Room is big, clean, awesome...hotel ambience is awesome.... Very polite, helpful and well mannered staff... Very good food and room service......In middle of market...bodhi tree is very near and all other budhhist temples are very near...I really recommend this hotel for stay in Bodhgaya....Even they gave us early check-in before actual checkin time....since our train was very early in morning that was the best part.

We booked Room in which complementary breakfast was included. Room was very good but when I went to have breakfast trust me behaviour of restaurant staff changed when they came to know that breakfast is complimentary. They served us used butter and service was pathetic. I dont recommend this hotel.

Very clean and great servicesI visited last month and it was great experience of hospitality experienced.Very near to town and temples.Delicious food by chef and Nice service by restaurant team.Professional staff and prompt front desk people .The owner of the hotel (Mr. Suresh Prasad) is very nice and kind heated person. Stayed for one night only. There were not much guest in the hotel as visiters are away due Covid. it is in center of city and located between Giant Budha and Mahabodhi temple. Japanese temple is near to this hotel

There was NO hot water coming in the bathroom. I requested bucket of hot water for my old parents, 3 TIMES. They finally brought after 2 HRS. Is this really 4-star hotel?

Beautifull moments

It was a very pleasant stay at bodhgaya Regency Hotel. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The staff were extremely polite and cooperative, especially the receptionist Mr Amar Verma. In my view a receptionist makes the first impression of any organisation, and he possibly made the best one with his politeness and quick service.The hotels lobby is decorated with beautiful paintings portraying Gautam Buddhas life.Overall it was an amazing stay mostly due to the staff cooperation, instant service and which is missing in most hotels.Looking forward to visit again. Thanx for the experience. 😊

Wonderful and luxujaris hotel

At 1st floor rooms were not maintained properly.

Stayed in this hotel last month I.e Dec’2019 with family (12 members). It was a pleasant stay, rooms are well maintained & spacious, clean bedding, spacious bathroom too. Opted for buffet Breakfast and Dinner which was also very good. Reasonable rooms rate and some of the important tourist places are very close by like great Buddha statue, Japanese temple, Mahbodhi temple also not too far. If revisited definitely choose to stay there again 😊.

The room are modern and comfortable. The location is perfect within walking distance to all the great temples. Highly recommended to both business, travellers and couple. One of the best hotel in the town (Bodhgaya).And most important The owner of the Hotel (Mr. Suresh Prasad)is very nice, kind hearted and honest person.As he is a locality.He have very good knowledge of Buddhist sector.As well as he know Japanese language too. Stayed here for the third time in July. Very nice room, clean! Food was wonderful. Service was great. Consistently. Dhiru Singh at the front desk was very helpful. Looking forward to returning.

Hygiene hotel proper senitize

Room is big but furniture is shabby and dusty. Cleanliness is woeful. Toilet is much below average. To top it all there is construction work in progress in the vicinity, raising a lot of ruckus even at 7.00 p.m. Staff is helpful. All in all below average.

Hotel is well maintained all main Bhuddha temples are in close by , room size is pretty big , staff is cordial , check in and check out is very fast , the only short comings I observed in the buffet breakfast as items are limited and they had same menu all the three days , further in ala cart menu maximum vegetables are of paneer in different form however restuarant staff was highly caring specially Mr Anil Kumar who served us was always smiling and gave us fantastic service

Which includes transport, different kind of dishes of food, exchange currency etc..They room are huge big and its very clean..The WiFi in the room are quite good but in lobby its very fast..Staff are nice and corporate. .This hotel is close to MahaBodhi Temple and 80 feet statue. .I could see from my room..

Bodhgaya Regency Hotel is great place to stay in Bodhgaya. Hotel location is just perfect near Japanese Temple from where you can go to any temples in couple of minutes.Shyam, GM managed cab to visit Dungri cave and Rajgrih at a very reasonable price.Hotel is new and has large lovely rooms elegantly furnished bathroom attached with lots of toiletries.We were in a group of 17 persons and hotel management made our trip excellent.food at ground floor restaurant Amrapali were superb.

Very good hotel excellent service huge rooms

HOT WATER NOT AVAILABLE and very low water pressure. I paid about Rs. 6000 per night to this Fake 4-star Bodhgaya Regency Hotel through OYO. I complained to hotel more than 10 times during my 3 nights stay. They sent many different staff to my room for check hot water. What check hot water is, turn on all taps in the bathroom and wait 5-10 min with discharging water. This didnt solve a problem, of course. They simply ruined my trip which was supposed to be great one.Morning of the second day, I complained to OYO as well. They promised me that they will send a hotel owner to my room within 15 min. But, hotel sent another guy after 30 min and said check hot water. This is how OYO and Bodhgaya Regency Hotel make fool on guests.Night of the second day was terrible. I did check hot wafer 2 times with different staff. Finally asked them to bring a bucket of hot water, at least. They didnt do that, sent another guy (he also said check hot water when I open the door) and disturbed my stay again and again. They didnt appreciate my kind compromise. I wasted my time from 8:50 pm, got A BUCKET of hot water at 10:15 pm.My 63 years old mom, 68 years old dad and I took a shower and washed our hair by water which can be felt slightly warmer than normal tap water, in that cold place Bodhgaya. Moreover, in the end of December.Night of the third day, I told OYO that they must go for the process of a refund. Soon a hotel staff called me, said I received a full refund already because I have booked and canceled before. Yes, once I changed my mind, but again booked and paid after that. He doesnt understand such a simple condition. I had to use my precious time with my parents for talking to this stupid guy.And OYO, they asked me my booking ID every time I complained. They changed many staff who take care of this issue and piss me off just like hotel did. The one of OYO staff, she marked Resolved to my complaint, even we didnt see any solution.During my stay, just before checking out, and until now, I have kept asking them how they take responsibility, not to mention, requesting a full refund. I cant hear anything from them. Just now I tried to contact OYO again. Another staff said he cant do anything because I already checked out. How stupid they are.OYO says they guarantee those services AC, TV, WiFi, Breakfast, Clean room etc. What else? Hot water excluded. I forgot that, I couldnt use WiFi too, signal was too weak.Dont stay here.

Front desk staff are incapable, inefficient and basically hopeless for any need of customers. They were unable to demonstrate any good customer service.
