Hence it is often called as Triveni too.People from far distances visit this place to perform funeral/yearly rituals here.Place is not that clean as you can see lot of plastic wastes here and there, even in the river.Also, auto/cab facility is not available here.

We visited the Sangameshwara temple near Kuduthurai. Visit to Kuduthurai is not complete without visiting this temple. Dedicated to Lord shiva taking the name of Sangameshwara, this temple is pretty old. Fairly large temple.

This place is mainly used to perform rituals after the death. Most of the crowd visiting this place just to do that. Lot of pollution around; not a tourist place. The river bed and surrounding areas are completely polluted; government is not maintain this place at all. Not suitable for visiting with family, small kids.

One of the best pilgrimage place. Visually we can see Sangam (merge) of two Rivers Cavery and Bhavani. One more river Amirdha river come from and join with other two. Both Siva and Vishnu Lords are in same Temple. Temple is on the bank of river Cavery and between the two rivers.
