cards.Terrible treatment, felt embarrassed and treated like a thief and criminal. My friend felt terrible as well... Asked me later if I thought it was because he is Arabic.The worst experience ever. When contacted by a total disaster of a customer relations person we were offered a TAX deduction discount on our next graphics purchase.Our dignity and humanity is worth less than $100 to microcenter. What a terrible experience.

Love this place. The staff is extremely knowledgeable about all their products. The laptop we came into purchase was out of stock but they located a similar laptop with all the same specs we were looking for.The mamager came by to say hello and thank us for the purchase. Its nice to have this type of store in bklyn. They have a decent selection, so it helps when you need something technology related in a pinch. Ive been able to pick up most everything I need for the few PCs I built. Staff can either be ultra helpful or missing in action, but otherwise a nice place to shop.

Everything electronics, new and refurbished goods. The store is clean and the workers are helpful. They frequently give away free products to those on their mailing list. Best to call ahead for their free give-aways. They have a big parking lot. Be patient with the floor manager, though.

Walking into the store I am immediately welcomed by a staff member and guided to where I was looking to browse. I soon learned that this staff member was the general manager.You dont find this level of dedication to customer service anywhere else.

Update: 8/18/2020Not much to add except for after speaking with Apple, I was made aware that Microcenter charged me for a repair that Apple had issued guidance on that should have been done free of charge as Apple publicly stated the issue was of their knowledge and repairs were to be done free of charge. This guidance was issued BEFORE I came in with the laptop. Ill be glad to never visit this place again.Update: 8/5/2020Wanted to update this review just over a year later. The very part i paid almost $600 to repair on a MacBook failed. I called the store to ask if that was within their repair warranty and the person stated they would at least take a look free of the $40 diagnostic fee. I show up and I’m met with the very opposite. Not only was I told I’d have to pay the diagnostic fee but they also said to fix the issue of it was indeed the display ribbon, it would be the same price if not more than last time. I will go directly to apple along with documentation of the repairs that were done last year and attempt to have the issue address there in a better fashion. I have zero intention of returning to this store for any business of service, nor will I recommend them.I walked in after booking a repair for a MacBook and they were listed as an authorized retailer and repair. First off the technical support team was patience and responsive. As soon as I walked in I was welcomed and that part of my visit was over in maybe 15 minutes or so as I left my device to be looked at for the $50 diagnostic fee which I felt was fair. I then spent the better part of the next hour looking around the store as I’d never been and to my shock has been around for about 6 years. This place has everything. Every cable, ports, adapter, pc part, hard drive, case, you name it I’m pretty sure they have it. On top of parts they had a slew of stationary and portable Windows and Apple computers. Prices were also extremely reasonable and during Memorial Day weekend they were having a sale and while some of the savings were minimal it was nice to see them being offered. It truly felt like a more personable B&H without the assortment of camera lenses but they did have cameras so if you’re going looking for them you’ll have an assortment to pick from. Overall really pleased with the store and the variety of products offered.

Wanted a ipad 64gb, told the sales person I wanted a 64gb and refused the higher tier model he tried to sell me, when I went to check out, they brought me a 256gb model instead of the one I requested and said that they were out of the one I wanted. when I looked at the website it said in stock for the 64gb. It took 10 minutes before they pulled out the model I wanted. Really? I went here to support my local brick and mortar store, I could have easily bought this online. The Customer service here is terrible.

I bought something in NJ and wanted to return it in this NY store, well it took 5 different Micro center staff people and 15-20 minutes of my time for someone to try and figure out how to refund a credit card charge difference in the tax between NJ and NY and in the end they couldnt figure it out anyway. I guess they all missed that class during training. Plenty of parking here. Sales staff was pretty attentive...

That alone is good, because it shows an active effort to improve and work with customers. Thank you.______________________________________________Somewhat disappointed in the whole atmosphere of this place. If you have an idea of what you are trying to buy, then it probably will be in the store, otherwise, the sales people dont really take inventory seriously. More than half of the items I wanted to purchase for my electronics hobbying was not sold in the store. Thats what I experienced when asking for help. That help isnt really useful, because I took my time browaing and was able to find every item which was not sold here. Then the other thing that throws me off is that the salespeople, after I found what I needed, approached me and asked if they could put a sticker on my items. Look, Im not Grinch, so I let them put the sticker on my items. I get it. The salespeople work on commissions, but I didnt get any help from the salespeople. On top of that, when the person was able to find the item for me, they led me to the most expensive item in the category, and I asked if there is a cheaper similar item, just to be told no, thats the only item we carry. It isnt appropriate to deal with customers this way. I found the cheaper item, Im no fool. The only reason this store even gets 3 stars is because the items were available for purchase, the help is not even up to par here. The other electronics big stores figured this out, so their salespeople dont work on commissions, but that is a joke as well, lackluster attitudes that dont even approach the customer to help. Anyhow, know what you want to buy when you go here, and dont settle for the sales pitch.

A friend of mine asked me for a recommendation of any store for purchase a computer and some accessories, so I recommended him Micro Center in Brooklyn, New York, and we agreed to meet up today Sunday, June 20, 2021, at 5:45 p.m. at Micro Center, located at 850 3rd Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11232. When I entered the store at 5:45 p.m., I put my hands in order to get a hand sanitizer, and a gentleman named Sam, which is a Sales Representative, took the spray and sprayed the hand sanitizer all over my body and my arms, which immediately caused me itching and an allergy in my skin. I got speechless and I asked him why he did that, and he answered me with a really bad attitude and using an aggressive tone: What do you want me to do?Approximately 2 minutes later, another sales representative named Alex F. started chasing me and asked me to leave the store because they were about to close, not even using a polite tone or courtesy that all customers, I think to deserve at least, even when there were many customers purchasing inside the store.Finally, my friend and I decided to leave the store without purchasing anything.I have several years visiting Micro Center in all its different stores in New York and referring and recommending friends, however, today I felt embarrassed visiting this store. And others friends who visit this store have made comments about similar incidents or receiving treatment by the staff.I believe that if the employees, sometimes show or represent the face of an institution or company, having some employees like these ones, are just putting an institution at risk from a company that, as I believe, depends on its customers, and also about its mission and vision.

That is just a paradise for computer creators. You could find whatever you want.

Went to Micro Center for the first time yesterday to get a desk top . Best shopping experience ever. Suf the guy who took care of us was so Knowledgeable, patient (answering all my sometimes dumb questions) and personable going out of his way to ensure i got exactly what i needed. Natalie at checkout was great too. The store itself is so cool and well stocked. This is the reason people still go to stores instead of shopping on-line. A++++ all the way

I placed an order online to pick up my PC and upgrade its RAM. I arrived at open on Saturday and it wasnt too crowded, plenty of helpful staff. Shout out to Jimmy for helping me since I picked out the wrong RAM! I was in and out in 20 minutes (including the service)! It was my first time w any Microcenter and it was great! There is a greeter at the door who will ask COVID related questions and sanitize your hands which I really liked.

Tech heaven! This store is packed with everything you could possibly need for your technology. From computer parts to cameras, laptops to ethernet cables, the choices are endless and sometimes overwhelming if Im being honest. The workers are very helpful too, theyre always willing to go above and beyond, and they always give good advice unlike best buy workers.

This place is so big. If youre a techie, this is surely your toy store. Theres so much available and at decent prices too. Great selection. I just didnt give 5 stars because it is a bit out of the way and definitely an entire trip to get here. But youll usually find what you need and more!
