The open air museum has lot of exhibits including battle tank and helicopters. The exhibits are tastefully displayed with information boards. A small indoor gallery has lots of information about the army. There is also a small souvenir shop and a canteen. Entry is free and photography is allowed.

Seriously it was the best experience to get knowledge about my indian army.The staff was very good as some of them are very interested to tell about everything we asked. visiting here was free of cost and there is also a canteen .It was the first time i enterd in the tank.Many retired wepaon and helicopter were there .They showed a video about indian army and at that time my patriotism to my country rised to like 💯%.u should definitely visit it.

Although there could be a lot more, what it has is good!Fortunately, or unfortunately, it doesnt seem to be very well known, which is why it is not crowded. But the benefit of that is that all visitors end up getting a personalised guided tour from a military personnel stationed at Yodhasthal, which is a unique experience, to say the least!Most definitely worth a visit!

It has all kinds of military weapons and vehicles which are of course obsolete and discarded by military like tanks, aircraft, missile, helicopter, naval boats and guns for exhibition. You are also shown a short documentary on Indian military in a room via projector. Very inspiring and motivating. It is free for now and there are no charges for entry as of now. Very interesting place. Must bring kids to this place. Also there is a small park with swings and slides for small children. Best time to go there is evening 5 to 7 p.m.

Yodhsthal in Bhopal is a army musium situated on Bhopal Jaipur highway about 3 km from lal ghati chowk where one can see some old battle tanks, helicopters, antiaircraft guns, missiles and field guns etc. Theres a small documentary is shown to the visitors telling the story of Indian army. It is worth visiting here with children. Certainly they will enjoy.

Its an awesome place. An open museum of Guns, tanks, rifles. You get to see a documentary that helps you to know Indian defense system closely. Admission processes to defense services are well described. You get to know about the knowledge about the different ranks in Naval forces, Army and Airforce. The officers are quite prompt and are excited to give you the information. Its a very good place for those who are aspiring their careers in defense services. Its not just a tourist place , but more of an educational place. I find it motivational and more than that a Sacred place.. It gives a goosebumps while you go through each of those exhibits and information provided. Much better than Shourya Smarak.
