Great experience. Experienced the fairy boat for the first time. Travel was awesome but the food is too expensive for a normal person. Perhaps you can take food items with you even if it is prohibited. Large parking area for vehicles available with good mounting facility.

Its okay and should be experienced once. But it takes 2 hours for loading & unloading. Moreover 4.5 hours tentative for journey.Executive class is noisy, business class is good.Best if dont want to take road risk driving.

It was a fun trip with family and friends. A small ship 233 capacity with cafeteria inside,very reasonably priced and nice trip. Takes only one hour from ghogha to dahej without any hassle of road traffic.Before Ro Ro Ferry, we need to travel almost 10 hours to reach surat or bhavnagar.But after the Ro Ro ferry the travel time is very less almost 2 hours.I was in bhavnagar and from bhavnagar went to ghogha .And from Ghogha you can have the benefit of Ro Ro ferry.Ghogha To Dahej Ro Ro Ferry Travel time is : 2 Hours only

Its kind of ok...if you dont want to drive on road and risk yourself ,this is best way you can get it done....you can take car/bike/truck/tempo traveller and yourself... travelling time is huge to reach ghogha port to hazira port or either way (~5hr one way journey)Overall facilities/infrastructure are good though in ship. you can buy drinks, foods etc at normal price.

Convenient way from kadhiyawad to south Gujarat..restaurant available , from ghogha to hazira 3 pm trip u can enjoy sunset on board ...more than 4 hours trip...should improve toilet area

I understand there have been some management and personnel issues at this resort? Most of the staff I observed were working hard and did a good job. Restrooms were being kept clean (A+), the store was running great (A), food service was good (A-) and it was a holiday weekend. However, check-in was delayed due to ranger (in training?) busy with other duties. Good to see work on improvements in progress. Will be great when more sites get electricity.

Very good initiative by the promoters and the Government. We were booked for 12 o clock departure so had to be at the entry point by 11am and we got boarded at 12.15, the departure took place at 12.45. Reached Ghogha at 2.45 and the exit from ship was at 3.15pm. So approx of 4 hours total time.We were booked in the business class which was very clean and had comfortable seats in an AC cabin with ample leg room.The Air conditioning system was not so great. More fans could have been installed for air circulation inside the cabin.Quite a variety of beverages and snacks available at the food counter at reasonable rates.The ferry was super stable and you will not feel motion sickness.Best part is you can take whatever vehicle you have including bus and trucks. Price for a car was reasonable at 1000 Rs.The parking and assistance by the staff is really commendable.The security could have been more polite with the first timers.Enjoy.....

The ferry service is good for connectivity between East and West Gujarat. It takes more than 4 hours to reach destination. You can save minimum of 400 Kms by road distance by taking this ferry

Best part is you can take whatever vehicle you have including bus and trucks. Price for a car was reasonable at 1000 bucks. I cut 1 star for 2 things. The waiting area before boarding could have been much much better and the deck area on the ferry could have been larger for passengers to roam around.

Excellent service. Quite smooth experience. Easy way to avoid driving of about 100 kms. You wouldnt save much time but can save on stress of driving. Staff is quite courteous. Management is Excellent. You wouldnt feel any motion sickness issue as the ship is quite big. On board food is available at reasonable rate. You can enjoy the air on the deck. Sitting area is air conditioned. Ship is big enough to have many trucks and cars on board.

The ferry service is at par. Their parking, waiting area, onboarding area and management are all good. The ship is neat and clean. You can take your vehicle all the way to the ship. The ship runs on time and staffs are co-operative. You can enjoy the deck while in transit. Place is easy to reach by (be aware, google sometimes take you in wrong direction when you are near to ferry service, ask for local help). What you dont get is a lot of food stalls for your needs. Ship offers onboard snacks.

Worst experienceLike local sarkari general dabba.The first phase between Ghogha and Dahej cost ₹6.15 billion (US$86 million) to the exchequer. It was envisioned to reduce the travel time between the two places from 6–8 hours by road to 1-1.5 hours by sea. The RORO services was launched by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 22 October 2017.Official they told in publicly this all but in reality they told as that route is via sea is 1-1.5 hr. That was totally fake. Its take almost 6-7 hr. Which is same if u go by road.

