We have started with Crunch for over a month now, and its a delight, a whole new level. The software just made our lives a million times easier, people are wonderful, great customer service. Olivia, the Client Manager  who helps us the most, is amazing, always patient, always ready to help. After years of running my own businesses, I still never loved accounting, TILL NOW, I am so excited for this journey that just started! What I thought would be a scary experience yesterday, Olivia just made it seem like a breeze. And I finally learned some new things regarding accounting, yesterday, from Olivia!  I know I have a learning curve ahead, but I feel I can finally breathe if I can say so. Unbelievable. I also want to mention Andrea, she was always there when I needed, too, kind and helpful. Thank you very much!!! I usually ask very silly questions but the team, and today Anna, but notably Lucy and Dan who have supported me over the years, are always very patient and understanding. Today Anna not only answered my questions very quickly but she was willing to stay on the phone while I try to record the payment on the system. It really was very simple but I didnt have any idea of what to do. The Crunch team always keep me on the straight and narrow and even though Ive seen cheaper prices offered by others Ive always decided to stay with Crunch because of the personal and very understanding service they offer. I am an existing Customer. I am going to leave Crunch. I would have done this long back but just my laziness stopped me.Reasons:1. Expensive. Expensive. Expensive.Dont expect staff here would be helpful to you if you ask any accounting questions. They ask you to pay Fees to answer apart from your Monthly subscription fee.you have to pay extra for everything apart from that online accounting software service. (Its all self servicing)Better go with some other Accountants rather paying premium for self servicing software.2. Managers are less knowledgable and sometimes been misguided by them during accounts reconcilation and lost money by paying extra Taxes.3. Absolutely no help if you have no clue on UK accounting rules as you are using self-servicing software. I had to learn by making mistakes (of course it is the case in life but not in Taxation not good to your wallet)Good Point about them:Sales Team. They have absolutely fantastic Sales Team. You would be getting repetitive calls if they see opportunity to pull money by suggesting you other Fast Services once you are Subscriber.Dont expect this from Accountants or Managers to resolve your problems. Its the Customer who has to chase them until problem gets resolved or to know its been resolved.Fabulous and brilliant Sales Team they have !!!!!

Crunch has been a great help to me - from when I started a few years ago until when I closed my business this month. As a first timer, things were really confusing throughout this process and Crunch was always there to walk me through it. I didnt expect the service to be as well-rounded considering they sell themselves on their system (which is also great, simple, and regularly upgraded).

After using another platform and accountant and needing something more affordable, I joined Crunch. I hadnt grasped how much of my time would be needed or what I really needed to do (pretty clueless with this stuff) and as I was coming close to year end, my panic levels were beginning to rise. And then I had a complete walkthrough of my current situation and what I had to do on the platform with George House (very simple and intuitive platform BTW), who helped reduce my anxiety and helped me phase my tasks into logical, manageable chunks and order. Crunch Accounting helped me to set up my company and provide information on anything accounting related. They are always responsive in email and set up calls for more detailed matters. Their online interface is easy to use with no problems whatsoever. Highly recommended.

Friendly and helpful staff, however i quickly moved away from the system and back to Xero as the system was quite missold. Its nowhere near as sophisticated as Xero and suits only very small businesses with a small transaction volume, as they also told me once Id signed up.You MUST raise all of your invoices through the system! a massive thing I should have been told up front. When I said I did not want to as my booking / operations system already did that, they gave me some work-arounds to balance the books but it was a huge amount of manual work i just did not have time to spend every month.3 stars is for the nice people.

Fantastic Experience! George managed to sort my invoices with the correct VAT applied. I had mixed up my account and George fixed and reconciled using Open Banking. Brill!

I signed up to Crunch when I founded my business at the end of last year. I couldnt be happier with their service. The platform is very user friendly and the support team is always on hand to answer my (many) questions! A recent example was when I arranged a call with them to talk through VAT and Corporation Tax. George called me back and not only explained exactly what I needed, he also took the time to run through a number of other areas with me. He basically spent time tidying up my account dashboard and getting me where I needed to be, all in one phone call. Legend! The software is pretty straight forward although they very much work in siloed departments. I had fallen behind on my book keeping and wanted to close company, but instead of one person or department taking it on and sorting this I was passed from team to team. Good, but not great

I have used Crunch for 13 years and always be happy with the service. However, the service from Patricia today stood for being helpful, efficient and proactive. The result was that my original question was dealt with in minutes and unprompted Patricia helped me through some long overdue housekeeping - what we did in minutes would have taken me hours - I’ve got my weekend back - thank you!

Update: Have asked for my ltd company to be closed and apparently takes 3 months for this to happen. I have paid a subscription every month and now it takes an extra 3 months to close the accounts. Not happy, was thinking of going sole trader with them, but if this is anything to go by then not sure.

My partner and I set up our business in January and we felt quite overwhelmed at the amount of admin surrounding the set up and maintenance of the company required. Luckily we came across Crunch who have been brilliant to work with! They set up our company and all the required submissions to companys house and HMRC. They set us up with their accounting system which is really user friendly and easy to use. Our account manager and the whole crunch support team are always on hand to answer my endless stream of questions. They are very responsive and usually respond within 1 working day. The other handy thing is that Crunch have a link set up with HMRC and provide us with a personalised timetable on our account for the myriad of submissions to HMRC and handle all our submissions and communications with HMRC. Crunch Chorus is also brilliant with loads of useful articles about pretty much every aspect of setting up and running a business. We definitely couldnt have done it without them! Thank you Crunch!
