This place is a hidden gem!!!!! I was craving Indian cuisine and my friend suggested it. Itβs located inside a plaza so I really didnβt have hopes for it as long as the food was good! But to my surprise, the inside was so beautifully set up and the view of the preserve was stunning.The menu has a huge variety to pick from and our server Joseph made some great recommendations. He was very helpful and provided us excellent service.The food was DELICIOUS, a 10/10 hands down. The spices and flavors were spot on and everything was made fresh to order. The portions are big and there was plenty left for lunch (which I canβt wait forπ).
Food is Delicious and the best Indian food in here and the prices are also reasonable. After looking at menu, we definitely feel like its gonna be our day after having a long day. And the staff is so cool and responsible. I would suggest to all the food lovers to have the same experience which I had the best in here. We got an early start on a Sunday morning and was quite hungry by noon. We felt like having Indian food for lunch so, we decided to visit Barwachi Indian Bar and Grill. The restaurant had just opened when we arrived. Joseph, our waiter was very pleasant and helpful. We were sat at a table that had a lovely view of Lake Gornto. The place had a warm feel, inviting atmosphere, and the staff was eager to please. The service was prompt and friendly. Upon entering the restaurant I noticed immediately they remodeled the place and updated the menu. We started with a mango lassi, it was creamy, sweet and very delicious. Up next, we had Chicken 65 as an appetizer. It was hot, crispy, moist, and delicious. This was followed by our entrees, Butter Chicken and Vegetable Korma. The Vegetable Korma was bright and fresh. This was a medley of vegetables that included peas, carrots, corn, cauliflower, and potatoes in a creamy buttery sauce. The butter chicken had a rich creamy sauce that was spiced to order. I cant say enough about the nann. The butter naan and garlic naan was cooked fresh. It was hot and we could not get enough. It was the perfect accompaniment to the sauces in our entrees. While we enjoyed our lunch, three other tables were sat beside us. Every table remarked on how good their food was and how much they enjoyed the service. This place will be a staple for our family. I cannot recommend any restaurant more than I recommend this one. See you soon! π
Iβm very delighted by this place! I came here a few weeks ago with my girlfriend and had a great dinner. She kept asking to come back and tonight we did and got to try even more dishes. The food is great, very flavorful and with great prices. The ambiance is nice too. Weβve been sat at the window each time weβve come and it is a beautiful view.I definitely recommend this place. Itβs the first Indian restaurant Iβve been to and the menu does a nice job communicating what the different dishes are. I recommend ordering some naan with your entrees; it heightens the experience π
I went here for lunch with a friend today for the first time. We very much enjoy the Indian cuisine and I must say we were pleasantly surprised on how authentic and extraordinarily delicious it all was! I am so happy to have found this place. Apart from being delicious, the place was very clean and the service was wonderful. If you like good Indian food, then you are going to LOVE this place!!
We were excited to try this place and it did not disappoint.My husband got the butter chicken.AMAZING. I decided on the buffet to get a taste of everything.Very good. I did get there at the end of lunch, so it wasnt very hot,but still great. The staff was beyond friendly and we will go again
This is where youll find some of the best Indian food in Tampa!This is the place that made me fall in love with Indian food! Everything Ive tried here is soooo yummy, and I get the impression that the food is authentic to how it should be! The staff is very friendly. The location feels homey and comfortable, but has been spruced up with tablecloths and has a beautiful lake view. Its a great choice for either a casual yummy lunch or a nice dinner! I cant reccomend it enough.They also deliver through doordash, and the food is just as good! It comes warm and with generous portions.

I would highly recommend this restaurant, when compared to orlando, tampa has a perfect fair pricing.For example the special boneless chicken briyani family pack cost around 35, same as new jersey price. In orlando, the family pack is half of the size of other places and priced more than 35.Tampa bawarchi is best. The quality of the food is great. Go for boneless chicken briyani family pack , it will be good for 4 people.Parking is limited. But you will find it.

