Busy place. Ample supplies. Good parking facilities. Busy staff. Attention to floor cleaning in produce necessary because of some customers negligence and attitude. Excellent sanitation. Quality food and prices.
Well maintained and big place to shop groceries. They have fresh vegetables and fruits whenever you come. Almost all Indian household things available here. Frozen section is large and has good variety.
Not the right place for non-veg items. First time, I found butter chicken with awkward sweet taste. They use same gravy for all veg. and non-veg items. Chicken pieces were old and cooked again and again and served. They did not even placed paper nepkins in the bag. I threw away all the gravy and somehow ate chicken out of hunger only. I wasted my time and money both.
One stop shop for shopping needs of Indians. Especially those very small things like spice box, broom, chopping knife, spices etc. which can put a serious hole in your wallets at Walmart or Amazon can be easily sourced from here. Plus you get that homely feeling.
Dairy products good sweet motichor laddu
The samosas are always pathetic and stale. Surprisingly whenever you ask them; the associates will tell you the samosas are fresh. And you realize it once you go home and taste. Once we took it back and threw it in the garbage in front of them. Would never recommend.
I think it’s one of the biggest Indian stores. It has a restaurant inside it too where you can buy ghevar(It’s delicious Rajasthani Mithai)It has a huge variety of Indian spices lentils flour vegetables utensils and so much more. They also have folding manje here. You can buy fresh vegetables and frozen vegetables from here.Prices are reasonable considering the quality.I recommend this store fir all your Indian groceries.
The best place in GTA for Indian food, meat and groceries. Simply awesome!
Overall service is good at this location.Today sunday 3rd oct around 2pm i bought some groceries worth 82$Along I bought 8 pieces of Goa chicken from meat shop.Smelled rotten /vinegary/sourWorst ever experience. This has, changed my openion of the place. It felt leftover tried to sell it further by adding vinegar.Only mistake I met is not sent to health ministry.Hopefully you monitor this closely. My hands are still smelling.Never again!
Although it is a good place, but today for me experience was not good. The cashier lady on the sweets counter was so rude and actually misbehaved. I ordered samosa over the phone but she gave my order to someone else and said they dont have samosas. Then she said I have to wait for half an hour, which she lied, as they actually had samosas ready. In the end another lady who took my order over phone gave me my order. Overall it was a very bad experience.
Bought alu gobhi and dal makhani yesterday from the restaurant. takeaway. we are only 3 minutes away from the shop so it wont start smelling on the way home .. the food was smelling. it was stale,. couldnt eat it. we took it back to show them how bad the food is and the lady at the counter is saying you should eat immediately not after 2 or 3 days... we got into an arguement with her because she wouldnt believe we had bought the food the same day.it happened to me before too and i had complained. they did apologise but it happened again. i am not buying anything from there anymore. mistakes happen but instead of trying to rectify do not try to prove the customer wrong when the customer is standing right there with proof in his hands.
You can find almost every Indian (especially Punjabi) thing used in everyday life. Nice staff and good quality items.
Nice staff and very helpful. Everything can get under one roof. Prices are affordable. I saw some comments people said worst staff no one can pleased everyone but look at ourself first then talk about others guys. Appreciate essential workers. 😊
Fresh vegetables. Have everything for the Indian Grocery. All masalas, ayurvedic things.
This is very ideally located in the neighbourhood facility around Kennedy road at Sandalwood parkway.Almost everything is readily available for the daily needs of any household.Staff is cooperative, helpful and polite.Price are very reasonable. Me and my whole family is very satisfied.
Nice place to get all u need for Indian cuisine
Good grocery and vegetable store. Adequate ingredients, groceries and varieties available. The quality of vegetables was okay. Subzi mandi offers much better quality of vegetables but you can stop here for running daily errands and veggies for a day or two. Indian spices, grains, ready to eat packets and other household items are of good variety and quality. Would definitely visit again.
From the outside, you really dont expect the store to be so grand on the inside. Organized and clean, definitely will be coming back!
Friendly staffs... Varieties in groceries and sweets.. vegetables looks fresh... Overall good
Excellent place to shop South Asian grocery. Only one thing is very annoying, their religious vocals which are continuously played in the store. These vocals are not understandable by everyone and sorry to say are most of the time very irritating.
