I was very excited about my stay at GoSTOPS as the pictures shown were beautiful, elegant, spacious but when we entered we were shown a room tightly packed and a nightmare for a claustrophobic.I made the booking from Booking.com and there they mention toiletries. We were surprised to see that from a hostel but of course, that was an hoax to get more booking.Problem areas:- Stinky blanket.- Misleading promotion of rooms.- Hot water wasn’t available for one whole day out of 2 days of our visit.Overall, not a good place to stay if you are staying in large groups. But if you are on solo trip or maybe a small group of people, then this might be the right place.

Do not go just by looking at the pictures, real rooms will make you sad. While the rooms are clean and well lighted, still it will make you feel clustered like sheeps. No space in rooms. In a room of 6 people, 4 people cant all stand on the floor together!Theres a tea machine thats heavily charged for bad tea. You have to go out even for breakfast. There are soome good games in working condition. Terrace is good. Staff is friendly. Everything is clean. Hot water supply is not reliable.Somethings are good however bad things overpower them, Ill not go with goSTOPS again.

Images suggests this place to be really good but its actually frustrating...Its placed in very weird place that unless you are a local resident youll find it hard to find and there are not much board or banners to lead you towards it.Theres always water flowing out of tanks. And on the road... There are no lights outside if you arrive at night you are likely to step in to a Puddle. Inside there are not much rooms but are liveable only.-) Blankets were stinky-) no hot water was available-) they dont even have a Real food service, Maggi is not a breakfast.-) anytime youre doing something fun theyll interrupte-) we asked for bone fir they said we should have told them in advance, so we made it ourselves, next day we were out for exploring and we informed them in advanced that wed like to do bonefire tonight, when we got back they said we missed it... Then we asked them to start again they Charged us extra money for that.This place sure looks good but is actually very frustrating to live in.I will certainly not recommend.

This property is located at a serene place yet is nearby the landing site. People managing the property are super polite and are available to help readily. Wifi works superb!There was no facility for proper lunch and dinner. Basic snacks etc were available though.

I’ve been to 3 gostops, and this by far is the best of them. The staff was very friendly (there was a dog too), the food was reasonably priced and pretty good, the stay was very comfortable. Great stay for both groups and solo travellers.

Congested dormitories & washroom. Issue with hot water. Food in the cafe is average. Located quite interior which makes it a pain to walk to cafes & shops. Bir has much better hostels. Skip this one.

Its my second home. M visiting bir continuously from past 3 years and this is my only stay choice.

The photos are deceiving , the rooms are very congestedWe were given a room which opens up to common area and reception.They dont want cctv because the owners and workers are the cctv themselves always keeping eyes on what you are doing which makes us feel like we are under some investigation or somethingAnd the workers sleep in the common area where we actually chill out.And lights off by 11.00.First day the worker slept in another place in the common area because we came there first . Next day he came early and booked his bed in the common area.Bir is Nice , GoStops Bir is not

The place is just sad and boring. It is being run like Oyo room - no vibe, no ambience, no fun. Dead silence. The host is unhelpful, food is terrible. You need to pay the whole amount before entering the room. Generally you clear the bill while checking out. I also had a knee injury and I couldnt lift my luggage, despite requesting the host / reception guy, he straight up refused. If you are looking for a hostel vibe, mingling with ppl, good crowd, good view, dont come here.

The only plus point is the wifi speed, rest its all isterrible experience. Very disappointing if you have stayed with gostops Delhi in the past. Dont expect any of those experience here. This property is also located in a very bad location. No josh, no fun, no people, not eve a welcoming staff.The common area and the reception are in same room and they close the common area by 11PM, not recommended for you if you stay up night.They will give you looks for every single thing that you do there.I was feeling like I was hosted as a paying guest by them in their room and they consume most of the resources and give you restrictions.Also a worker was sleeping at the common area and you will end up sleeping on the tiny conjusted room.

