Had gone there in the morning. Most of the locals come here in the morning for a walk or doing yoga. Its a large pond with a temple of Hindu god in the middle. If you are in Birgunj, taking out your time to go there, especially in the morning, would be worthy.

Its a nice place of Birganj in Nepal. There is a temple inside the Pond. There is also jogging track around the pond. In each corner there is sitting provision. Some entry fee is charged here. People enjoy sitting in stairs near water. Best time to visit is evening and Morning.

A hangout place for many people. This is a store water pond with a small temple of Sun god placed exactly at the centre of the pond. There is a passage to walk to this temple and so attracts many age groups. Morning walkers/joggers also go here daily for workouts. This place also has a musical fountain which is operated occasionally.

Good place for couples. Its a kind of dating site. Its famous for chhat puja temple. It has a pond in the middle in which one can go for boating. Boating charge for per person is 100 rs for 30 min. I didnt like the staffs as they were very rude.

Birgunj is a busy place. You dont have many places to go get some scenic view or even calm in solitude (except home).But we have this place and it is the only one that you can go with friends when bored or feel like getting out of the home or when u just feel like a quick visit to a park kinda place. This aint a park totally but it sure does feel like one.It has a big pond in the middle of which is a idol of a god. Around there pond lays the seating area, trees, counter for boat rides and water fountain ( operates only during the evening hours). The pond here is big and deep and you also can feed the fishes.The ticket price is cheap but it still always feels like being flushed down in vain since the caring committee of this place lags to uphold the facilities and arrangements if not improve it.Management isnt good.Yet a good enough ( the only) place you can go that is worthy of a visit when in Birgunj!