You Can find many indian items but they are over priced. Do check for prices on other stores. The restaurant inside is great but due to covid only take away are allowed. Else food is tasty.
This place is the place to go when your hungry for Indian food, they got all the dinner food like Butter chicken, chicken tikka masala, Samosas and more. Also if your looking for some imported good from India, this place has it.
One stop shop for groceries. They have an extensive display of different brands and options.
The best place in all toronto .. feel your sef in india ..
Absolutely disgusting horrible service here. The owner lady is most unappreactive. Long lines in cashiers and no support. Buyer beware
Best grocery store!! You get everything from one place!!!!❤️
Indian groceries and good fast food.
You can get every indian products hereBut some products have little brand choice such as wheat
This store staff is rude . One of the skinny worker is very rude not cooperative. Prices is 100% expensive as compare to other Indian stores .As a customer I bought stuff since 6 years.in the beginning prices was affordable but not now. I know COVID 19 is going on things are expensive in everywhere but this store taking advantages.specially in desy grocery 1, 2 dollars always more.please consider this review, chalo, and other Indian food stores doing good but personally I boycott this store. Please please please try 2 to 3 weeks other stores and then you see the difference. Thanks
The sweets and Indian samosas are tasty, but it doesnt beat the standards of Rajdhani sweets. Good fresh collection of veggies.
Good variety of products but higher prices.
Tasty food at reasonable prices and the staff is also friendly.
The samosas are delicious. The place is clean.
Good food and other ethnic stuff.
Some of the rudest sales assistants I have ever met anywhere in the world. They really have 0 communication skills. Last I visited, the floor was smeared on brown muck. They could have at least cleaned it. Worst sales assistant ever.
I love the Thali in this place. Authentic and fresh
I highly recommend these guys for take out!! Their Indian food is amazing, veg and non-veg. Naan is fresh and even at 8 pm the food was amazing thanks guys.
I liked the wider isles and cleanlyness. Great place for indian people. I was the only real Canadian present atthat time. Only 1 time to look and price apples. Larry
Everyone in my family got food poisoning. Do not buy the Indian sweets from here. There are plenty of stores near by to go to but avoid this store!
Good choice of goods.Mostly friendly.Wonderful selection of sweets.
Good place for buying grocery.
This is very ideally located in the neighbourhood facility around Kennedy road at Sandalwood parkway.Almost everything is readily available for the daily needs of any household.Staff is cooperative, helpful and polite.Price are very reasonable. Me and my whole family is very satisfied.
Disappointed. Tried there pakoras and were full of dripping oil, no taste atall. STOP SELLING them please. Not meant for human consumption. I am now scared to try something else from this place
Good for grocery shopping however always check the expiration date on the packet before purchasing it.
Good place for good grocery 👍1* less because grocery prices were high.
1 star less for high prices else everything is good and wide range of products
Good place to get Indian groceries and Indian vegetables in pots (gardening)
Really good place for punjabi grocery
Awesome store, bit costly but few things are always on sale so no harm in going n trying it out! Huge store and you will find all Indian/ Punjabi stuff probably you are looking for.
You get all indian groceries here.. you could always listen to the punjabi hymns in the background which is a different feel inside the shop. You could also purchase food like Thali, curries, breads, snacks , sweets etc from there
Surprisingly great selection and clean atmosphere. My new go-to Indian grocery store.
It is an Indian-Pakistani grocery store that means you can all desi stuff from desi groceries to desi masala. I have been going to this place from last 2+ years. It is a good store but sometimes staff is rude.
Very well stocked Indian supermarket.
Good selection. Good customer service
I used to like this place. I am buying all my Grocery here from last 4 months. But today, I have a very bad experience.Whenever I visit this place I like to buy Sweets. Like every time, I bought some sweets yesterday. But the sweet was so hard and I can tell that this is the worse I ever buy here.Today morning I went to store to let them know that what they sold me was not fresh.I told them that I have been buying the same sweet from long time. But, the lady over there says this is how they serve and thats always the same. And she was never ready to accept that it was not fresh. Finally, I gave up explaining her and was walking away, but she called me gave the money I paid.I tried to tell her that its not the point of money but its the quality of food you sell the customer. I was ready to buy if she got fresh. But, the attitude she showed was crazy. She didnt realize that she is loosing a regular customer. Maybe next time I think before I visit this place.
