Stopped by here after a long day of exploring! They had a band from Arkansas playing. We 1st walked in the main entrance however we didnt take the tour. They have an amazing outdoor seating area and also a few standing up spots. The service is extremely fast, efficient and everyone is very friendly!! Our server was extremely knowledgeable about all their products and helped us pick the best options!! We werent very hungry but our kids were and we picked grilled cheese and veggies tacos for them and the kids liked it. The beer is absolutely delicious and they even have their hard ciders as well as lambic style beers overall a great place to relax and grab a couple drinks.

This is a neat brewery and restaurant in Boulder. I loved the beers. The outdoor patio is great for late spring, summer and early fall. It seems like a great place to bring dogs, too! Staff provided water bowls for dogs. I really enjoyed the pretzel appetizer. Staff was also friendly and offered good suggestions. My husband and I shared meat, meat, meat for dinner since we didn’t want leftovers and it was the perfect sharing amount for us (although we don’t eat a lot!) The ribs tasted amazing and barbecue sauce was really tasty in particular. My only critique is it is a little pricey for food, and I wish the menu had a few more options.

I really enjoyed this place. I had the chicken sandwich and brussel sprouts. Both were very good. They have 30 beers on tap. The Avery IPA and Ellies Brown were great. Service was fantastic. I started outside with a really nice person and she got me an inside seat upstairs. All the staff up there were really nice. I would definitely recommend this place.

The brewery forgot about our table for about an hour, which youd think might ruin the experience. However, once we brought it to their attention, they more than made up for it. Giovanna covered the first round for our group and even brought a round of complimentary tasters, all while providing excellent, attentive, and friendly service. Everything was tasty, but really the best part was Giovanna! Thanks!

Fun brewery with award winning beer recognized across the country. Avery boasts a large indoor and outdoor seating selection along with a high quality food menu to choose from. The staff is also super friendly and knowledgeable about the beer selection. I would suggest getting small 2.5oz or 5oz orders of multiple beers so you can try as many as possible. I greatly enjoyed my time here and would recommend Avery to anyone looking for the full brewery experience.

Have food allergies so I brought my own food while the rest of my family orders food and drinks. Lady comes to inform me I can’t have my food there. I stand outside of the chained area and try to finish my meal in a car parking space and server comes out asking me to move but doesn’t really have a clear answer as to wear and then decides I’m okay where I was. Really just ruined the whole experience of being at Avery. Really just train your staff the basics of what is allowed and maybe stop focusing on a person eating something in a parking lot especially if it’s not against your rules/regulations.

Tl;dr Don’t eat here. But worth coming for the experience and great brews.Pros-unique space, fun atmosphere!-staff were attentive-one of the cleanest places I’ve seen. everything was clean to an IMMACULATE level including the bathroomsπŸ€™πŸ’―-dog friendly; we were surrounded by puppies🐢-huge outdoor area with cornhole and grass-great beer selection. They have something for everyone (try Pear of Peaches IPA)Cons-Food quality was inconsistent and underwhelming. Ingredients were soggy and not fresh. ☹️-expensive food with tiny portions.πŸ’°πŸ’°-fries were wet and old. One of the things I look for in a solid place is good fries.-server asked us like 3 times if we are done but we couldn’t respond because we had food in our mouthRecommendations for improvement-Food should always be served fresh. Get a head chef in there who wouldn’t allow soggy or low quality meals to leave the kitchen. You don’t want your visitors to have immediate buyers remorse after ordering.-Increase portion sizes by 20%.-Master the art of crispy fries.-Don’t rush your customers while they are eating.

Their selection has always been ok to me, but tonight I bought a six pack cuz I thought the can design was cool... turns out at least 3 of the beers were the color of garbage water. We thought thats how it was until opening the next beer and it was normal beer color. How did a professional beer maker not catch this, and even further see it mixed with acceptable beers in a six pack?

Service was ridiculous. They dont let you order at the bar... to have a beer, you had to go to a tent out front so they would seat you, then you just wait 30 minutes for a server to take your order. They had signs telling you what to do, but they were hidden behind plants and it looks like they just had an event going on to someone who isnt a regular. We were confused until an employee told us where to go, and after noticing the 3rd group of people show up making the same mistake we did I mentioned it to our server Vanessa (according to our receipt). She was very rude, and said it was obvious to anyone who could read. Insulting customers isnt that hard to avoid.Beer was good, but they dont allow you to have any small tasters before ordering a beer (but you can buy a small pour, of course). Ive never been to a brewery that had this policy, most want you to find a beer you actually like.Food was good, just incredibly overpriced.I would rather drive the extra hour to go to New belgium instead of returning. Similar quality beer, but without the terrible service and prices.