The property is at very nice location. The dorms and tents are comfortable. Tents are on terrace where you can star gaze. Only problem is with the food. They dont have in house kitchen. They serve ready to cook meals mostly. Also, the private rooms doesnt have attached washroom. There are foosball, chess and other board games and also some books to read.

Decent property but need better hosts. Also, a slightly expensive when it comes to living in a hostel.

Place is pretty good. View is really breath taking!!If you are looking it for workation, wifi speed of 150 Mbps. But router here is not that good. I used my own router. With goSTOPS router, speed was 70-80 Mbps which also is good for any normal user. Over all a good place to stay or plan your workation/ long stay.

It is type of hostel and one room has 6 beds in bunk bed style .it also has lockers to store your valuables.there is a common room with free wifi of high speed ,so you can work there and attend meetings easily.in common rooms there are various games like fuss ball,jango, badminton,carrom,uno etc . washroom are good and has all facilities like hot water .I gave four stars for ok food and kitchen facilities.

The place is good if you are going to bir for leisure. The service is absent half the day. The room are very clean and extra efforts are done to make the place hygienic.If you are a nomadic remote worker. The wifi there is troublesome. As per my experience, the broadband connection is amazing, the cheap wifi routers are the bottleneck. The wifi works at amazing speed before 9 am, once everyone is up and online, and 20+ devices are connected to the cheap wifi router, everything gets clogged.I had a pleasant stay at the establishment.My advice to the owner is to upgrade the routers.And it is not a major investment. A good router just cost 2k and you only need 2 of them for a really good internet. The ROI will be great. suggestion: TP link AC1200 MU-MIMO.

Great location and good service. I have been on a number of hostels in my trip and this was one of the most memorable stays. Could meet a lot of like minded travelers there. The private tent was comfortable enough.

The stay at GoStops Bir was absolutely comforting and the ambience was friendly. Amit bhaiya deserves a special mention, for he cared for us and fed us like his little siblings, he is a gem of a person. Bir Billing in itself is an adventurous destination with a backdrop of serene quaint little cafes at every nook and corner. Its a perfect weekend getaway for all the adventure seekers and foodies. And people who are looking for a comfortable and affordable stay, GoStops Bir is the place to be.

The amenities were okay, the location is good. But the food at the canteen is not good, hardly any options. The game area is chill. Service is too slow, almost negligible. But thats what you can expect from a hostel. It was safe and okay.

False advertisement. Lying by omission. They lead us to believe that the room we booked had a balcony and more space but it was already sold out but we hadnt been informed about the same.

This place is love literally ❣ The caretakers are so amazing and friendly, they make your stay complete fun and memorable. The place is very colorful and the rooms are clean and affordable too.

Location is good and give good vibes. Peaceful environment is an addition to the ambiance. I liked the feel of nature there. If you like to go on walks, you will certainly enjoy the morning walks. Tents are on terrace and its cozy, that gives you good space to capture star trail or gaze at stars.Rooms are decent, washrooms are clean, common space is good enough for workation and vacations. Bring your own book if you like to read. Staff is good and supportive. Shivam (my apologies if i have spelled it wrong), their staff member is a good foosball player too.Food is the limitation.Please, play guitar or any musical instruments only if you know how to play. Else you will be spoiling someones property and ideal weekend getaway plan.

If you are planning to stay here keep in mind that there are few restrictions here like no drinking smoking inside the hostel.Staff is also not very cooperative.Had very few food options and food was also not good and very expensive.The only good thing about the place is the ambience.

The owner Mr Amit is extremely rude, wont listen to any concerns and all he cares about is charging travellers for extra money, so much so that after complaining he had to return a part of it with no apologies or signs of regret. So rude and stubborn, never came across such poor hospitality.Literally spoiled my trip. Never staying in GoStops again.

Its a pleasure at low cost. Very clean floor and rooms. Nice view inside and outside. Games are available. Snacks are good. Only complete food inside is missing. But that is not a big issue as market is nearby

Before visiting and staying at GoStops , Bir I never stayed at any hostel. For me it was my first time Hostel experience and so I was bit sceptical about rooms and washrooms. But when I visited the property I was amazed by the clean and colorful vibes. The property looks so vibrant and amazing with super clean washroom, amazing sitting area and the smiling behaviour of the staffs . I loved the property and the way they maintained hygiene and sanitization.Must visit and I am planning for my next Go stops encounter soon.

