The National Education Policy outlines not only the quality of education but also the quality of teacher education. As a result of the constitutional commitment to achieve the goal of universalization of elementary education in the country, the concept of district education and training institutions at the district level is very important and very appropriate, timely and relevant to the need of the present times. The main objective of these institutions is to strengthen the formal and informal education system.District Education and Training Institute Ratuda, RudraprayagDistrict Rudraprayag is located in the Garhwal division of Uttarakhand state. Government Order Notification No. 2867 / 1-1111 / 11 R-S issued from the revenue section of Rudraprayag district Uttar Pradesh came into existence on 18 September 1997. The district Rudraprayag was formed by combining Rudraprayag and Ukhimath tehsil of Chamoli district, Jakholi Upa tehsil of Tehri district and Bachunsun and Dhanpur strip of Srinagar tehsil of Pauri district.In compliance with the recommendations of the National Education Policy 1986, District Education and Training Institute was established in each district. District Resource Center of district Rudraprayag on National Highway No.58 to Shri Badrinath, 08 km from Rudraprayag, was established as per Ratuda Government Order No. 0-11 / XXIV (2) / 2006 dated March 01, 2006. The Resource Center has been set up in the light of the National Curriculum-2009 under the Teacher Education Program of the Government of India, Government Order No. 472 / XXIV-3/13/04 (65) 2005 dated June 27, 2013 of District Education and Training Institute (DIET) The form is accentuated.
