Great thai dishes. A bit dissapointed with the sizzling pork rib. I expect it to be still sizzling when it is served and the ribs are not equality hot. Some are a bit cold.

Amazing! Delicious high quality food. Honestly, I feel like it’s better than Millbrae California Thai food. We ordered the drunken noodle dish with tofu and the papaya salad. Both were amazing.

Siam house was great! We started with the salad rolls which were served with two sauces, the peanut one was great on the rolls. The Tom Yum soup had lots of veggies and chicken in it and the broth was tasty as well. The chicken pad Thai had an excellent flavor, I loved the cooked bean sprouts that were mixed with the noodles. The panang curry was good as well but I would have liked to see some other veggies besides just peppers. This place had lots of gluten free options which were great for my sister who has Celiac, she was able to eat everything we ordered so it was amazing!

The vibe and decor here is immaculate, the dishes looked appealing, but the flavor itself really fell short for me. The cashew chicken tasted like the sauce had just been poured over the bare ingredients. The only flavor was in the sauce itself. The drunken noodles had good flavor, but the chicken in both dishes was of questionable quality. It kinda smelled like it was chicken left over from last week. It wasn’t the worst meal I ever had, but I was overwhelmingly disappointed. There is a lot of competition in the international food market in Bloomington, so I’d be interested to try some of the other local places for comparison.

Service was somewhat rude, as if our presence with a baby in the restaurant was a big inconvenient. Waiter was looking straight at us while speaking a foreign language with his colleague, making us feel very uncomfortable. Food was OK, but definitely nothing extraordinary. And prices were much steeper than we usually pay, my dish (green curry) had maybe 3-4 small pieces of chicken, it looked like and extremely overpriced spicy pea soup.

Very tasty Thai and Thai-inspired food. Large menu selection. Portion sizes are large. I had the chicken Pad Thai medium spice. Large slices of chicken and the sauce was very good (not too sweet). Id try hot spiciness next time.

I have had this place a few times. Each time I go there it reminds me of why Im always skeptical about eating there. This time was the worst. Im not sure if it has to do with the fact that the employees keep coming in and out while serving the customers outside but there was a disgusting amount of flies in the dining area indoors. Also my food tasted funky, kind of like when chicken gets a little old or the plate that the food is on was washed with dirty water. The service was great which is why I didnt give them one star. For the price I definitely expect a lot more out of my dishes.

I had a wonderful time at Siam House! First, ask for Claret, shes an amazing top-notch waitress! When you first walk in youll experience a well heated area, especially helpful during the Winter time. I was then immediately greeted by the staff and seated. The menu option was better than most restaurants Ive been to because of the picture diagram relating to almost all meals. Im a big eater so Im always hesitant to try new meals, but boy was my fear quenched! The meals are huge here. The atmosphere is great and the local/crowd added to the positive environment. I highly recommend Siam House to those who enjoys ethnic cuisines or is curious about trying something new. Enjoy!

It had been a few years since Id had a chance to revisit this place and imediately after my arrived I had to ask myself why. The Spicy Basil with chicken (spice level hot) was just well prepared, flavorful and delicious as I remembered it. My sole complaint, which is more of a minor disappointment, is that they no longer serve the jasmine rice in the tin samavors. That said, they have made some EXCEPTIONAL improvements to the decor. Service wise we could not have asked for any better. Our waiter was attentive without hovering and left us to enjoy our food. Overall, its safe to say Im putting Siam House back on my list of regulars!

Saucy, sauce on more sauce. This hiuse on the corner knows how to serve up flavor. Im giving them 5 stars even though our waiter disappears for 45 min. Thats how good the food was. I bet he was munching on the Pad Thai in the back because you cant get enough of this stuff. Get the drunked noodles but low ball the spice level. A 2 was plenty hot.

Siam House is one of the many local jewels on 4th Street. The ambiance is perfect for date night, and it doubles as a great place to gather with friends. Whether ordering from Mr. Delivery or dinning on-site, the food is always delicious. Some of our favorite menu items include: Pineapple Fried Rice, Sweet Thai Iced Tea, Pad Thai, and Yellow Curry.

Yummy Thai food! They have a buffet now until 3pm with most of my favorites like pad thai, red curry, mussaman curry and pad see ew. They also had their salad rolls, spring rolls, crab rangoon and vegetable tempura. I was sad to see their sticky rice was not available as a dessert, instead there were small squares of cheesecake. They also had two soups which I didnt try.All of it was pretty darn good and for $9.99 it is a steal! I did end up ordering the mango with sticky rice off of the menu because I really wanted it and just thought it was average. Ill definitely be back for that buffet and the Thai iced tea though!

This was the worst Pad See Ew I’ve ever had in my life. Basically ate a bunch of unseasoned noodles with some vegetables. There was no taste of sweetness to it. I would think since this was more expensive than regular Pad See Ew that it would taste at least decent. Not coming here again. My friend also hated his food. Said the tofu was too hard and tasted old. He did however like his tea that you probably bought from the local gas station.

I’ve been going here for about six years now and the food is the best Thai I’ve tried in the US. I have lived in Chicago, been to New York and the west coast multiple times and it still doesn’t compare. Every time I come back to Bloomington, I order the Thai Spring Rolls and the Pad Kee Mao (Drunken Noodles). Both delicious and I couldn’t get tired of either.

Review №98

I personally loved my food. I got the Crab Fried Rice, and it was very tasty. There was a huge crowd at the door that was all kind of bunched together, all waiting for a table. This pretty much is because they arent big enough to have a lobby, so I cant blame them too much on that.My huge complaint is regarding the Vegetable Thai Dumplings. According to their menu, the description says Steamed, soft wonton skins filled with vegetables. My (vegetarian) wife ordered them off the appetizer menu, and when they arrived, they were appearing not to have been steamed, and instead were incredibly oily. To the point where we took a napkin and soak up a ton of oil off of them. We were up a little bit between our fingers to make sure it wasnt just water, and it was definitely oil. And when she open one up, there were chunks of what looks like me. We fly down a server, who told us that they were steamed, and that the meat-like substance was something to the effect of a soy fake meat product. We said that we did not want any of that, just the way that they were on the menu, so he took them back. Then when they came out again a few minutes later, it was the exact same plate just with a little bit more oil stopped off. We could even see where she had originally cut into one of them, in the same place. Same oily product with the soy stuff in them. Fortunately, my wife is not allergic to Soy, but she is paying very close attention to calories. Because of how much oil was on these, they were essentially inedible for her. I tried one, and it just tasted greasy. I could not get much flavor outside of Drive. When it finally came time to pay, we mentioned that to the server (when she asked us how the food was), and she said that she would see what she could do about that on our bill. They took one whole dollar off the $6.99 meal. Siam house is one of my personal favorite places to eat in Bloomington, but this kind of killed it for us :(
