Amazing Indian food, buffet system is every bit worth it. Plenty variety for everyone.Ambience could be more Indianische and found a staff member to be bit impolite.Rest of the experience was amazing. Must try out!

Best place to taste indian food with a buffet option from 11:30 to 14:00

Today i visited this restaurant Indikitchen in Bielefeld and i must say it was one of the most ridiculous place to be.Following are the reasons why?1- Firstly my friend was told by Restaurant manager that if you do not finish your plate we will charge you double. Mind it he specially came to him and without any reason tried to ridicule him. I do not understand how he had an idea that he will waste the food or if they have certain policy they should have written it for their customers rather than gossiping it to one of the customer who is not reluctant.2- When i went to have a salad there was a fly or bee flying over it, i asked the waiter what is it? He said cant you see its a fly, i replied yes i can see but what is it doing it on the food?He ignored me and kept on saying i duno.....I mean this is the attitude of the staff that rather being felt answerable, he was trying to be anguish that why did i ask such thing.3- Manager was called and in this time the fly or bee flew to one of the main course, you can also see in the picture. So this was the same guy who told my friend that he should not waste food orelse he will charge double.So i asked him the same question what a fly is doing on the food and without being apologetic he said this is normal, we have Kontrolle two times a month so there are flies on the food.I have no idea from where these people had learned the Food business or atleast they should have learned how to keep Hygiene .I was so much dissapointed from the mismanagement of this restaurant and i will not at all recommend it and will surely file a complain against them.

A group of 20 people including my family were enjoying our dinner at this restaurant, people were awed by the traditional wears that we wore on this day, and clicked some photos with us too. We ended up having our dinner, everything was going great. At the end, we thought of taking some snaps, outside the buffet area, and the manager came and said we dont entertain any disturbance to our customers. Literally there was no question of disturbing the other guests there, as we were way away from the dinner area. Felt really bad about the hospitality. Seemed like he was the only one, who was getting totally annoyed by us. Never again. Especially, Indians please be prepared for such cheap hospitality.

Really friendly and competent service. I got a coupon on my bill, so it was quite cheap and more than worth the money.Food‘s spicy and rich in variety, although some of the dishes are very similar.Would come here again!

The best Indian food I have ever had...better than anything I have had in the US or U.K. Great variety and everything tastes great. Dont let the buffet deter you--you just have more good food to sample! Owner is very nice and personable.

Food is good I would say but I have been to a better Indian food service in Berlin. But I have something to say!Yesterday evening me and a very special person to me went to have dinner there. We had the buffet. Was good. Then we asked for something to drink! which I ordered one of the most favourite drinks that I enjoy in my life and I also know by heart how it is made. chei (tea) latte with cinnamon which I got a black tea milk shake claiming to be chai latte. When I insisted that was not what I ordered the the waitress confirmed that! the bar man approached aggressively to claiming that I do not know what I have ordered and that was the right order, then I was offered few pieces of crushed cinnamon!! to be added to the black tea which I refused then was met with a total ignore. I do not know their policy of treating their foreign customers. I see them very kind with locals. but I shall investigate that. I have written an email to their administration and I hope they put it to their consideration. otherwise I will never stop putting my negative recommendation everywhere.

Excellent quality food, spacious atmosphere, good price and a clean venue. Definitely worth a visit here and I will go again!!

The place is very beautiful and clean on the inside. The staff is lovely and their customer service is very caring. There was a lot of variety in the buffet and the food was delicious! However, I have to point out that the Naan was not up to the mark. Overall, my experience was excellent!

The restaurant offers really authentic Indian food, the staff is very friendly and all the facilities are nice and clean. However, for those who are looking for a traditional Indian kitchen, the place might seem a bit too much like a Maharaja Palace, due to its beautiful and opulent decorations, conveying a nobel atmosphere. But this is surely not a bad thing; instead, it is the perfect surrounding for a great meal!

Being from Pakistan I normally do not like the Indian/Pakistani food in resturants and I was skeptical but still tried the buffet at indikitchen and loved the food and all the dishes there.A proper authentic selection of disehs and look and taste also proper desi i.e. Pakistani.Highly recommended.

Fantastic place. Lots of space in the old cinema building which gives a calm ambiente , the staff are proffesional and friendly. The curry (Vindaloo) is not as hot as you get in a classic Indian resturant in the UK. Not a massive selection but what is available in this buffet only resturant is deliscious, the mint pepper sauce is something special. Well worth a visit.

The service was friendly but inattentive, no taste, you want a drink, nothing. The food was delicious but mostly cold. I am probably not used to it as a German, but I found many things to be over-seasoned, but maybe it has to. It was heavy in my stomach. Very loud, train station atmosphere.

