Sai Baba of Shirdi (died 15 October 1918), also known as Shirdi Sai Baba, was an Indian spiritual master who is regarded by his devotees to be a manifestation of Sri Dattaguru and identified as a saint and a fakir. He was revered by both his Hindu and Muslim devotees during, as well as after his lifetime.Sai Babas disciples and devotees claim that he performed many miracles such as bilocation, levitation, mind-reading, materialisation, exorcisms, entering a state of Samādhi at will, lighting lamps with water, removing his limbs or intestines and sticking them back to his body (khandana yoga), curing the incurably sick, appearing beaten when another was beaten, preventing a mosque from falling down on people, and helping his devotees in other miraculous ways. He also gave Darshan (vision) to people in the form of Sri Rama, Krishna, Vithoba, Shiva and many other gods depending on the faith of devotees.

The construction of this temple of Sai Baba is very beautiful. A good number of goats have been placed for people to sit on.In the back of the temple there is a very nice construction around the lake. Here people can do walking, running, exercising. And behind the temple is another very large ground where you can play any game.Great place to learn to drive.

Sai baba of shirdi(died 15 October 1918), also known as Shirdi sai baba, was an Indian spiritual master who is regarded by his devotees to be a manifestation of Sri Dattaguru and identified as a saint and a fakir. He was revered by both his Hindu and Muslim devotees during, as well as after his lifetime.According to accounts from his life, he preached the importance of realization of the self and criticized love towards perishable things. His teachings concentrate on a moral code of love, forgiveness, helping others, charity, contentment, inner peace and devotion to the God and guru. He stressed the importance of surrender to the true Satguru, who, having trod the path to divine consciousness, will lead the disciple through the jungle of spiritual training.Sai Baba also condemned distinction based on religion or caste. It remains unclear if he was a Muslim or a Hindu. This, however, was of no consequence to Sai Baba. His teachings combined elements of Hinduism and Islam: he gave the Hindu name Dwarakamayi to the mosque in which he lived, practised both Hindu and Muslim rituals, taught using words and figures that drew from both traditions and took samadhi in Shirdi. One of his well-known epigrams, Allah Malik (God is King) and Sabka Malik Ek (Everyones Master is One), is associated with both Hinduism and Islam. He is also known to have said Look to me, and I shall look to you and Allah tera bhala karega. He was said to be an incarnation of Dattatreya.

Hi Guys,I love the vibe of temple. This temple is so beautiful and well maintained.this place is so peaceful. There is seating arrangement outside side the temple. People do gossips there. One more thing,There is a running track besides the temple, people usually go for a walk and run there. Only thing that I dont like is there isnt a Prasads Shop.

Sri Narasimha Swamy was an ardent devotee of Baba and set up the Sai Samajam in Mylapore Chennai. He wrote multiple volumes on Baba both during Babas life and subsequently. In his book Life of Sai Baba Vol 1[11] it says that Sai Baba would make references to Patri in the Nizam State and much later in life told one of his staunch devotees, Mhalsthapathy, a man of immense integrity, that his parents were Brahmins of Patri, in Parvani Taluk. He also told Mhalsthapathy that at a tender age of five, his parents handed him over to a Fakir which is fairly indisputable.[12] Sai Baba occasionally showed greater interest in devotees from Patri and Pavani inquiring about others in the village, but that is as far as information is available, about Shri Sai Babas birth and origins.Even from an early age, he was always dispassionate and imbibed the detachment from his foster father, the Fakir. Unfortunately, the fakir too died within 4-5 years of adopting Baba. But before he died, the Fakir instructed his wife to hand over the young Baba to the guardianship of one Gopal Deshmukh, the Deshmukh or Provincial Governor of Jintur Paragana.[13]Young Baba spent the best and most informative part of his childhood with Gopal Rao Deshmukh in his fort at Selu, which formed the center of the Jintur Pargana (District). Young Baba was deeply attached to his Master and would be constantly at his side whether at Pooja or attending to administrative matters or other mundane matters. While there seems to be no formal education in either Marathi or Telugu, which would have been the most likely local languages there,[14] he got education of the highest kind because Gopal Rao Deshmukh was a staunch devotee of Tirpuati Venkatesa, a possible reason why Sai Baba referred to Venkusa as one of his Gurus, as mentioned in the Satcharitra as well.

I see your first four posts are all on this same subject, so it must bother you? However, your first - and only - review posted just after you joined TA in August has 220 characters! So you can write a 200 character review :-)Since you are new, you may not realize that when TA did not have a minimum character count, there were some reviews that consisted of just one word and were *totally useless*.Many of us welcomed the minimum character count since it definitely helped to improve the reviews. I would be delighted to see a minimum of 300 for hotels and 200 for restaurants and attractions :-)->>You could even find that your reviews are getting biased toward the negative.
