Word of warning: CeX= Untrustworthy- V bad experience for second hand phone purchased hereBattery was worn out and refused a refund although product sold was displayed as in mint condition. When a replacement battery was installed (independently) it turned out the phone had water damage internally also.

Dreadful customer service. They have totally reneged on the Sales of Goods and Services Act. Refusing to even assess for repair faulty phones.Only giving a star as I cant post without itThe response posted by Vanessa below is generic and false.I did pursue the complaint procedure only to be constantly fobbed off - this tactic is used in the hope that I will just go away. The battery was faulty and is in breach of the Sales of Goods and Services Act. Warranty has nothing to do with my complaint.I have never dealt with such rude and unhelpful counter staff - it was a dreadful experience .

Nasty company with nasty business practises. Refuse to honour their warranty. Beware of the fact your warranty is essential null and void from day of purchase, as they will do EVERYTHING they can, ANY excuse not to have to refund you for their faulty products.

Bray store has finally ditched the pretentious little upstarts, the two folk on this morning were lovely and so helpful, they have restored my faith in the store again.

CEX do NOT honour warranties, they take a confrontational approach and make every effort to avoid having to repair or replace warrantied items. Exercise caution when purchasing from CEX as they are not trustworthy. Their warranty test is just a method to find an excuse to not honour the warranty. The company is listed to be struck off with the CRO and the Advertising standards authority are looking into their false 24 month warranty claims.

Came in to sell 5 games and about 20 DVDs, got offered €3 for the lot, went with the same lot to other shop around the corner and I got €8 of them there! Nothing but ripoff! Also had a look on phone prices, same as my phone which I bought for €90 from meteor they were selling for €110 locked on meteor network and second hand! They are just mad! Dont know how people still go here!

Staff friendly and helpful. My problem with the shop is that there is no refund on any of the items if you purchase something . Considering the item was only bought the previous week and was faulty. After plenty of haggling an instore credit note was given .initially it was, snt for the full value of the item i brought back. I would recommend that before buying anything there that you check what come back you have first. I wont be purchasing anything there after i heard how my niece was treated. Bad customer service

CeX is everywhere, how did we survive before CeX! If only they checked there stock like they do when you trade something in, instead on sending out wrong/broken/sub standard items constantly! Bought a phone given B grade rating, it looked like some one had played football with it !

Not a very good selection of console games. Other CEX shops have a wide range but not this shop, I didnt interact with staff as I wasnt there long enough.
