You dont have to like Indian food or even have ever tried Indian food to love this restaurant.The only place around that feels like homemade perfection- even during take out!Indian hot if you love spice- medium if you just like spice but dont want to feel like you may not be able to eat it.God Bless you all in the Name of Jesus.

First time there. Enjoyed the food. Never tried India food before. Was yummy. Services was good. Love how the we were able to try different items. Cost was fair. Plan on going back.

Indian food is my favorite cuisine. 😋 This place has a large menu and will prepare your dish to your specifications. My son gets his food Indian hot, whereas I like mine toned down a bit. We have gotten large orders from here a handful of times for birthday celebrations, and everything was prepared correctly and in a timely fashion. One of my top five favorite places in the area to eat.

Amazing food, all stars. The first day the service was late but food was awesome. On the second night, the service was awesome as well. We were in a group of 12 and tasted a lot of dishes- absolutely finger licking stuff

This place is amazing. All of their food is good, we got three different dishes and samosas and everything was equally as good. All of our food was bursting with flavor, and the naan was insanely good. Do yourself a favor and order extra naan. I do wish they had a kids size butter chicken meal or something but we ordered a regular size one for our 2 year old and she happily ate it for lunch over the next few days.

I got the Chicken Tika Marsala but I mistakenly got it mild so it lacked a lot of flavor. I also got the Naan garlic bread which was delicious. I do think this is good food but I will be more impressed once I try a more spicier option.

I ordered Matar Paneer, hot - to my surprise it wasn’t spicy at all, but was incredibly bland and watered down. Also, the paneer chunks were large and tough for some reason?They gave me a rather weak amount of rice as well; I guess that doesn’t matter though because that had no taste either (gasp).In short: I’ve had experiences with ghosts that had more flavor than what I had here. Go here or don’t, ya like what ya like! I’m just giving my two cents.

We ordered a variety of items and the food was really delicious. The chicken kadhai and the chilly paneer were very flavourful. The desserts were also quite good and I recommend the Gajar Halwa which is a dessert made from carrots.

Humm, Im at a loss.This location has a decent buffet with the standard Indian choices for a lunch buffet and at a reasonable price and the staff is MORE than accommodating. NOW, that being said, we have two Indian restaurants/lunch buffets here: this local and Bombay Curry & Grill in Niles and Bombay Curry BLOWS this place out of the water in the way of flavors, seasonings and even presentation to some degree.The issue here, to us, are this:1) the flavors are so weak, you hardly feel you are eating ethnic Indian food. Even the chutneys are weak, which is really odd. The Chicken Tikka and Curry chicken were really a let down, the flavors were so weak or not even apparent.AND2) the temps on the buffet are FAR too low to make the food enjoyable. Now, I know you cant have high temps at a buffet if the food isnt moving fast enough and I understand that since you dont want the food to continue cooking BUT barely warm food does not make for a good dining experience.Ill say this, IF you have NOTHING to compare this local too, you probably wont notice what I did. A layman would surely enjoy all the different styles, presentations and flavors but someone like me that LIVES on ethnic food, this experience leaves me wanting and unsatisfied.Go on, give em a try. See what you think THEN try Bombay Curry in Niles on 422 and then you tell me. This location is not bad mind you, just not what Im use to in the way of FULL flavors!

Fabulous sauces and perfectly cooked, wonderfully tender meats. Rice and naan are also excellent.

The restaurant is clean. The workers are polite. The food? Its amazing. I could eat their samosas every day of my life and never get tired of them. In my opinion, theyre the most fresh tasting out of most that Ive tried in this area. The same can be said for their briyani.I read a review on google from someone saying the food didnt taste authentic. Disregard that review, because it tasted just as spicy and authentic as food in India. My partner, who was born and raised in India, says the same.10/10 Have already recommended it to my family.

