I only went here for the scenery, I am impressed with their food it tasted good and it was season well. I got the lobster tail with steak and mask potatoes I didn’t enjoy the steak much but let me tell you the lobster and mash potatoes tasted very good. The drinks was very good I got a mimosa it was so good that I had to order two more glass. The pina colada was very good the sever was A1 I would definitely be going back heats and I would recommend here to anyone.

Went for our anniversary, had already heard good things about the restaurant. Ended up being amazing! Service was excellent, they made us feel so special for our night. Chart House is known for its view of NYC and for good reasons. The dinning hall regardless of where you sit offers amazing views. Large tall windows cover over 180°of the restaurant really allowing you to enjoy your meal while looking across the Hudson to NYC. The restaurant is very clean with a modern touch and accommodates reservations large and small.The menu is small but focuses on quality and presentation and is prepared to you perfection. I would highly recommend Chart House for all occasions.Our Server Bryanna was excellent. She alone deserves 5 stars plus. Very attentive, helpful, and sweet. She really cared to ensure we had everything we need at the right time during I full restaurant time. When my wife and I return to The Chart House we would kindly ask to be served by her again.Furthermore - drinks are absolutely delicious!!!!!

My husband and I had a truly wonderful dinner this evening. The Black and Blue Swordfish was excellent!!! I had the stuffed shrimp with mango rice. Alex was a great wait person. I recommend the Peach Palmer. Tasteeee.

I attended a wedding reception at this beautiful location on the water. It has a beautiful interior with a huge staircase leading up to a beautiful view upstairs in the rooms overlooking the water. The Chart House staff were very accommodating and always available to answer a question or assist in any way possible.Now, lets talk about the food... it was delicious. They served a parmesan crusted & garlic shrimp & scallop first course, then a baby iceberg wedge salad with grape tomatoes, and a blue cheese vinaigrette, and the last but not least the entree choice was stuffed lobster tails (with crab & shrimp stuffing), Tenderloin Medallions in a brandy peppercorn sauce, or a Chicken Romano with lemon butter.They also had a signature drink, a margarita that was just perfect and the bar was flowing with them to every table.I highly recommend Chart House for a private event.

I have to be honest just went there a few days ago and I was blown away! Didnt make a reservation and walked right in. Wait time was not bad at all. Did the outdoor dining, view was perfect. Staff was very friendly. Did appetizers and drinks. The hummus was perfect! Server recommended an appetizers and it was magnificent! Coconut shrimp was really good and crisp. The food was all on point. Taste, quality, and presentation. Staff was always attentive. Passing by the inside looked great. As we were leaving we did see a wait so ensure you make reservation. Place looks very elegant and modern.

Lovely Views, great cocktails, good crowd , great food . Slightly steep prices but you pay for experience. Staff members are full of attention , environment is beautiful . Love their specialty cocktails. Definitely a place for a special night or just about any occasion.

The view is spectacular!!!! Especially the outside patio. Ambience is nice, romantic and elegant. Bathroom is kept tidy, clean & functional. Service was great! I had the opportunity to visit this restaurant a few days back.They were really kind by accommodating a spot in their busy reservation system so I can bring my mother to have a nice dinner-birthday celebration.Upon our arrival we requested if possible to have a table at the patio, which they magically made it happen.Their food menu is good, and just what youd expect to have as dinner options.Mixed drinks.. well, what I decided to drink was just not at their level or at my level of expectations. I got a pomegranate martini, which was pretty lame. Sadly I didnt get asked if I was okay with it.Overall it was a good experience, of course the nice view of NYC makes for everything elseNo that I expect to have anything free for a birthday celebration, but I guess bringing a candle over the desert I ordered wouldve been a nice detail of them.Ill try to give it another try in the future, maybe a visit to their bar before summer is over.

Absolutely one of the better dining experiences I have had in a long time. The view alone makes the experience. Request a table near to one of the floor to ceiling windows. The service is tops and the food was delicious. Child friendly. Comfortable for both couples and families. They are able to accommodate dietary limitations. Everything was a hit. Make time to enjoy a stroll along the waterfront. Wish I could give 10 stars!

