Besides historical and natural places you can visit the famous religious places here. Nilkanth Mahadev temple situated in Bhadrudhun tehsil of the district is considered as one of the famous temples here. You can get a glimpse of the temple once you enter the village. Nilkanth Temple is situated on a high peak here. A local Kvandati is also attached to this temple, it is believed that the first instance of Shivalinga was held by a widowed woman, she worshiped Lord Shiva every day. His unwavering devotion to God was not seen by his family members, and the family tried to sow that Shivalinga in the ground, but Shivling could emerge again and again.This process continued continuously and there was a large sand mound. Understanding this as a miracle of God, the villagers established the temple of Lord Shiva here. It is believed that this is a very old temple. Religious events are organized at large levels on special occasions.
