I went the place from Mindtree side by trekking through the hill and forest. It was a nice experience to pass through the dense forest. We were in group and the way till temple was known. Dont try to adventure if you are new as the forest is very dense and you may encounter snakes and wild insects.

The temple is being currently renovated and in all probability is going to end up in the standardized marble covered and blaring loudspeakers format currently found across India with no distinctness.That said its definitely worth a visit when in Bhubaneswar. There are primarily three deities - Chandi, Tarini and Ganesh.It may be difficult for the elderly as the steps are quite steep with no railings to hold on to. There is a big risk from the numerous monkeys.It seems to be a popular picnic spot (lot of garbage dumped as a result). Nandankanan is about 10 minutes away.