Excellent biryani! I had the boneless chicken dum biryani along with the guntur chicken appetizer. Everything delicious and if you ask for it spicy they definitely bring it. Cleared out all my sinuses :) staff was quick and efficient. Also very polite and friendly. Portions were quite large. It would be very easy to share a single biryani amongst 2-3 people... Esp if you order an appetizer.

Easily one of the best Indian places Ive been too in Florida. The best in Tampa for sure. Get the chicken 65 and mango Lassi when youre there. Those havent let me down since Ive been coming here. π

Best Indian Food Restaurant in Tampa.I have visited the other Indian cuisines restaurants around and surely Bawarchi is the best of the lot.I have been visiting this place quite often, The food is great especially love the starters, curries and Naans.If you are new to Indian food try ordering Chicken Tikka Masala, Veg Korma and Garlic Naan, youll absolutely love it.The Lunch Platter is really excellent and freshly made. The food is generally medium spice, so if you want it to be hot dont forget to mention Indian Hot while ordering.I am in the process of tasting everything they have on the menu, so far they are all very very yummy.Bawarchi is my go to Indian cuisine restaurant.

I recently had dinner at Bawarchi Indian Grill and it was quite delightful.The food was hot and tasty. Authentic Indian Cuisine. The service was fast and I was able to sit at a table facing the lake. I had the Lamb Chops and vegetable Samosas. Good size portions and reasonably priced. The service was fast and great ambiance. You can go as a family or even better for date night. I plan to make it my new Indian restaurant in Tampa.

Searching for places to eat in the local area of Tampa and this place popped up. I donβt normally leave reviews but I feel compelled as the food was absolutely exquisite. The goat Biriyani may be the best biriyani Iβve ever had! Just annoyed I had to share it.
This place was AMAZING! This was our first time here and everything beginning with the service and food was great. Food tasted so fresh and flavor was just perfect. The waiter was awesome as well and very attentive. We came here almost two weeks ago and have been meaning to leave a review. Itβs also a good amount of food.
I visited this restaurant for the first time today. It was highly recommended by a friend. Well it lived up to its name. I was not disappointed. The place was clean and the workers were friendly and courteous. The food was simply delicious. When it was time to leave I even ordered some take out. I wanted to experience that same taste and recreate its homely environment.
We were first time visitors today, 6/21. The food was the best Indian food we have enjoyed in the Tampa area. The spice level was very good without being bland. Flavors were rich and blended well. Plenty of vegan and vegetarian options for those who prefer that, and a nice variety of dishes and appetizers on the menu. Nice dessert choices as well. We would suggest having fountain drinks available if possible in the future. Other than that, we found this food to be excellent and will eat here again.

Excellent food, especially the chicken 65! After eating here the first time, we made the hour and a half drive two days later just to eat here again, if thats any indication of the quality of food.If Google allowed such indecisiveness, I would award 4.5 stars. The only thing preventing a 5 star rating is the amount of time involved for dinner. The food came out at an okay time, well worth it, but we waited for a while to pay the check during the second visit. It is very possible that this was a one time circumstance, however, so dont let that deter you from visiting if your main goal is to eat some good food!I must note that their takeout seemed to be moving quickly, if that is something youre considering.
We have been going to Bawarchi for so long but their service recently has been really great. It was a great environment to go with family for dinner and their manager Joseph really adds to the experience. The food quality and taste is great! And I would definitely recommend this place if you ever want to try authentic Indian food.
This place is so good, that Ive been there three times in under a month. Each time we go, we always order the different assortments of chicken, fish and Lamb. Eat dish is seasoned with its own spices and herbs which come out smelling savory and appetizing, unlike other places that use the same seasoning for all dishes.The prices are extremely reasonable compared to similar places in Tampa and Brandon.

