Best place to have vegetarian food!Ive tried Chana nature and veg manchurian comes with fried rice, loved it!

Food was great, but they were super busy on a Sunday evening and seemed a little understaffed. Our dosas were cold when served but the owner came by to apologize for the wait and offered to bring out another dosa for us. Would come back for the good food!

Not as impressive as I expected it to be! Soups were tasty and hot. Paneer tikka was less in quantity but it was good as well. I did not like dosas and gobhi Manchurian. The service and quality can be worked upon. I almost had a tussle with one of the servers for the order placed when he tried to impose the order I did not place.

Decent place for south Indian food. Good ambience.

Such a great restaurant with amazing service. I was hesitant at first because its a vegetarian restaurant and I love my protein, but I am so happy I went. The menu is very diverse with something for everyone and Abhi will take such great care of you. His knowledge of the menu and food allergies is incredible. I would recommend this place to anyone. Its in a strip mall and not beautiful from the outside, but once you walk in, you will be impressed. And even more so, once you take your first bite. Give it a try, for sure!!

A Hidden Gem in Chicago! This restaurant serves some of the most delicious Indian food we have had. All the items we had were very reasonably priced and filled with flavour. Hats off to the chefs, this is a spot worth visiting! Also, the staff is very friendly and kind. We will definitely be back.

The outside does not match the ambiance of inside. While yes, the food is very good. The Naan was great, lemon rice was surprisingly good and the dosa was HUGE! That was just a few things that we had. The over powering aroma of the incense was a little much. The smell detracted from the actual taste of the food. My guest did have some dietary issues and did ask the wait staff to clarify what was EXACTLY in a particular dish. She could not say, so she asked the chef and was assured that it only had 2 ingredients. Unfortunately when it came to our table it clearly had more than just potatoes and turmeric. It wasnt harmful to her health but she had to stop eating the dish because of the extra ingredients that didnt agree with her health. Overall, food was delicious and worth going back again and hopefully they dont use the incense to mask the other smells.

Our go to place for their fresh, tasty dosas and appetizers. Friendly staff, clean restaurant. They will make things less spicy upon request, which is good for me. My husband likes hot foods, me, not so much.

Food is great, service is not so good but still giving 5 star, giving them chance to improve.We had Appetizer Platter, Paneer Tikka, Soya Chili and Crispy corn, everything tastes good.But Paneer Tikka was not hot/warm, we felt they served previously cooked and when we asked them about it, server said it just came out of tandoor and we served which was not true. (Because if you take it out from Tandoor and serve immediately, Paneer Tikka will be very hot) server took it inside again, warmed it in microwave and got it back.Try their Makka di roti and Sarso da Saag, it is good. We usually don’t find it at many places in US.Don’t try Kulfi, it is not so good. Amritsari Chole was okay.Ambience is good as well, only complain is for service.

We have order food in Uber eats before it was great food . So we went there to go eat in person. The food was great but it took them 1 hr and 30 mints to serve still did not serve all the food the we ordered. Food is good very testy If I were u and going with large family order 2 hours a head pay it then go there to eat so the food is all ready hot and all on time to eat. Because they are really short in help it is not a cooks folt he or she is great cooking all star is for a cook. It is perfect vegetarian restaurant 😋😍👌 please

Amazing food!!! My experience at Shree Restaurant has always been the best. Their staff is amazing always accommodating to your needs. I recently ordered from food for my father-in-laws 75th birthday and ordering was a breeze. Karan was very accommodating to me, I kept changing stuff but he was very nice to about everything and communicated back with in timely manner. They were on time with delivery. Everything exceeded our expectations, dinner was phenomenal..

Went there with my family and had a really bad experience. Our food was served after waiting for hour and half and it wasn’t even that busy. We ordered 6 items and they brought one item at a time. We got one item and had to wait 15 mins for the second one and so on. When we talked to the manager, his excuse was the chef is very slow ( I mean seriously 😐). The food was cold and awful. Will not go there again!!

Overall, very good food and staff . The service was really great. The owner was around and he was also looking at the customer personally .The gobi Manchurian is really good. Their churchur naan is really nice. Worth visiting.

Shree is the restaurant to be at!! Food was absolutely amazing which was expected; but cannot believe how amazing the staff and management is. We were a big group and they took care of us in a very timely, professional and friendly manner. Will definitely return!!!!

We have been eating at Shree for several decades. The food is consistent in quality and great taste! My most favorite is Dosa, The Staff is friendly and welcoming. Last evening we were served by Sonia, who is very friendly and helpful.will definitely go back.

Great food! Loved their Chinese appetizers and North Indian curries. Dosa looked great. Their manu has variety of options for food, cant go wrong with anything.

