The original temple of Khemaj Mata Ji is situated in village Dei, bundi district in Rajasthan. The temple was founded somewhere in 10th Century AD by Maharaja Mulraj Solanki, founder of Solanki dynasty of Gujarat. It was then renovated by Mahajara Sidhraj Jaisinh Solanki of gujarat. There is a whole book written on the history of Solanki rajputs and the temple which is available in the Khemaj Mata temple, Dei.

There is a temple of Kshemkari Mata on the hill located just in the west direction of Bhinmal city, after having darshan, one realizes the divine powers and by standing above and looking at it, the surrounding area is completely green. Standing ahead on the hill above Bhinmal, Matas temple can be seen by standing in front, there is a huge trident, which is spreading its radiance giving a gold-like appearance.
