It is a very ancient temple of Hanuman ji, its mention is also found in Sri Ramacharimanas. It is believed that Lord Hanuman along with Lord Rama rested here for some time while going to Ayodhya. And along the back of the temple is a 100 year old peepal tree, in which all the wishes are fulfilled by offering water.
