No doubt, it is one of the top govt colleges in Odisha.. but the facilities are meagre .. Im a student of this college but still i must say the truth.. library for graduation level students is good with a spacious reading room. But if you have taken a practical subject then most of the time you wont get the required equipments and most of the equipments are there since a long time which are of no use.. classrooms are huge..Teachers are excellent but efforts should be from your side to get the best out of them as this college accumulates the elite students which gives you a high level of competition ... so all in all if you are okay with all the lacunae and just want to be a BJBian (obviously a proud moment) then this college is the best!

I study here. And I am very content be campus. Its still a bit older styled in its administration and such but its my kinda campus :)

I have not visited the whole campus but its good close to the capital city of odisha but inside the campus its calm and cool, no effect of town inside it. Good for education and one of the famus college of odisha. Science, arts commerce are the major and bachelor education also there but its self financing. Hostel facility available and in ladies hostel bit high restrictions for girls. Road and infrastructure are good, market available close by the college and also state mausam is there close by around 500meter. Government bus connect the college and good for transportation for someone stays outside the campus.

When I Enter The College My Heart Filling with Joy .Its not Just a College its the Temple of Every Students who study Their, Its not just a Educational Institutions its a Men Making Fectory where Students BUILD Their CareersIts Provide so much Intellectual to our society

The college has an old-school ambiance, still trying to cope with the new-age advancements.The location is at the heart of the city but the surroundings are not very clean.The authorities are cooperating but it lacks a competitive study atmosphere. Mostly local board students study here and rarely you find CBSE or ICSE students opting for it.The medium of teaching is Odia-English (mainly inclined towards Odia), which is a bit concerning.Another major problem with it is the CHSE affiliation. CHSE is not known for its competitive syllabus and has a very low standard of teaching and examination.
