I was a student for more than 10 years in DAV. This place made me a better person honestly. Rules and regulations of are very strict over here and so are the teachers. Youll never understand their importance till you study there, but once you pass out from the school and join some other institution youll realise so many good things that DAV has taught you. Teachers are strict yet supportive and will actually do anything to help you score good. DAV has students who are good at studies, sports, music, dance, painting and etcetera. Thats also possible because of the facilities it provides. But the main cons are that, students feel very pressurised and overwhelmed at some point. Too many extra classes and no time for self studies. Too many exams and practice tests doesnt allow students to have their own time for doing any other activities they like.I hope things get better soon and students actually enjoy studying at the same time enjoy doing extra curricular activities when theyre in DAV. Thats the only thing we DAVIANS wanted when we were a part of the school. 🙂

This school is extremely overrated. The teachers are incompetent, inconsiderate, and unhelpful. Especially in 11th and 12th. I have been in here for 12 years and I still dont get the appeal of it all.

This school just looks good from outside but its worst from inside. Teachers are just rude to students. Even they beat students very hard without any valid reason. Theres a lot of partiality maintained among the students by the teachers. In the name of discipline they just mentally torture you .Teachers are very very bad. Believe me the atmosphere inside the school is very bad. Students use slangs freely inside the campus. Even some teachers also use slangs frequently inside the school campus. You may ask any student and you get similar review. Please parents dont let your childs carrier get destroyed. Dont do your childs admission in this school. No one would tell you the truth but yes it is the truth.

The school seems to be very good due to its brand name only, but in actual teaching standard and teachers are not as good for the JEE and NEET Standards.Only one faculty is there for each subject for IGNITE Classes which is not sufficient to teach every portion of the each subjects as per competition standard.It seems that the school is running IGNITE Classes for their business purpose only and not for the sake of students. The proof for this is till date they have not declared how many students have qualified for this year JEE and NEET on their website.If they will declare I think nobody will be interested to admit their child in IGNITE Classes.If DAV UNIT 8 wants to be in the market for the competitive exam they have to improve a lot and they have to increase the faculty strength.