Having lived in Boston and San Francisco, we have been to many Indian restaurants. Cafe India Boardman is a rare find. The Nepali influence is very notable. Looking at the restaurant, the blue fairy lights and the lacy curtains in the window, the incredibly delicious aroma greets you, along with the friendly and welcoming staff. We ordered chicken tikka masala, cauliflower manchurian, dahl makhani, dahl soup, and it was beyond excellent. The restaurant is very clean and the restrooms are exceptionally clean with an automatic soap dispenser and paper towel, and a room refreshioner. The chef himself comes out to greet you and ask how is the food. Quite amazing, we feel like royalty when we go there.

Just pathetic Customer Service. I was in the town for an official visit. Went to this place around 8PM and in the entire seating area only one table was occupied. The guy was giving me a small table in the corner side. Instead, I asked him for a booth as it was pretty much empty. He declined my request and said we cant give you a booth saying if 4 people come to eat then we will not be able serve them. I should have just left here. Instead after a long day, I just sticked to stay here and eat something. I ordered samosa, fried rice, and manchuria. After 10 mins that occupied table was also empty, so I was the only one who is dining there. It took forever for them to get back to me. They got papad along with samosas after 45 mins. Papad was not crispy. The fried rice was not at all Indo-Chinese. It tasted exactly like the ones in Chinese Restaurants. Only difference is that they charged twice here.

I am so pleased with this restaurant. I have been in large cities before and not had as good quality food as Cafe India has. The food was fresh and hot and ready on time. The taste was deep and rich and the level of spiciness was absolutely on par with what I asked for. I will be frequenting this place for sure. Im so happy to have then in the Boardman area!!!

Ordered food to go first time, butter chicken, fried rice no veggies , chicken curry, Garlic naan, and butter Naan. Best Indian food I have ever had compared to San Jose/San Fran! Reasonably priced.

OMG! SO GOOD!!! Butter Chicken was amazing, tender chicken and very flavorful thick sauce. Lamb Korma also amazing, Very tender lamb (no bones) the sauce was so complex and complete flavor, i put it on rice, naan and cream cheese kulcha. Fish curry was great as well. Mango lassi the best ive had before. Ate there in person for lunch, not a single other customer there. Amazing food, great attentive service. Fast Service. I cant wait to go back.

When you close your eyes and hear the intricate music and smell the complex spices in the air you are transported to India. With each bite I couldnt help but shed a tear of joy. All I can think is SUPER!!! Omg the cream cheese kulcha was so amazing, beyond words. The mixed tandoori grill was very good. Mango Lassi was perfect. Mixed apps was awesome. Best mint chutney and tamarind sauce Ive had before. The waitress was extremely nice.

After the first time trying it we came back 4 out of the next 5 working days. The food is full of flavor. And the buffet is amazing. Would definitely recommend.

We got here right at closing time but they never made us feel rushed. There was still an ample selection on the buffet and my wife and I were satisfied when we left. Like most Indian restaurants serving Americans the food was not overly spicy but very flavorful. The staff was courteous and did a great job of making sure we always had a full drink.

They are such a rude and Lazy. I ordered a food I paid full prise when I open up my food box was half. When I called them they said they can’t do anything. Don’t go to that shitty restaurant.

So yummy food was great, people are friendly, its a nice exotic place to add to youngstown. The buffet is super good and worth every penny. Sometimes they make something a little speacial like this mango drink.

Ordered chicken masala and my food was half burnt, the chef came and claimed it wasn’t his fault because it’s “take out chicken”. When they delivered the bill with nothing reduced the owner came out and claimed we needed to pay full price because I “ate half my food.” After waiting for 40 minutes I ate the sauce over rice. He yelled at both me and my boyfriend and refused to make us happy at all. Never again will I go there.

This place is awesome. The food is fresh and well prepared and the service excellent. It is a nice alternative to the many chain restaurants in the Boardman Canfield Poland area.

Worth it but do not be fooled by how spicy Indian Spice level really is! They have a lunch buffet special for 10 dollars which has a good variety and lots of vegetarian dishes. Samosas are great! Owned by Nepali gentleman who is very kind.

