No words to this location, One of the primitive venture of char dham, abode of Lord Vishnu. What a locality and mammoth temple standing high in the sky. I went during rainy season which made me miss few impressive viewings and also due to the covid pandemic I was not able to get through the main gate as two dose of vaccination were mandatory, for sure will visit this abide very sooner with the blessings of mahaprabhu Neel Madhav Ji!! Jai jagannath!!I visited here with my parents back in the month of Nov ( 2019).There was huge rush of pilgrims and the reason being (as told by locals) that November month (kartik mas) is very auspicious month for darshan and prayers.This temple has 4 gates (one in each direction) and I would recommend to book your hotel near to temple specially on Grand trunk road (rath yatra road) coz you will easily get transportation from there .We didnt know this thing and our hotel was on back side of temple so I faced difficulties in finding rickshaw for my old parents.There is no ticket for darshan (its totally free )and beware of pickpockets.Buy khaja from Nrusingha old shop (there are many duplicate one also )

Those who are not hindu dont be upset because east side gate have a replica of lord jagannath which they can see. Which is called patita paban.

Divine place. All devotees need to be careful to not fall prey to Pandas, you can take help from the security personnel instead of pandas. Had very good Darshan apart from the pandas asking for money everywhere, everything else seemed to be really good.

Come here as far as possible and pay utmost attention to cleanliness, which will increase its prominence and identity. Do not come here just to roam and have fun, but keep a generous attitude towards God in your mind.

Very very well organised and clean place.Shoe deposit system has improved much.Better visit before 7 am to avoid walking much. From 7 AM onwards vehicles are not allowed near main gate. But rickshaws are allowed.

Dhwaja Parivartan or the Flag Changing in the premises of Shree Jagannath temple in Puri is one of the unique events of the daily rituals which are being performed every evening without interruption. I love this temple 🏰 and its architecture. It has a huge campus which spreads over a large area. Mostly , I love the mythological stories of this temple and Science behind the fact that 7 pots are kept at a time in CHULHA and the food in the topmost pot cooks first which you may have heard before. One this I love the most is the MahaPrashaadam of this temple and really enjoyed it.