Good grocery store that has all in one products for home
Our go to Punjabi / Indian grocery store in the area. The Gurbani playing in the background is always nice. The Indian specific groceries are always great quality. We stopped getting food from the attached restaurant, since we had a couple of bad experiences with it (switched to Brars at Trinity which is pricier but better quality)
Staff very rude especially at the sweets counter.
Very well stocked aisles, a bit over priced for certain items, but since its customer base is niche, its understandable. Otherwise, great location to shop for all the Indian groceries.Always fresh vegetables.
Unless no prices no staff i left after 5 min
A girl wokring with cash was so rude. She was yelling so loudly and this is not the way to speak with costumers. They have to speak politely with costumers. It was my first visit and it was so bad.
Aunties were too rude. never come back
The restaurant has the best flavouring in their sauces, not too sweet, and nice and spicy. The curry is very spicy. There is a good selection of mithai, but its not always fresh. The grocery store is better than most Indian grocery stores in Brampton (okay prices, clean, and not too cramped).
Their samosas are really good
Great place for us @Indian
Prices are high compared to other Indian grocery stores plus they don’t have much opt for Indian groceries. But can go for some quick grabs.
Always a delight to go to this store and see a lot of Indian brands.
Good service Friendly Workers Big indian vegetable store
Nice Indian Grocery Store. Usually they are one when rest everyone is closed. But what I have felt that food quality has gone down in the restaurant and meat section.
They have a large clean facility, this is critical especially during covid for social distancing. Good stock of Punjabi/Indian grocery items, you wont find at other stores. Some items are slightly overpriced.
Large Indian grocery on Kennedy road. Brampton with meat section and restaurant.
One of the best Indian stores around , I should say international store. You cannot beat their collection of spices. The food served is so authentic that it feels like you having it at an Indian restaurant. Everything is so fresh and delicious.Visiting here is like a treat for me 😁I think you should open your centres in Downtown and other places too.
Wish the employees were a little more helpful. Or least they could do is acknowledge your questions?.
Good place but prices are high
I used to visit their Albion and Islington location. When I moved, their Brampton location was close by. The lady who owns the place is always smiling.I love visting it on my off days. Lots of variety and good prices.Their restaurant food is delicious. The young Canadian Punjabi lady who is behind the counter is gracious and awesome.Just an amazing store!
Very organized layout. Friendly staff. Nimmi is extremely helpful, friendly and always smiling , even towards the end of the day.
Amazing takeout food!! Love the spicy biriyani and butter chicken!! Great vegetarian options as well!
My local Indian Bazaar! Well stocked with all Indian and Canadian fruits and vegetables. They have an assortment of well priced dairy, spices and condiments. Wide range of variety packs of dry legumes, lentils. Huge section with Indian breads and frozen foods. Open 7 days a week including statutory holidays for your last minute shopping of disposal plates, glasses and cutlery. Fresh meat section with ready to BBQ marinated chicken. Recently opened eatery with sitting and take out for Indian thali, steaming hot samosas and variety of Indian sweets. Very helpful and friendly staff.
Fan of eemarti and parothas from here must try.
Nice one
We get a bunch of Indian stuff
Used to be nice and clean. Need much improvement on customer service.
Great place to shop for Indian groceries and general products, which are generally not available in Toronto. It also has pooja stuff, utensils, Indian snacks, etc.The organization is a little messy, but if you ignore that, this place offers a lot.
Best meat in store. You dont have to go local butcher or meat shop or to warriach meats separately. I used to buy in Savvy butcher but now Im regular here since Covid shutdown in April.
Nice store to buy some Indian grocery , snacks or sweets. Just need to organize some stuff in this store.
You get almost everything you want.. indian pakistani... variety is good.. decent prices
One stop outlet for budget groceries food and sweets
There are some foods that is lacking quality. The prices are high and some food is not hygiene- literally trashed some of the snacks 🙁But other than that it’s convenient and great place
I dont know why i cant find really fresh indian vegetables there.