Domes are fine ,but never stay in their tents ,they are the worst and the food served by the cafeteria/kitchen is the worst . Everything from coffee to poha to hot chocolate ,just pathetic

Im a solo traveler working from hills. The ambience is not upto the mark and also the wifi was the main issue throughout my stay. The common area will be closed by 12am So, if you need to do any of your work past 12 you need to do that in your room.

I am solo traveler and it was one of the best dormitory in BIR.Manager was excellent and friendly and yes he is great cook too.Room were really clean and place was in the middle of BIR i.e near to landing spot for paragliding.I arrived at 3 am and checkin was very smooth.If you are in BIR, please try it out

Had a really great time while self quaranting myself. There’s a lot of improvements to be done though. The bathroom and kitchen needs a lot of renovation.

After the tiring journey we want a place which will make you feel relaxed. You need a place where you can sit with peace and get the feel of the serene weather outside. This place is the one for all of this. From perfect setting to comfortable and clean beds, from games to open area it has everything. The staff are cooperative. Dont expect a 5 star hotel service but what they give is something which we need at such a beautiful place❤️

One of the best goStops have been to. The staff, the people were so helpful and made my first hostel experience a memorable one. They provide breakfast on request, less rules, common area has cool games. Would definately recommend you to stay at GoStops Bir.

GoStops Bir has been an ultimate stay for me, I was there on September 27 for two days. I had a great time as i was solo and there was only property staff there. If youre planning for an off from your work and looking forward to solitude, i recommend you this straight up. If this place is super enriched for a solo stay then why not for an excited bunch of friends or family. Vijay bhai the caretaker and always there will be great for your dependability.Kitchen is there with the prefixed menu and you are even free to cook for yourself anything to want by paying item charges that come in use.Rooms are clean and comfortable. All dormitories are super cool and having pleasant vibes within. Washrooms are clean and good too.**Use GPS to reach to the property after stepping outta your car/bus.**No issue in parking of vehicles.Wish you happy bir billing :D

Go Stops Bir was my first experience of a hostel. I just enjoyed my experience there.I stayed in the mixed dorm for 10 days. I got a neat & clean bed, bathroom, filtered water, and free wifi - a good deal. Awesome Food!!!!!Add that with the location - right next to the picturesque mountains and Deer Park, its the best deal in town for backpackers.The staffs are young and helpful and they can help you in exploring this beautiful town. If you plan to visit Bir then your first option MUST BE GO STOPS.

I had to give it one star cause of the scenery and all. I suggest to other dear travellers not to visit gostop Bir. The manager is the most disrespectful and rude person i have ever met. Like any other teen i was excited to visit the place after seeing the images. But after the experience i was really disappointed. They talked rudely to my family . They dont have any kind of etiquette of how to talk to girls and ladies. Their sanitation facilities in bathroom are just hell. They have a list of menu but provide with only 2 dishes. They forced us to wash our own plates eventhough we said they can charge extra. When we protested they yelled at us and asked us to leave. Us being helpless, were forced to live the rest of the days anyhow.

Ambience is fantastic.The guys managing gostops are very helpful.Location is great.Must try Poha In breakfast.

The stay was nice but the private room that we opted for was not how it was priced. the room was very basic . They had foosball, carrom, Jenga, monopoly games in the common room which was really nice and we had a great time. Though they need to work on their food menu.

This is a very well maintained place. Good staff and helpful. Dont rely on the place for food and anyway they do limited menu breakfast only. Bright and sunny and has some good games in the lobby.