Seit Monaten (vermutlich ab April) scheint das Restaurant geschlossen zu sein. Das erscheint so aber nicht auf Google. Es sieht sowohl auf Google als auch auf der Webseite so aus als wäre das Restaurant geöffnet. Am Restaurant selbst ist auch nichts ausgehängt. Wenn man anruft, dann sagt eine Stimme, dass bis zum 31. Mai Corona-bedingt geschlossen ist (wir haben jetzt Ende August). Einen Liefer- oder Abholservice, so wie auf der Webseite beworben, gibt es auch nicht. Es wäre schön, wenn auf der Webseite, beim Telefon und beim Restaurant wenigstens korrekte Angaben wären, damit man nicht umsonst vorbeischaut bzw. einfach Bescheid weiß. Es ist Besuchern unklar, ob und wann das Restaurant wieder öffnet.

Danger! Unfortunately, yesterday, after we even received a table reservation confirmation by email, we stood in front of a locked door on the construction site! We assumed that our table reservation was checked and then confirmed, as stated in the mail.It was really annoying because we were in Kalletal and arrived very hungry in Bielefeld. So Google is not always correct when it comes to opening times, etc.We hope that everything will be updated soon.

It is quite huge and you can still feel the cinema character but the buffet is not only rich but delicious.

Hello we were here for the first time today and it was really a great atmosphere from the outside it did not look that big but the restaurant is huge and lovely and very nicely decorated the staff is very nice and helpful and now for the meal we had buffet and there was a lot of choice there is really something for every taste we will definitely check back more often.

According to Indian acquaintances of the Indians in the region, where it tastes most like home (of course they add a lot of spice). As a European, I have to say that I like it very much. Vegi, chicken, and lamb are the three main options. The buffet is almost always refilled promptly, only the waiters are not always up to date, which is not too annoying at the buffet

A very special “Indian” - there is a large, rich buffet selection of Indian dishes in a huge room that used to be the big-screen cinema. We liked the fact that you can try so many deliciously spicy dishes. In addition to a lot of chicken and lamb dishes, there is also a lot for vegetarians, plus soups, salads and desserts. Wait staff are nice too. But on three visits now, nobody has ever asked us if we would like to order another drink

Today we were here with friends for the first time and we were all thrilled. Here you dont choose from a menu, but the food is in the form of a buffet.We really like to eat Indian and already know some dishes, especially because I like to cook Indian myself. Today I got to know new and well-known dishes and they were all very tasty. The offer is not as extensive as with other offers of this type, but there is more than enough choice. You get samosas, dal, raita, meat, rice, fish and dessert. I especially like the salad and fruit bar. Everything is very fresh and looks very appetizing.You wont be disappointed with the drinks either. You can get Indian drinks as well as the well-known ones.What I still have to highlight positively: The toilets are very clean and the washbasins are just as stylish as the restaurant area. The only thing I would like to see is hooks for the handbag, but the door handle can also be used in an emergency.We will definitely go back here, because it was delicious, we liked it very much.

It is a really great location. We ate from the buffet here and this was delicious. All dishes were well described (heat, allergens). I was able to see the allergens again in the online menu. The service was first class. We felt comfortable here and will go out to eat here again.

An all-you-can-eat restaurant with Indian food, I think this is the only restaurant in Bielefeld that offers something like that.Four of us had been there on a Friday evening. We had reserved as a precaution, but still some places were free.The service is friendly.It was not so nice that we got a drinks list with undefined, wet spots.Cocktails and Lassie were good. The buffet did not look big, but that was quite enough. The food was delicious but some still very spicy, although it was not labeled. So no restaurant for people who can not eat spicy. (!)As already mentioned, the food is marked, very spicy dishes were marked with a red dot and vegetarian dishes with a green dot.Here you could also go well with vegetarians.Salads, many curries, rice varieties, soup, various naan breads, papadam, fried vegetables, dumplings and Indian desserts and watermelon were all available.In the end we were all full and satisfied. Can I definitely recommend to any curry lover!

Very good Indian food at a much too cheap price. Unfortunately, you always have to run after the naan bread. Do not believe Tandoori oven. The usual smoke taste is missing but otherwise everything was really delicious and the meat dishes were also very tender.

What a big disappointment! Absolutely manageable portions, chicken pieces can be counted on one hand, cheese-naan bread without cheese, no indication of an unbelievable spiciness in the menu, chilli pods as tasty as a bicycle tube! Conclusion, very much Indian, but not again at INDIKitchen!

Good Indian foodWe were with 5 people and baby there. Have lunch at the table for the evening reserved. It is a very large restaurant, but very crowded for a Wednesday evening. Apparently also some larger groups. The service was very, very friendly, all together. Drinks came quickly.The buffet had a good selection, some appetizers, a soup, a number of vegetarian and vegan dishes and also meat dishes, which were mostly on the other side. Only the dessert department was disappointing, there should be something to be improved. I only tried once with my husband, but otherwise everybody took something at the table and everyone was disappointed. Of course, I do not know what there is in the Indian cuisine for dessert variations, but maybe you should then put at least 2 ice creams, if only for children.The food was flavorful, everything I had (vegetarian), very good. There were even table decorations and a birthday card, really nice and attentive. You do not find that much anymore.Thank you for the lovely evening.