Great tasting food and affordable. We are vegetarian so there was some good options for us. The yellow lentil soup was devine and the vegetable fritters appetizer (forgot what its called) was so delicious! Cant wait to return to try out the lunch buffet. Nice friendly service as well.

If you like your food hot, meaning spicy, then this is the place. I Just discovered Indian food recently and I really enjoy this place. Small, intimate atmosphere with good food and clean tables.

They have a pretty decent Indian buffet with decent prices and friendly service. Also, we know were eating chicken and not cat because the chicken actually shreds at this Indian restaurant. I wouldnt eat it before because it I knew it wasnt chicken when it just cut without shredding and the meat was pure white inside. It made me nauseous. Thank God for the new management and owners.

The food here is cooked to order and tastes amazing. Very authentic and the spices are flavorful, the food can be mild medium or Indian hot and it is a great experience every time I try something new. Occasionally they have a buffet which is also filled with many choices.

I had not had Indian cuisine in a long time. The service was lovely. The young man that greets you at the door is very nice; I didnt get his name. He served warm, fresh bread called naan. The buffet is about $9, for all you can eat which is perfect! You get samosas, rice, lentils, chick peas, chicken, and more! Theres a lot of food. Shakes, desserts, tea, etc. The eating environment is nice and the server Stephanie offered good conversation. They also offer carry out and delivery. A must try!

Really enjoyed Cafe India. We went in for lunch and to our surprise they had a lunch buffet set up. The food was great in the buffet and it also had a variety of drinks/teas as well. The buffet had a lot of vegetarian options as well as chicken items. Will definitely be going back!

Just in town on a sales trip. Always love Indian food found this place on Google Maps. Anyways ordered my food to go chicken curry naan bread was super delicious. Everyone I dealt with on the phone and when picking up order was very nice. Will definitely eat here again next time Im in town my chicken curry was better than most restaurants in this region.

Food was okay. Service was terrible. The lady serving us was incredibly rude. When we asked if we could sit down she replied very aggressively, Im not ready for you!! When I asked if I could pay the bill, she replied, No, Ill bring it to you! Ill lose it over here! A little bit of common courtesy goes a long way, especially in the food service industry. Will not return simply because of this fact. The lady was stressing. Add another waitress to assist and do some basic customer service training.

The food in the lunch buffet was very impressive. Hot, flavorful and delicious. We are die-hard Indian restaurant foodies, and stop at all Indian restaurants weve encountered throughout the U.S., and this was a shinning star! Were so happy that this location is a reasonable 30-min drive from our house. Great value on the pricing, friendly staff. The Naan bread was wonderful. Best yet was that we were introduced to a few new dishes, which is unusual for us. If youve never had Indian food, this is a great place to get an introduction.

Excellent food. Have only ever had takeout so my only qualm is that its regularly twice as long than they tell you your food is ready. Example: they tell me 20 minutes so I get there in 20 minutes and quite frequently end up sitting there waiting another 10-20 minutes.Tikka masala, papri chaat and naan are our regular go-tos.

I did not expect to find an Indian restaurant when I checked into North Lima hotel. We went for dinner. Food was delicious. They also gave papadum at start along with tamarind chutney, coriander chutney and sweet and spicy onion. Service was good.

I have been a lover of Indian food for several years, but I’m not from the area so this was my first time here. After the first bite, all I could say was “wow!” The chicken tikka masala was amazing! The service was awesome! I will no doubt be returning again and again.

I go here often, and the food is always fresh and flavorful. The lunchtime buffet is a great value with7-10 dishes available, plus delicious naan and a variety of chutneys and pickles. One of my favorite lunch places in boardman.

Recently this location underwent a name change. Not quite sure why as it is still the same staff there and the food is the same. The lunch buffet use to be a passable option for Indian in the area but the daily offerings were reduced and if there is any actual business things are slow to get refilled. Ordering off the menu might be better.