I had a very pleasant experience at Bawarchi Biryani. I ordered the vegetable samosa and one of their vegetable biryanis. It had a nice spicy kick and was complemented well by the raita sauce.
For dinner on sunday night we decided to order Chicken Mughlai, Dal Makhani, Rice and Naan. We ordered online using Bawarchi Biryanis website. Our order got ready in 20 minutes. The food was okay and nothing special about it. There was no salt in any of the food items. I am curious to know whether the salt was finished or you guys forgot to put the salt in food or you guys dont use salt for the food.Dal Makhani: Dal Mikhani was okay and beans in Dal Makhani was not cooked.Chicken Mughlai: For chicken mughlai we mentioned on website that it should be maximum spicy. But there was no spice in the food. Dont you guys read the comments on website or is it not worth to order from website online.Butter Nan: Butter Nan was okay.This time it was a disappointment.

I always liked Bawarchi and this time they added more rich flavors to the dishes.Also they changed menu, Veg Dumplings is one of the appetizers I tried today and it comes with 3 different flavors1. karvepaku, 2. Manchurian, 3. 555.I tried Karvepaku and it was soo good. I will try the other flavors nxt time.Any question about what you want to try in the new dishes, Joseph is a best guide..
Iβm a first timer but will be returning many, many times. Bobby was our ambassador. He was GREAT! He sat us at the window seat where the view was sooo serene. We had 2 appetizers that were AAmazing! Gunter Chicken, Kariepaku chicken youβve gotta try βemβ. Iβm ordering the Butter Chicken to take home to hubby. Canβt forget the GARLIC Naan Bread!! YUM! Canβt wait to come back.

Whenever I had a craving for Indian food (which was pretty rare honestly), my go-to place was the other Indian restaurant in Brandon-- the one on Brandon Blvd, and I always regretted it. Its not that the place was bad, it was just like, Yup, there it is. Im eating Indian food. Mehhh... Box checked. But there was no thought or love behind the food.So, I had a craving for Indian again and jumped on DoorDash, and this place came up in my search. I figured I didnt have much to lose and I was 100% ready to be underwhelmed.I could NOT have been more wrong.I dont know who the hell is back there cooking in the kitchen-- but that person has real TALENT. Theres a clear love and understanding of spices and flavor profiles and theyre employed so thoughtfully and creatively and they build a rich and aromatic blend of tastes that just fill your senses. Im sure its even better AT the restaurant, because even after 20 minutes in a steamy box, the Chicken Tikka Masala and the Tandoori Mix Grill and the garlic naan was still poppin!So, a big THANK YOU to the cooks at Bawarchi Indian Grill. There are people out here who recognize what you guys are doing...and we truly appreciate it!

After a long drive from Houston, Bawarchi was highly recommended and exceeded expectations. The food was flavorful and arrived quickly. We had the Hyderabadi chicken boneless briyani and Karam podi kodi (chicken appetizer). The mango lassi deserves a special mention as well.
I am not sure why this places has ~4 star rating, I liked this place a lot. Josheph who took my order was very informative and the service was great.Karivepaku Dumplings -The karivepaku sauce was very nice. The dumplings can be improved. I recommend anything else with the karivepaku sauce.Avakai Veg Biryani -This dish isnt available in many places and the taste was great as well.Bawarchi Special Chicken Biryani -Mindblowing. One of the best biryanis I have ever had.
This is the best Indian Restaurant that I have eaten in. I love Indian food and I have tried many. The service was friendly, helpful and delightful. The owner, Joseph is so friendly and is also a delight to talk to. He explains all the menu items and explains the cooking process and all the different spices and what they taste like. I now understand more about Indian Cuisine.The food was superb, outstanding. and very fresh. the spices in the dish had a good balance and I asked for not too spicy and I got it just right. Going back next week. Loved the restaurant owner and the food.

This place serves exceptional Indian food. The staff is very friendly and the owner always comes to ask us how we are enjoying our meal. They give us exactly what we ask for, and I think the portions are great for the price. This is the only place we go when were craving Indian food.

Bawarchi has great Indian dishes. Hyderabad dum biryani is my favorite there. The quality slumped 2 years back but has bounced back with new management. Joseph is a great guy handling the service with politeness and care. Would recommend this place for good Indian food

The restaurant was busy and there were many people who were out here to celebrate Fathers day. They had special dishes and offers for today. The food was great, its got the authentic Indian taste.
