They make you wait 20-30mins for a regular cup of tea. I was left to wonder if its really worth it! cup was filled less than 50% and the guy couldn’t explain why that is

This location is fantastic, with a breathtaking view. Go to ITH and buy a coffee, then turn around and enjoy the beautiful view of the lake while having coffee. Its also a photogenic place, and the first floor is only accessible when accompanied by a female. This establishment is still bustling with customers, and its tea is well-known for its distinct flavour. In the evening, the crowd usually grows. If youre in the area, stop by for a drink.❣️

Chai is okay, too costly just because of a view so great.Never order the food, I didn’t even get 60 pieces of french fries for Rupees 60/-However, ambience is definitely great with Shaukat mahal beside and vip/upper lake with a sunset is as soothing as it gets.

The front view was awesome in the evening time , the view of lake and VIP road was very very good at that time. Crowdy place but the menu was so good . Great food and an even better view, youll literally feel the ginger kick in the tea and the maska in the bun maska. Me and my friend also ordered french fries which were crisp and perfectly salted, some omelet bun which came with a mint sauce dressing on their recommendation and it tasted better than it sounds.Do request for the roof table so you can get the view of VIP road and the lake. And one last thing, since it is winter you can also get your personal bonfire which will keep you warm in this chilly weather.

Honestly saying it was an incredible experience to have tea at Indian Tea House (ITH). The lake view behind the ITH is simply amazing. It is located just behind the Gauhar mahal in Bhopal. Please come in the evening so that u can sit on the roof top and enjoy the breath taking view of Upper lake and sunset.

One of my favorite place in Bhopal to enjoy tea and coffee with a beautiful view. Although their food isnt that great. But I absolutely love their coffee.

My first time coming to this place. I must day the staff and rudeness is unfortunate use of this location. Coffee was okay but too many mouse near our tables and waiter said leave if you cant drink your coffee because of it. What a joke! Last time coming here. Thank you.

Ginger Tea is really good, also various types of snacks are available. You can enjoy your tea with a very nice view of Vip road and upper lake.

Place is definitely awesome .Service is also good . We tried zafrran tea which i will never recommend unless you like sugar syrup tea with dry fruits in it 😒 we did not liked the combination... So better not to try experiment with tea.

You should not visit this place in the daytime... you should visit this place only after the sunset, so that you can see the beauty of nature and its prime.This place is pretty economical plus the quality of the things they serve is also very good.If you want to have a good time with your family this is a good place... The view is gorgeous indeed with a glimpse of the upper lake. View after sunset is even more serene. Rooftop sitting. ITH unfortunately is not wheelchair accessible with congested parking space next to none. Orders are taken downstairs with pre-payment (food is brought to your sitting space later. Waiting time took more than expected.The food tasted okay, we ordered cheese Maggie, paneer club sandwich and peri peri fries. Sadly again the quantity was very less (disappointing). Staircase to go upstairs is very narrow and one way and entrance has broken pavements making it difficult to walk comfortably.

The quick success of this place has made them very arrogant and rude. Do not expect any kind of courtesy. It has become a chai tapri, but a slower one. They also claims a waiting time of 25-30 mins for a cup of tea. The other outlet at DB city mall is far better. Never going to visit this place again.

There are multiple outlet of ITH by n bhopal. This review is for the Iqbal Maidan outlet. The terrace gives you an awesome view of the upper lake. You can easily identify Raja Bhoj setu, lower lake view,the dazzling light around the lake,people boating etc.Will rate the place 5* for the terrace view but over all 3 as the food is full of mayonnaise and is bit costly comparing to other restaurants like Sagar gaire if you want to grab on veg junkie. The service time is usually long as the place is crowded most of the time. The menu has both veg n non veg items ranging from pizzas to burgers , Chinese cuisine and salads. There are options available for hot and cold beverages as well. Hope you ll have a nice time.

It was a good place before it got extensively commercialized. I ordered French fries, which were replaced by the person taking order by masala French fries.Those were 70/- Rs by the way.Then I was given literally 15 French fries in a box that looked like it was made for 5 times the amount. The quantity was not even good for one.When I talked to the staff, their excuse was that they give measured quantities only. Which is alright, unless youre just being served hopeless quantities.The chai was also disappointing. Only thing good about the place, is the location...Gauhar mahal.Not good at all.

The view is awesome and kinda rustic. Its an open setting, you could either take your tea/snacks on the terrace or on the stairs in front of the tea house. I feel like the tea is overpriced because is tastes like regular tea which you could easily get at any tapri.
