Had a lovely meal with excellent service and very friendly staff who really looked after myself and my mother this evening having searched for a restaurant catering for my vegetarian mum and a menu that could accommodate me not wanting to eat carbs/sugar due to diabetes. There is a lovely extensive menu which unfortunately I could not try but something for everyone. Thank you for looking after mum and your kindness, Michael and the team. I thoroughly recommend this restaurant and we will return.

Unfortunately it was really quiet, possibly because it was a Sunday night. That aside, the food was great and the staff were really pleasant and came over for a chat which was lovely. Would definitely recommend it if youre in the area.

Got takeaway tonight for five people. Pre-ordered in advance. When collecting the restaurant was very busy and I had to wait a few minutes extra. However the staff were wonderful and gave me a complimentary beer.The food was fantastic. Honestly. Every morsel was eaten and I have two very fussy daughters. Best Indian food I have ever ordered in the Bognor Regis area. Totally recommend. I will be back and will recommend to family and friends.Well done and thank you!

Great food. Restaurant was very busy but the staff accommodated it with free starters and drinks to go.We had three of the fish currys which were fab.Chicken Kanataka which would have again.Wish they had one near us. Will come back when next in Bognor.

When first opened food was good but now very poor. Delivery service shocking !! They didnt deliver a good half of my order and when I phoned they took there time to resolve.OVER PRICED ASWELL !

Ive been meaning to come here for awhile since So India first opened and was worth it. Never eaten Ostrich Bazaar before and you will get a complimentary Baileys afterwards. Definitely will go back again. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Food was pretty good considering I don’t like Indian food usually. The service was amazing aswell.

So close to a review rating of four. Just fell short because one waiter thought that we had ordered our mains and so did another so we sat for over thirty minutes waiting just for menus.That said the chicken korma was tasty and cooked just right, the portion very ample and very well presented. My lamb shaslik masala was probably one of the nicest, if not the nicest that I have had. The lamb was beautifully tender, the sauce wonderfully spiced and seasoned. Our mushroom rice was light, not heavy, and was serving nice and hot. Our mains were accompanied by a garlic naan and a keema naan - both served just right. Some say that its impossible to get naan breads wrong, but thats not the case. They can be burnt, dried up or in the case of a keema naan the meat can be all dropped to one side, not so at So India. Just right.The drinks werent overly expensive either. I had the mandatory pint or two of cobra whilst my wife had a very generous (really generous) glass or two of gin.The service was good, the staff were very friendly and Im sure that the little confusion after we were seated was probably due to how busy the restaurant was. It is very popular indeed, the food was very good and the atmosphere was good too. No rowdy yobs here, as sometimes you find in some curry houses. This was a true restaurant, not a takeaway selling meals in a cramped space. The restaurant was nicely spaced out, the tables werent right on top of each other.Theres also plenty of parking. The restaurant is easy to find on the main road on the outskirts of the village. We walked from our B&B in the centre, no more than twenty to twenty five minutes. The restaurant is well worth a visit, so close to a four - maybe next time 🍴4⃣

Just used So India for the very first time, all food was delicious very impressed with the flavours, the service from ordering to delivery was a really good experience. Very impressed highly recommend.

I have dined in at So India on a number of occasions and had a great time and enjoyable meals. This review is for their takeaway service, essential due to covid-19. We ordered a family meal for 6:30pm through Just Eat. The restaurant emailed us to say the food would be delivered for 7pm, however it arrived at 5:35! An hour before our preferred delivery time, and an hour and a half before they said it would be with us! Thankfully we were in and werent expecting guests, so we reluctantly accepted the delivery with a comment to the delivery guy that it was very early and to pass a message on to the owners. Unfortunately, my gripe doesnt end there though. Despite the restaurant being located only about a km from my house the food was only luke-warm, so had to be microwaved before we could eat it. Additionally the chicken madras on the order was seriously tame for what is usually a fairly hot spiced dish, it was no hotter than my childrens chicken tikka masala. 😭. I hate complaining, and rarely find cause to, but the compounded situation resulted in a spoiled eating experience. Whilst I love the restaurant and want to support local businesses, Im unlikely to order takeaway from them again. So...sorry, So-India!

Absolutely gorgeous food, delivered to a caravan (without a number) in a field! They should do lessons. I would definitely pay to learn how to make that garlic chilli chicken. The onion bhajis were out of this world and the korma my daughter had was delicate and just sweet enough. The shashlik king prawns were also amazing! Recommend all day long.

