Great place to live. They have a wonderful staff and Close to all the best food. I have worked with Justin Yoon for all of my needs and he is great and easy to work with. The views are beautiful with large windows and a restaurant right downstairs. Having the train station across the street, it’s easy to travel anywhere. I would suggest the Radian to anyone who is looking to live in the city!
I’ve lived in the radian for 7 months now and i can say that is a great Community, the apartments are very spacious. The common areas are very confortable and they are always clean. About the management and the leasing office they do a great work and they are always available to help! Really recommend it if you are looking for a place to live! The radian is very close to the commons and only 1 block away from the financial district and Chinatown.
Everything was great while we are moving in, the views are great, the rooms are clean and tidy, great experience overall!Except for little scratches and oil painting leaks will appear on some places, everything was fine. We enjoy living here so far!
My partner and I moved in in July and it’s such a positive experience. For the unit itself we love the views and layout. The staff has been very friendly and responsive to all requests from the concierge, to the management and maintenance. Would recommend the Radian based on location, amenities and staff.
My wife and I moved in in February and we can’t complain. At the management office Justin Yoon has always been extremely helpful in any request! If you plan a visit I recommend you ask for him.
I just moved into a 1BR apartment at Radian. It was SUCH a pleasure working with Elizabeth from the leasing office as she made sure everything was good to go for my move-in day. She was very knowledgeable, kind and pleasant to work with! During my move-in, the concierge, James, made me feel as if I was home with his warm hospitality. My apartment was in immaculate condition (besides a few scratches from normal wear & tear) and has an astonishing view especially at night! I have a car, but I barely use it since everything is within walking distance. If you are looking for a high-end luxury apartment with great staff, amenities and convenient location, Radian just might be the home for you.
Hard to recommend unless space is your priority over all else. Dollar for dollar, the units tend to be slightly larger than others in Chinatowm/Theater area. Its the human side that falls short; while the concierge is great, all other aspects are subpar. The leasing experience, the maintenance experience, and the management experience all leave a lot to be desired.Make sure you shop other managed buildings in the same area and pay close attention to what is important to you. If service is high on the list I suggest you keep looking. Radian has a lot of ground to cover on this front.
I had a smooth easy experience with the moving in I would like to thank Justin with his patience and caring giving us the best service we are happy with the apartment and also friendly staff at reception thank youFor all your cooperation
Radian is a good place to stay and Justin is a wonderful young man to work with. Very helpful, polite and full of passion of what he is doing.
We have had a number of issues since moving in last July and both the maintenance and management teams are completely incompetent. When we first moved in there was an issue with the master bathroom toilet and my roommate’s room smelled of sewage for over a month before the maintenance team finally realized that the toilet needed to be replaced. Then our washing machine started smoking and almost caught fire while doing laundry, a whole load of clothes was ruined and management made it out to be a huge inconvenience on our part. Throughout our stay the concierge continues to leave both of the locked doors wide open throughout the day and sometimes as late as 10pm resulting in little to no security as anyone can enter the building. I park in the garage which is only to be accessed by residents and they left the garage door wide open for 2 weeks and I had an encounter with a random person who parked there and claimed to think it was public parking. There was zero communication from management about a repair or any reason why the door would be left open for such an extended period of time, and again results in compromised security. Finally, we had an issue this past weekend where our fire alarms were past warranty and became faulty and were going off sporadically. There is supposedly 24/7 maintenance for the building but we contacted them at 8pm and heard nothing. They continued to go off and no one was answering the number that is provided to us so we were forced to call the fire department. They came and confirmed that the alarm was faulty and needed to be fully replaced immediately and confirmed that the building was responsible for sending someone out right away (this was at 1am). No one answered the phone no matter how many times we called and we were forced to listen to the alarms all night resulting in a sleepless night. The next morning we contacted management to have someone sent up right away at 8am and they told us the maintenance workers had just arrived and would be up in a minute because our issue was top priority. They didn’t show up until 10am, 2 hours later. Everyone we have brought these issues to has been very rude and refuses to hear us out. They have twisted the situations to make it seem like we are making a big deal out of nothing. They told us that the fire alarm issue was simply a matter of changing batteries after they came in and installed a new unit AND the fire department confirmed that the whole smoke detector needed to be replaced. This has been by far the worst experience and every person who works for this building and management company has no concern for the residents. They simply collect their checks and cannot be bothered to handle any issue large or small. Whatever you do, do not move here. With so many other buildings in the same price range in this area I would recommend taking your business anywhere else.
Ive lived downtown for 3 years and decided to explore my options after the third given the relative plethora of vacancies in Q4 2020. I decided to give Radian a shot despite my qualms after having read a string of negative reviews. I went ahead and toured, decided on a unit and put in an application that very day which was then approved. I had a follow up question stemming from the conversation I had with the leasing consultant (Mabel) regarding the lease start date but I was ignored. I called her several times, emailed her directly and sent another email to her inbox, this time with the leasing office group mailbox CCd for good measure but to no avail. Ive never experienced such unresponsiveness and this is exactly what the reviews warned about. I thought that maybe those were isolated cases but I was wrong. If that is the way prospective tenants are treated, I can only imagine what it must be like to be a resident. After a few days, I managed to get a hold of Mabel via telephone but at that point, I had already cancelled everything out of band and was just calling to confirm. Mabel, unsurprisingly, didnt seem like she cared. Suffice to say, I ended up renting at another building further up the street and the whole process went smoothly and professionalism was exhibited throughout. Lesson learned - Do not ignore reviews.
Unprofessional, avoid. Plenty of nicer buildings around with professional staff.
By far the best place we have lived since moving to Boston. We did two other large buildings (315 on A and One Canal) - and a smaller building (the Lofts @ 49 Melcher). And Radian is by far the best for us.The location is absolutely perfect - with access to the orange, red, green and silver lines as well as the commuter rail and Amtrak. Logan isnt far either, making travel quite easy. The central location makes it easy to walk to so many parts of greater Boston as well. The proximity and access to so many great restaurants, a grocery store, and multiple drug stores is a huge plus. I almost forgot how amazing it was to have a grocery store within a few minute walk.Since Im often the service police, Ive been impressed with the staff. From the office staff (Thea, Monica and Mabel are all quite awesome) to the concierge and maintenance teams, I cannot complain. Some people may complain about the lack of amenities but I think its just perfect. A gym, a common area with conference room, well kept lobby, and package storage and concierge access (safety) is what resonates most with me. I am simply not someone who needs a pool or numerous meeting spaces/party areas.I love how quiet the building is - and how the residents seem to be quite respectful of one another (unlike some buildings, the party vibe is not pouring out into the hallways). Given in one of our last buildings - and on a secure floor no less - we had random guests just walk into our apartment (and on more than one occasion) - this is a big deal to me.I feel like its a good value as compared to a lot of other buildings in the area. Highly recommended. Keep up the great work!!!!
I have lived here for almost a year, and have loved it. Kind staff, immaculate facilities, and great location.
I got the worst leasing experience from them. I had never met such an unreliable and unresponsive leasing office. Calls are rarely answered and emails are replied after several days or even longer. The leasing office is inefficient which made the application process take more than a month.
Unprofessional management.