Do NOT think of staying at GoStops Bir!1. Owner was extremely rude to us and staff was very unwelcoming.2. If you think that you can chill in the common area at night, you cant. Bc the staff sleeps there and its extremely inconvenient.3. The hostel is situated so far up a road which is not even lit with street lights!4. If youre thinking of exploring the city at night, sorry, you cant. You are basically living in a cage and you cant leave or enter after 11 pm.5. The rooms were extremely tiny (pictures are misleading).6. No Breakfast was provided, and they are going to charge you if you ask for a bonfire!Worst Hostel experience!

This is an amazing place to spend a night. It has all sorts of entertainment like TV, foosball table, chess, monopoly, carrom board , guitar etc.The view from this place is beautiful and you can directly see the take off point of billing from the balcony. Rooms are clean and you can find people from different countries and backgrounds over here. Staff here is very helpful and they made eggs on our request in the included breakfast!Best part of this hostel, it is very near to the landing point, so after getting tired from paragliding, you can walk for 10 movies and you reach the hostel. It is bit in the interiors but not that much.The sky at the night is beautiful and you can see the stars!

The property was like a hostel but we stayed in private rooms. The property had a hostel like vibes and the common area had few games, couches and a tv. The location was okay just that they dont have a parking for your vehicle and entry was not so well maintained.

Best part of staying here is its location - beautiful view of the mountains from the big balcony. Rooms are clean are spacious. The people running the hostel are so friendly and helpful, it was a pleasure to be there.

This hostel was absolutely new when I stayed there a few months ago. I liked that the property is much larger compared to other hostels. I loved the bathroom in the girls dorm. Among the two best things about this hostel, one is the location. It is located near the main road which is full of cafes and also leads to the landing site. The only other hostel in Bir is a much longer walk away. The other thing is the view from there which is fantastic.The not so great thing would be the price, which was 600 a night, a bit steep for hostels. Especially considering the complimentary breakfast which was alu parathas every single day, with no other option. (It might be different now since they had just opened at that time.)Regardless, if I go back to Bir and live in a hostel I would choose GoStops again, mainly because of the location.

Funnest new hostel in bir. The view is directly of the paragliding path between billing and bir, so you can sit by and look at them fly across through the day.Amazingly clean, chill vibes, full of colour, a huge open area. Great views.Its a bit of a walk up from the main road. Its away from the hustle of the main road. Not too many good food options near the hostel. The simple wholesome dinner was basic but nice. Breakfast is great. And the team here is 💯.Would definitely recommend if your looking for a hostel in Bir.

An awesome view of the hills can be seen from the balcony area. Its a clean place with a great staff which guides you well on your trip. Location of the property is much better than other properties on the area as it shares its wall with Deer Park and us near to Landing site, market and is yet secluded to give you the peace of mind you need at such destinations. :)..

Hostels are good choice if you are okay with sharing room with strangers and want to bond with new people. This hostel has got many indoor games like foosball carom chess Jenga which you can play. You make your own breakfast and they help if you ask. Staff is really nice and helpful. Also hotel has a very nice view.

I stayed at Go Stops for about 2 weeks. The hostel is located very close to the landing site, hence giving you a very nice view of the paragliders. The staff ( Vijay bhaiya ) and owner are very helpful and cooperative. My stay here was supposed to be for one week, but as I met with an accident while flying, I stayed for a week more. They were very helpful during this period and took care if I needed anything.The place is clean and tidy, they are soon introducing a lot of things, waiting to be there again in October! :D

The place is situated in lap of nature. If nature backfires then we can do nothing but avoid visiting. In Amritsar we stayed longer due to heavy raining and water was till knee deep even if we want to spend time outside. Road was closed to Bir from Amritsar side due to landslides.We managed our dates back and forth and even had word with staff of this place, who suggested not to visit since roads are closed and bad weather with heavy raining. All we asked is an exception to cancel our booking without charging and yet they charged us.Gostops don’t care if anything happens to tourists trying to reach the place but they won’t refund. We don’t travel everyday to the Himachal from Maharashtra and we only rely on the local guides and hotel staff suggestions.If your booking in advance and if the weather screws your plan all of the sudden don’t expect any cooperation except sweet talk from the staff.
