Probably the first Research Institute in Gujrat. Small sized campus but compact. Academic research level is also fine. Connectivity is OK toward the other parts of the country. People from the Northern & Eastern part of the country would find it difficult to deal with the Food-items available in the canteen. Institute Guest-house is fine and well maintained. Local people are very nice to visitors.

We were there to get first hand information about a project for salt separation. Highly qualified and experienced scientists, courteous approach and hospitality. Hope to build a fruitful relationship for our industry.

Tottaly waste of public resources and money,I worked there as a project assistant, The staff and seniors do not cooperate to new person , a fake attitude of being engaged and authorized.The senior person tortured me alot in just first 2 week and I resigned within that very much short period of time. She has brutal and like uneducated mannersI was working on a Tottaly new system and oftenly asked for difficulties and guidance, and I received always disgusting ridiculous responce. From a senior scientist .Always tries to discourage new people.The worst experience of my life and Waste of time.

They have published hell lots of research papers and publications on marine science. All well known scientists work here with their dedicated labs loaded with all latest technologies and instruments.

Nice organisation but employees having always internal matters. No body working more than 2 our in their shift.. government should keep eye on this.
