Its a well maintained large Hall for gathering and party function with all facilities.The place is not well connected to outsiders as it presents interior place from main road. Only own vehicle can help you to return . No public help you get after evening. As many people come party in public transport they suffer as at night or after evening not getting transport services.

Its a facility developed by the government agency to allow people to organise small social gatherings in the locality. These kind of facilities have been developed in all the localities of the city of Bhubaneswar.The particular Kalyan Mandap in K 7 area of Kalinga Vihar is situated at a very convenient location and is easily approachable for the people. Kalyan Mandap is the name for the community halls and these are developed by the government and local authorities.

This Kalyan mandap is very nearer to Vipul garden. Very spacious manadap. It can be used for very large programs or 2 marriage programs. Large parking area. Nice and silent location . Good communication available. All arrangements are good . But food is not so tasty. And indoor is not so hygienic, but it can be manageable.

Visited this place for the marriage occasion of one of my friends sister marriage. Its on main road. Spacious but needs good care and maintenance. Rest is fine, one can book it for the family functions.

Peaceful area

If you every Book the Mandap then go to BDA office and book it there officially. Never ever try to book it via the Caretaker there. Bhoi Babu. That person have ruined my special day. He took booking from 3 different people on same date. And on my wedding day we have so much clash between other parties. As we had the official letter from BDA we got the space after so many fights and police station visits and everything. The local Care taker was the worst. Also he takes money for cleaning up afterwards which doesn’t have receipt. He delays that a lot and you will get your venue super late always. The washroom pipes and outlets are Jammed internally so your guests will always face problems.The glasses and walls are not clean and field outside is never maintained. The caretaker drinks alcohol and will never respond to you properly when you ask for explanations.I had the worst experience in my wedding kept me awake whole night before. Never pay Bhoi babu a single penny. Get your own cleaner. And book the property from BDA office only.

This place is little far from city . But good green surroundings. The locality is good as its not so populated. The parking space is huge. Even if you have car , this place has enough space for car and bike parking. Good mandap for all occasions. Facility also very good. Its located besides the main road. This mandap is able to handle 2 marriages at a time. It has 2 floors, AC room , washroom. Very good mandap for arranging any kind of party/occasion.

This Kalyan Mandap is owned by BDA and located in K-7 Area. Booking can be done at BDA, Bhubaneswar Office. There are 2 Halls i.e. Ground Floor and First Floor. Large Open Area is attached to both Halls. There are a few Nearby Tent Houses available. No designated Parking place, but there are enough space for parking nearby.

Place was large enough to conduct any party with ample space for parking ..

The AC is not working since 3yrs as told by their staff. There is no electric incharge, no cleaning person, No plumber. There is no current supply to sealing fan connection. There is no availability of single sealing fan. I gave many complaints to the authority as I booked the mandap for my sisters marriage. But no one responded so I did all the electrical and plumbing work by my own expense. The security guard Mr. SANAs behaviour was completely stupid. He threatened our guests that he is a local guy when we complaint about the delay in water supply. That SANA is completely a Non-sense. WE HAVE A WORST EXPERIENCE WITH BDA KALYAN MANDAP, VIPUL GARDEN ROAD, KALINGA NAGAR

This is a known and popular Marriage mandap in the kalinga Nagar area and situated at a very convenient location.A very good place for celebrating Thread ceremony, ring ceremony and Marriage ceremony....Both indoor and outdoor are available to handle huge crowd.