Its the first time we have had food from this restaurant so while in lockdown and a birthday in the house thought it was a good opportunity to try, and we werent disappointed. Delivered to the door with a friendly smile and the quality was superb and plenty of it. Thanks

Food is good, but if you are having it delivered, order early..... yet again, let down by poor unorganised service.....ordered at 5pm for 7pm, sat here still waiting at 7.45pm.....called in twice. Its on its way....just arrived...

Food is amazing. Papadam spicy is excellent. The food is hot (temperature), well prepared, and well seasoned. Visiting from Boston, USA and this is as good or better than high end Indian restaurants there. Highly recommend. Will be returning while here.

Food was amazing but 4 bits of lamb for the whole dish is a bit ridiculous for the price that we paid. Also only 5 prawns to the prawn dishes. I get rationing in a time like this but you need to adjust prices so people arent paying more than its worth

We have takeaways regularly from So India and always enjoy them but tonight we decided to eat in as it was our anniversary. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and is very clean. The staff are attentive, efficient, polite and friendly as is the owner.The menu caters for everyones taste and I decided to stray from my usual default choice of chicken dhansak and tried the Rugby players Korma. Korma with a definite kick! I thoroughly enjoyed it along with all the other dishes we ordered. We had a lovely time and left with very full tummies and smiles on our faces. Most definitely recommend So India and look forward to our next visit.

Popped in here for dinner at the last minute while driving by. Had to wait a little while for a table, but to be expected as a busy Saturday night and hadn’t booked.Food was really good, even for a fussy vegetarian! Large portions of curry.Staff where helpful and friendly, even gave my nephew a free ice cream. Would definitely go back again and recommend to others.

Great suprise. Flavoursome well cooked and presented food that has authenticity about it. The Onion Baji starter cooked to perfection. Friendly, generous family run restaurant. Excellent service / value for money.

The food was full of flavour and there was a very wide range of food to choice from. We had a table hidden in the corner which was lovely and quiet. The service was good but the car park was fairly small and we did struggle to park. Overall a great night out.

Thoroughly enjoyed meal of chicken Madras, Palau rice and gorgeous naan bread. Very cosy, best to book, reasonable prices, but limited parking. Clean toilets, do takeaways limited choice on wines, but very nice. Lovely atmosphere. Will definitely go there again.

We visited so India last night for a friends birthday. Have visited several times before but the food and service never fails. Tonight we had the Monday banquet which includes a starter, rice, main and naan each and a side between two all for 13 pounds! This includes any item on the menu so is phenomenal value for money.Staff members were very accommodating, even with our large and indecisive group! Couldnt have asked for more!We told the servers that it was a friends birthday and they arranged a cake and a mini bottle of prosecco for her too! Fantastic service.

Went tonight for birthday celebration as we had been a few weeka ago and it was good . Sadly this was not the case toniggt. Meals ie mains came out in drips and drabs had to ask for the rice twice then that was wrong everything by now really cold. Hubbie didntt eat his at all complained butwas told we dont know how this happened i do they obviously didnt think serving a party of 8 was very important becasuse of the delay in getting the ordee i would say other tables were being served and we were put on the back burner so to speak thisresulted in my evening being ruined and hubbie and spn getting very angry. I was embrassed for my guests. Dont think will return

Went last night with our friends and had a wonderful evening, the staff we’re very friendly, polite and most importantly very warmly welcoming, we had an array of dishes from the menu, I would recommend this restaurant a visit.

Been here three times now, service is terrible if they are busy but good if quieter. Food is nice but my only issue on all occassions is that the meat in the curry never seems to have been marinated like real indian food. Chicken looked like it had been cooked and then thrown in with the sauce. Other people I know have said the same.

Fantastic food and service.

On a recent visit the tandoori chicken was not freshly cooked and when we did get it either on its own or within a dish it was dry and over cooked.Onion Bhajis were pre cooked and served dry and tasteless and when pointed out to the management they came back with another portion from the same batch,my guess is they were pre-cooked and then warmed in the oven as there was clearly no sign of oil on themThe Restaurant is in need of an experienced bar tender, 4 drinks were ordered and 3 were wrong,no idea about what glasses should be used or indeed what they are serving this happens so many times and it then spoils peoples evening and in our case we just got up and walked out.The food over all is average,although the guys try hard service can be a little bit of a hit and miss and chaotic maybe they should spend less time trying to be friends with everyone and concentrate on Service.