And I can’t wait to get back and sit outside on a warm summer night. The skyline views are hard to find.We started with the Shrimp Crab Avocado + Mango Stack. It was good but a bit underwhelming. May have been under seasoned? Just felt like it should’ve been packed with flavor and it wasn’t.For mains, we had Blackened Halibut and Filet Mignon. The halibut itself was really good, but the vegetable couscous did nothing for that dish. At the price point of halibut, the side should be better.The filet was a bit underdone, closer to rare than medium rare. It was a fine steak, but also under seasoned. The garlic mashed potatoes were awesome.Dessert was the star of the show. We got the hot lava cake. The issue was that our server told us when ordering dinner that if we wanted to get that for dessert, they need 30 minute advance as they’re made to order. We weren’t ready to commit at that time, so he said he would ask again in a little while. That time never came. We had to ask to put the order in after we had finished our meal, so the wait time only started then.Having said that, it was incredible. Highly recommend.Overall it was a good meal, but we expected more. The service was not as attentive as we would’ve liked at a place as nice as that. Drinks were fine, food was good not great. Ambiance was stellar.

1st visit, great food, great view, nice ambiance, nixe cocktail, good services (a bit delayed on the services outside). Suggest you do reservations especially on the weekends, otherwise you may need to wait 1/2 or more to get a seat @ the location in NJ city.

We came all the way from Arizona and made reservations months in advanced for my mother’s birthday. Despite the reservations, we did not get a table for a long while. This removes all the magic and class from places like these because of the lack of organization and overbooking guests who are coming to have a fine dining experience. There are plenty of nice restaurants on the waterfront in Williamsburg and lower seaport, skip this if possible

If I could give them 20 stars I would. Very few restaurants understand customer service better than The Chart House. Our Server Zane couldnt have been better. She had the right insights into the menu and visited our table with the right cadence. Jason, one of the managers was a class act, super attentive and runs a great venue. The ambiance and view is absolutely fantastic and the photo opportunities are endless. Thanks for making my girlfriends birthday special.

Beautiful place. Good food. Jason was great. It was my daughters birthday and he took excellent care of us. I wanted to give 5 stars but the host Cynthia was very rude . We reserved 4 days before but when we arrived she told us she cant give us the table. All she told us was I dont promise. The manager took over and gave us 2 table with beautiful views right away. I think a place like that needs a very professional, friendly host. Overall we had a good time

This is a beautiful place to have a nice dinner. The scenery is great to take a few pictures and the food is really good. Definitely nice for a date night or a special occasion like a birthday. The service was great and our server was spot on. I would definitely go again it’s worth the visit. I also recommend getting a reservation it does get very packed

Server was exceptionally pleasant. Appetizers were excellent. Shrimp cocktail especially good. Grilled fish did not look grilled at all, not the swordfish and not the Tuna...no grill marks. Both looked poached and I expect that was because they were sitting under a plastic dome for a while. Taste was okay. Friends steak looked very good, cooked appropriately, and he said it was good. Menus were brought for dessert but we waited almost an hour before our order was taken. It so happens we were not in a rush but an hour is excessive. That said, the food did come out quickly after the order was placed. View was exceptional hence the 4 rating.

Excellent service. Food was delicious. Service was attentive, very friendly and respectful. I would recommend a booth if possible. Some tables are in high traffic areas and you wind up getting bumped into alot. Overall a great experience with a great view of NYC.

An elegant and exquisite experience webhad yesterday as we recognized another venue to have a great time in. Their happy hour offerings are plentiful and the options are excellent. If you are coming for the spectacular view of Manhattan then you will not be disappointed either. If you are in the Weehawken or Edgewater areas, definitely give the Chart House a stop by.