Awesome Experience with Shree Restaurant:Few days back I came from India and tried several Indian restaurants at chicago, Today I had food from Shree Restaurant and I will tell you the food is super delicious, mouth watery and nicely served. Team up there Taking care all the safety precautions considering the pandemic. I will give 10/10 to this restaurant and will recommend to my friends and families to try this place and experience the value for money. Kudos!!!

This is the one of very few pure vegetarian Indian restaurant in chicago area. I have been to this place multiple times and food taste has never disappointed me. But the cleanliness here is bit of a problem- like last time i was here my shoes were sticking to floor. And waiters here are not good in taking orders. Also i went an hour before restaurant closing and they already started cleaning the main dining area which made it very noisy. And i don’t enjoy food while someone in front of me is standing with broom - felt like they want me to leave early so that they can clean. Food-wise though no complaints. We ordered kachori which was very crispy- best one i had in Chicago for sure. And maincourse was good too. Wish the place was cleaner and more welcoming.

Simply superb. Had South Indian food. Dosa and sambas vada amazing. Coconut chutney and peanut chutney simply superb. Very good service. 45 mins away from downtown. But nice and quiet. The only downside is the prices are 2-3 dollars higher than normal for the same quality of food at other places.This is the only reason for 4 stars, else it will be a 5 star restaurant.

Manager came and request us to change review so I did and give him (happy fathers day) respect. Not all days are same This time I will give 4 instead of 1 Imma make this simple. Food, SPLENDID. Service, TERRIBLE. Took to long. Had to remind constantly what we ordered and would like it soon. Subjzi got cold by the time roti came. I say, Uber eats. Faster and dont have to leave the home. Hopefully next time (we will go definitely since food taste is good) it would not be the same case and receive best service.

I had been to this restaurant very recently and had a bad experience. The buffet menu was very simple, taste was okay, for sure not justifying the price.

This place is a gem if your looking for good authentic Indian food. The service was good and everyone was very friendly with my family which is always nice. They also accommodated my elderly grandmother when space was needed for her wheelchair. All in all a great place to take your family for dinner.

Great authentic Indian food. Just as good as the best you would find in the city. I am not a vegetarian, but I did not feel like I was missing out on something in any of the dishes. The only reason I give 4 stars and not 5 is because I found the prices to be a little high. But overall a good experience and I would recommend to others.

I ordered Medu wada and dosa, Dosa was crispy. It was really well served and food was very Authentic. I would go there if I go back to Chicago. Perfect place to eat good Indian pure veg food.

This is one of the best restaurants I have ever seen. The tasty of the food was delicious, and when it comes to service Somya and Abhishek did a great job.

This was our first visit to Shree and it was great.We dined in and had a variety of yummy foods.What was amazing to see was all the to go orders popping out. Most of the people picking up were “native”I for sure recommend you visit soon.

Wish i could give 0! Today we ordered a takeout. Chocolate idly- guess its old one not sure. It was hard as rock. And they just poured chocolate syrup over old idli. Can’t imagine how a kid would eat that. All the curries were heavily salted. And dont ask me about taste. Its bad too. Vegetable vindaloo - couldnt find anything other than potato. And every single bread we ordered was dry. Most of it went to trash.

We visited with our family with lots of expectations, members at hotel are not polite , no south indian dishes. Only north indian with very limited options. I dont recommend.

So we came here for a food testing and we were all blown away by how amazing everything tasted. From appetizers like manchurian and chili paneer to entrees like butter chicken and rogan josh to the pista dessert and fruit cream. All to die for. I will definitely be catering food from here in the future!

Check your bill specially if its more than $100, their total amount in the bill wasnt matching and was $7 more than actual total amount. We found out this fraud when we saw the bill after reaching home. Beware.

This place is amazing!! I picked up food here today and everything was well packed, good portion, fresh and very delicious. I was able to pick up quickly during lunch and throughly enjoyed my meal. I completely recommend this restaurant if you’re in the area. I wish I lived closer!

Great south Indian food as per what only we tried. Liked ras malai in dessert specially.

Kind people good food. We had the spinach masala dosa which was dope, one of the better dosa Ive had. The potato Bonda were also super good. We also had the kachori, which were disappointing compared to the ones at Annapurna on Devon, but they werent pretending to be the same thing, and the pudiana paratha, which wasnt very minty, but was fine.

The food was great, I would give them 5Stars.

Shree is not your regular hole-in-the-wall Indian buffet restaurant. Its nicely decorated interior, attentive services, and delicious food are the reasons we dine there regularly. We also enjoy taking guests who always love it like we do. Outside of the buffet everything on the menu weve tasted is good too.
