The trip to Van Vihar National Park in Bhopal was awesome. We had such VIP treatment with a private car and an entourage of forest officers escorting us around the national park. The weather was really nice and we enjoyed being outdoor. The view of the lake is amazing and a must visit if you are in Bhopal.

Good place to spend some time.

The ticket is pocket friendly it costs Rs 20 per person,you can take your vehicle or any other convenience along but need to take separate ticket for it,you can also rent bicycles from authorities by paying subtle amount,but it depends upon the availability. Moreover bicycles by Chartered Bike are also available on entrance. The national park gives a breathtaking view of lake on one side and various animals on the other. You can also spend peaceful moments here....:)

Van Vihar is Closed on Friday. Reached by Auto, Taxi or own Vehicle. Entry The Gaye Entry Fee walking Tour 20/- Cycle your 30/- Two wheeler 60/- Auto 120/- Four wheeler 250/-(5 person) and photography charges still camera 300/- for video Camera 400/- opening time 6.30Am to 6.30Pm.

You can spot a vast variety of animals including leopards, cheetah, Neelgai, panthers, etc. as well as birds such as kingfishers, bulbuls, wagtails, and some migratory species. The best time to visit here is between July and September when the chances of seeing a white tiger are the highest.

Very quiet and peaceful place with lake surrounding from one side and forest from other.Only animals found were Hyena, Bear, Tiger, White Tiger, Panther, Neel Gay, Deer, Tortoise, Snakes, Crocodile, Aligator & Snakes.Place is not much crowded, and most of the visitors were couples trying to get some separate space, other than them there were very few visitors interested in wildlife.

This is a big national park, good for going with family and friends,but do not try by walk. You may use vehicle, if you dont have try cycling, which are available at gate,but the condition of cycles are not good as all cycles are old (hero jet) and first you have to deposite 50 Rs per cycle and then when you will return the cycle they will return the money to you the price of entry by foot is 20 Rs.But dont expect many animals that you can watch as you will not able to see them due to dense trees ..... but overall a good experience and good place to spend family time.....

This palace is good to roam the place. Here the beauty of nature gets a lot of pleasure.

From kamala park bus stand ,we started walking inside a park and then along the lake, the site is very beautiful. The logo of The City Of Lakes is on the way. After long walk we finally came to the entrance of van vihar. We buy 8 tickets , each is 20 rs and go inside. After going inside we have to decide to walking or cycling. We choose cycling. For cycling the price is 10 rupees per hour but you have to pay extra 40-50 for security fee for each, that will be given to you after you finish and submit the cycle. Coming to the cycle, it is not good, specially the smaller one. I prefer the larger black cycle that is quite good. Moreover it tools 2 hour minimum to totally complete and came back.One important thing please go early in the morning. Here the atmosphere is good. Too many water spot is there inside. Also 2-3 shops for soft drinks, ice cream available there.

A very cozy place for the visitors in Manali. Easy to navigate and observe from the main road. Enjoy walking and many fast food inside the park.also go for the nature trail by walking and you can use electric car.park have a beautiful environment.

They have removed bicycles, I think due to covid19 and the chartered bikes available outside requires 300₹ to be added in its wallet. So, had to walk.

Love this place but was disappointed as they didnt allowed to buy cycles and those e cycles was of no use as only 1 cycle was registered by 1 person n rest those who dnt ve phones was not able to get it

An asset for Bhopal city. Very few cities will have such wonderful national park with lake! The entrance gate is aesthetically designed, but the public toilet there needs continuous upkeep.

Its a great place to see big cats in captivity, but it also makes for a great walk, bicycle ride or even drive. At Rs. 250 for car entry, its a bit of a pricey drive, though.Food options inside are limited to chocolate bars, ice-cream and basic snacks, so try to keep your visit between meals.