So if you happen to get here for a 5pm reservation you can pretty much nail a seat at the window on the Hudson River and it’s a wonderful sight to enjoy as you dine. I’ve always said having the NYC skyline while in a setting like this is pretty much perfection. Only a short ride away from the city, and far more spacious grounds, you’ll find this place has a menu full of surprises and a stomach fully satisfied. I had to start with the Shrimp Crab Avocado & Mango Stack and it was an absolute delight. Ample parking outside as well.

Was there for an event in one of their larger rooms. The Chart house had 2 outdoor decks and an amazing view of the Hudson river. Boaters went by and it was fun to see Jet Skiers going up and down the river. The food was buffet style at this event, and tasted fantastic.

My boyfriend and I celebrated our two year anniversary here last night, and it was the most beautiful experience. Our waiter John was so accommodating and went above and beyond to make the night special! So attentive and had the best drink and entree recommendations. Also Ron at the bar makes the BEST mango mojito in the world, and was super sweet. The food was just as exceptional!!! We are big fans of the restaurant and will definitely be back.

This restaurant definitely deserves 5 stars!!! The food here was outrageous, my steak was cooked to perfection and dont get me started on the flavors out of this world!!! My drink of choice was the ultimate margherita very delicious. Scenery and view of the city was breathtaking. I highly recommend!!!

The place is amazing, the service is good. The view is perfect.The food was good but a little bit over priced. But I would pay that much for the view.

The drinks are gross. Don’t order the crushed berry mule, it’s undrinkable and the sangria is all juice. Cucumber honey zero proof was also not great, more like a soda and way too much cucumber which is a strong flavor if not used delicately, making something refreshing to pungent. Food was good and the view is great. A little weird watching a strangers wedding during dinner though and the price tag for the meal may not have been equivalent to the experience lol but the staff was very nice and I’d go back.

Ambience was great food superb and delicious.

The service was excellent, the soup was warm, the crab legs were slightly warm and the plate was hot and the fried bacon 🥓 on the potatoes was too salty! I couldn’t eat the side dish. The presentation is beautiful, but the food should be served hot !!!! The dessert was delicious and the mint tea was delicious too!

I recently had my sisters bridal shower outside on the patio and Toni and her team did a phenomenal job from start to finish even despite the strict COVID restrictions. Toni worked with me constantly communicating and checking in with me throughout the entire process. Our event was absolutely flawless! Beautiful scenery, delicious food and wonderful waitstaff

This really pains me to write this review. Weve been coming here for many years. My sister n law booked an online reservation with OpenTable months ago for a party of ten. They are coming in from Texas on the 24th of this month. She wanted to add two more guest to the list. So she called on Thursday, September 16th. The host told her the reservations can not be extended due to Covid Restrictions. Thats clearly understandable. She asked to speak with a manager.. So she asked if she can split the tables with six people per table an if possible to keep them close. The manager said NO we cant accommodate you. My sister n law said, so you and the General Manager dont mind all this money going out the door. She replied, INO they dont mind

The food was great as always. We loved the calamari, the chocolate bourbon, the pomegranate Martini and the mango rice. On the downside service was slow. It took a while for someone to take our drink order and even longer for it to come out. The weather was nice so we didnt mind too much but another table left after waiting so long for drinks.

The main advantage to Chart House is the views of the NYC skyline. The food has improved over the years. There are two banquet halls for larger parties. Food is a little pricey and I would have not recommended it years ago but it is better quality now and reasonable given the view.Parking can be a major problem as free parking is shared with people utilizing the surrounding park. There is Valet parking which is your best bet and costs $10.With the improvement of food quality I would say Chart House is a definite try at least once especially for the pretty NYC skyline view. If you like Landry restaurants like Chart House, consider the $35 lifetime membership for the Landry Select Club that gives you a ton of reservation options for any Landry restaurant.

The moment I walked in, I was in love with the scene. The staff was polite, the crab cake was superb. Along with the main entrées and the drinks were excellent. Great service, fine dining, great scenery.

I did not take pics because it was a super rainy day and it kinda dampened my mood but I still think that dining in the evening is the best option.
