Excellent food and service. We spend a nice evening here and can recommend it to anyone looking for delicious Nepalese cuisine and a friendly atmosphere. The prices are absolutely adequate for what you get.

Part of the €10 local meal offering. Had 3 dishes on offer and we had 2 which were both amazing. We had rice, naan, curry, lentil dhal and raita as part of the meal. Amazing value and great quality.

Amazing food!! my absolute favorite Nepalease restaurant. Im so happy that we could still we can have the home delivery during qarantine time!

We were very well recieved, the menu was extensive and the quality was fantastic. Right up there with the best curries weve had and the servings were very generous too. The host was genuine and very accommodating. He was also very hospitable to a neighbouring table of 6 who all entered with suitcases and needed wall outlets to charge their various electronic rectangles.

My best local curry house! These guys make a really great lamb vindaloo... recommended! The specials menu is very good value. In house service is classic and enthusiastic, try the authentic imported Nepalese lager.

Very good, very friendly. You get a free appetizer, Nan and water are also included. Portions are big. I guess for Finnish prices its not that expensive and the food is really worth every cent.

Im a regular, everything Ive had has been consistently good. Naan is great! People are very nice. Small salad bar with lunch, coffee and tea are also available.

We decided to visit the restaurant Aangan located on Hietalahdenkatu 8, just 5 minutes walking from the Synebrichoff Museum, 6 minutes by car to the West Terminal (Länsiterminaali), and 4 minutes from Kamppi City Center.Inside, the restaurant craves for changes: the carpet requires more care, paintings inspire cheapened, tablecloths from cellophane to not be washed too often. Most interesting to me seemed to be wooden sculptures and the ambiental music.As soon as we entered we were greeted by a waiter, and with a very useful marketing strategy , invited us to sit at the table to the window to be visible to those who are passing by the location (the next customer arrived in the restaurant was invited at the windows table too, even if the table was for four people), and without being asked, the waiter showed us directly the lunch menu: two vegetarian dishes (8.50€), two dishes with meat (pork, chicken or lamb 8.80€ - 8.90€), a dish with fish (mostly pangasius 8.90€), a special mix (10.20€ - you can choose two dishes from above in the same plate) and a special tandoor (12.90€). All the dishes are accompanied by basmatic rise and naan bread.After all it was not an unpleasant experience because the food was tasty but I dont think we will return there too soon ...

Every time something good is brought to the table, regardless of the correct dose. A visit here is always just as enjoyable and easy to return to.Naans bread is wonderfully crispy on the surface and soft on the inside. The chicken is tender and well seasoned. The stripe is fresh and thick with a touch of cardamom.The portions are hearty, so there is no need to leave the restaurant when hungry.

Choice butter chicken instead of Friday menu.Seasoning light condiments to acidity of tomato sauce, and soft chicken broken with spoon. Warm fluffy Nan. Beautiful basmati rice that has not broken is more than 1 cm long and slender. Everything was delicious with careful work. Salad bar with coffee and spice tea is also around 10 euro. I think that COSPA is also a good one as finland of high price.I think it is reasonable to use for lunch.

The service was excellent, the food tasty and adequate. We went to eat during the Eat Helsinki event. The event was well catered for in the restaurant, when a dozen menus were brought separately to the table.

Helsinkis best Nepali, as many others here testify.At lunchtime you should visit so save money.A rich salad bar and a spicy Chai or coffee are included in the price.You should also taste the concentrated chili paste from the salad bar.It is very hot so not recommended for the most sensitive or the youngest in the family.