We have been going to Avery since they were at the old location we love the beer and love the new facility, but Avery really needs to re-evaluate their methodology and system for actually seating as many people as possible.Everytime we visit, the host/hostess states that the wait is 1+ hours and then offers for us to stand at the barrels. Usually, your wait it less than 20 minutes before the give you one of the open tables. This time, the hostess suggested that we order to go food while we drank a beer. We took her suggestion, and took one of the numerous open barrels and then proceeded to watch 10+ tables stay open the 25 minutes we were there. During our short visit, we had to open and close 3 separate tabs (1 beer, 1 food, and 1 to go beer since we could not eat our food at the barrel). The backup in service is clearly not with the kitchen or the bars, but the fact that the host stand are completely clueless to their surroundings and strictly focused on what their ipads tell them.

For my first trip to Boulder, Avery Brewing Company came highly rated. I was not disappointed. Their experimental beers are all so interesting I had have to have the waitress come back twice because I could not make a decision! Thankfully, they have small pours available so you can make your own flight. The food also was amazing! They have a great variety of meat lover and vegetarian options. Also, special COVID note: they are not fooling around with taking precautions. As someone traveling from chicago, with much higher infection rates and stricter restrictions, I was surprised at how casual everything seemed to be in CO. Not at Avery. Everything was properly sanitized and they were taking every effort to distance people appropriately. My husband and I NEVER eat inside, but at Avery, the tables were so distant, we felt comfortable doing so.Top notch all around!!

I was really looking forward to trying the new Mary Anns Pie beer that they released today at Avery Brewing so after work I took the 30+ minute drive to here. This was my first time here and from word of mouth I heard they are dog friendly so I had my dog with me who is obedient trained. I walked outside and saw no one was available to help so I went inside. As I was looking (my dog doing nothing but sitting next to me) a worker came up to me and told me that I needed to leave as soon as possible. I mentioned to him I saw nothing on the website or on the door stating that dogs werent allowed inside, no one was available to help outside, I was all the way in the corner bothering NOBODY and all I needed was a 6 pack of the Mary Anns Pie beer but he just walked away and ignored me. I wasnt even asked if I needed help which was bothersome because the people that walked in when I left were greeted nicely compared to how I was treated. I heard good things about this place and was really looking forward to trying the beer all day but after that Id rather take my business elsewhere.

A group of a buddies and I had an absolutely awesome time at Avery that exceeded all expectations. They would get 6 stars if I could give them.Upon showing up, we were greeted by Jocelyn (the general manager) and multiple different hosts who were so kind as we waited for our table. We had multiple beer snobs and homebrewers in our group, and yet each beer (and we tried a lot of them) was killer. The Irish Goodnight was a favorite with its smooth mouthfeel, complex malty flavor, and slight punch from the high ABV. From the service side of things, we had to go through a server transition, as we were there around 3:30pm, likely around a shift change. The Avery staff handled this perfectly, with no hiccups to be seen. Finally, we were so impressed with our time at Avery, that a number of members of our group bought shirts, mugs, and hats as we left. This is a long winded effort to say...visit Avery, drink their beer, and support them by buying their beer in stores. Theyre an absolutely killer brewery who knows how to provide an awesome taproom experience.

Don’t get me wrong though. Everything I tried was still great and delicious. We also go their meat platter (baby back ribs, beef ribs, chicken thigh, and sausages). It definitely hit the spot. The dinner was exceptional and the raspberry sour beer is quite amazing. The wait staff was extremely helpful if Im ever in the area again I will return here highly highly recommended

Such an awesome brewery. They have such a huge selection of beers, including sours. Makes it a perfect place for my wife and me. I dont know if I had a favorite brew, but the slim hazy ipa did stick out a bit.

Love Avery Brewing Co. They have a fun beer tour, the staffs customer service is incredible, they did everything possible to make me feel safe during Covid, they taught me that beer can be a million different things. 100% recommend this place.

Went with my two boys and our dog to sit outside and eat. Ordered two angry clucker chicken sandwiches and one regular chicken sandwich. We had garlic fries, green chili and coleslaw for sides. All the food was very tasty / excellent/ well crafted. There was a snafu with the order not getting put through and we had a very long wait. As soon as the server realized there was a problem and management was notified, we were taken care of in the most responsible way by the restaurant. Bottom line: great food!

Great place for a quick bite to eat and an awesome selection of beer. Had the gumbo and poutine nachos. Both were very good. Tried a few of the beers. All were excellent.