The Ro Ro Ferry plying between Dahej and Ghoga (Bhavnagar) is an amazing experience. The small 2 hour journey, inaugurated last year by Prime Minister Modi, has reduced the travel time between the two cities from 6-7 hour earlier by road to around 2.5 hours (transcending via the sea). One can take personal transport (two wheeler or car or even commerical vehicles) in the ship. Plying twice a day and charges are 350 for executive class and 500 for the luxury cabin. Charges for a car are Rs 1000. Refreshments may be purchased on board. Staff is excellent and very polite. Worth a visit with friends and family. Photos are of the luxury cabin of the ship (bigger version) while the smaller ferry was under maintenance (photo attached). The website of ferry is always kept up to date and quite helpful. Online tickets may be purchased.

I was pretty surprised that there was not a single security check point not for vehicles nor for the passengers. Anyone can carry anything in their personal vehicle or in luggage. They need to put scanners for passengers and their vehicles too. So Very first point is Security and I found this Very crucial point is neglected by them.Their website is not that much user-friendly, not rates for different categories of seating was clearly mentioned in website, Seat selection section is also place upward down means exactly opposite to online movie tickets seat selection. They need to mention upward marking or position of LCD screens so its useful to judge.Very limited items in cafe menu. Hand dryer is not working in washroom.If you are in business every single point counts and they need to understand this first. Overall I can say good experience but not great.

Excellent experience from Ghogha to Dahej.It tooks 1:30 hrs to reach at Dahej. I had a booking through mobile in November 2018.Unplanned trip through Ro Ro Ferry was awesome.Supportive & caring staff.It has a facility of snacks.They also have a wheelchair facility for handicapped and Senior Citizens.Connectivity from Dahej to Surat is not that good. Good experience. Time taken is a bit more. Seating is comfortable. But the canteen just in the seating area is a trouble. The smell of cooking and the gas becomes unbearable sometimes.

Hazira to ghogha ro ro ferry is best in its class. Enough space for trucks and cars parking. It is bit costly but you will fill relax during the journey. Gujarati theater play was running on multiple screens during journey. It takes 4:45 hours to reach the destination. You will not get local transportation from ghogha as well as from hazira. Cafeteria is available at ferry. Best part is sunset view from top. You can go around to top during entire journey. Music was running throughout the journey. Seating arrangements are available at top to feel the beauty of sea and sunset.

Surat to Bhavnagar is a long drive. Ferry takes almost same time if you consider check in and check out time slots. But saves long driving as you can enjoy journey by sea. But during Covid, it is dangerous as nobody adheres to safety norms of Covid 19.

Great deal of hardship faced by thousands of truck drivers, large nos of Diamond industries of Surat commuters and all those who travel to south india from -Amreli District,Bhavnagar District, as well as Gir Somnath District drives directly to Ghogha- upload in RoRo and reach Dahej within 2 hours,thus reducing 8-10 hours drive,save diesel and ,petrol and reach Bombay,surat Nasik with great deal of esse . In month or two Ghogha-Surat RoRo will be launched. This should bring further ease for through transporters and long distance travelers. Great development by Gujarat Government. Hats off.

From surat hazira to ghogha bhavnagar,Our ferry was started @ 8:05 am and we reached at ghogha at 12:30 , but ferry takes 15 to 20 minutes to settle..so finaly we landed with our car in road at 1:00 clock..Nice experience at all

Awesum experience

Its about 5th Jan 2020. Dahej is almost looks like outdated and full of technical issues with Pathetic service. Android app not working need to use web app. Booked tickets they asked to report by 7:30am we reached 7am the captain announced due to some technical issues we ll be delayed so they started around 8:30 which was scheduled at 8am. And then after what happened is horrible Ro-Ro Ferry failed and we were at same place for around 2-3 hrs we were expecting reach in 4 hrs but around 3Pm we came to know Dahej is having issues in engine overheating so they requested for rescue team they came around 3:30 pm and we reached Ghogha from Hazira at 6pm.

Hajira-Ghogha service is good,but both side bus service is poorest it could have been far better.
