Brahmadev is a village development committee in Darchula District in the Mahakali Zone of western Nepal. At the time of the 1991 Nepal census it had a population of 1769 people living in 314 individual households.During Navratras, in the Chaitra month of the Indian calendar, devotees in large number come here to have their wishes fulfilled. After worshipping Mata Purnagiri, people also pay their tributes to her loyal devotee Bada Sidth Nath at Brahmadev and Mahendra Nagar in Nepal.

If you are going from Indian side than after crossing the dam you have to walk on dirt road to reach here. Bike taxis are also available. A temple and a small market where you can buy some Chinese and foreign goods.
