It was very very good and I love it.

Its an amazing place. The library is fully underground and houses lakhs of books. Its a pity its built at such a remote place that avid readers cant easily access it.

Good plece mind blowing performance

This place is hard to find on the map as well as a very less known but very interesting off-beat Tourist destination. Its one of Asias Biggest Underground Library. I managed to see just 1/4th of it which took me approx. 35 mins to cover that too without stopping to get a good look of the books. Just imagine the size and the number of books neatly placed in the shelves was around 9-10 lakhs. That count doesnt include the collection which is not placed in the shelves. Books from all over the world spanning even before WW1 can be found here.

Its really big, and has fixed time in which you can explore it.

Its really a huge library. I think its largest underground library. I saw many kind of books like Religious, Law, Medical etc. Its not yet inaugurated and not opened for public yet. You can meet the officials and request them to take a visit.

Rajasthan has a giant library buried under the heaps of sand.We’ve all heard of underground wine cellars, but underground libraries are a more surreal concept. And yet, one exists in or rather under the heart of Rajasthan in a small village called Bhadariya.This is counted amongst one of Asia’s biggest libraries and contains 9 lakh books arranged nicely behind 562 glass shelves, to offer to the scholars and learners that visit this grand bibliotheca every year.The collection of these books started in the year 1998. Until then these funds were allotted to build a temple for a goddess.Subsequently, a trust named Jagdamba Seva Committee owned by Sant Harivansh Singh Nirmal thought of investing this huge amount in building these vast chambers of knowledge. He himself stayed in a room for years and read almost all the books available in this library.Once you enter the space you won’t be able to control your overwhelm and excitement to explore each and every aisle. The wooden frames holding a plethora of books are embedded in the walls throughout the corridors and have an appealing charm.The pastel shades on the wall make it look even more peaceful and worth visiting for people who are not really into books.

An underground library has been built by Sant Harivansh Singh Nirmal in Bhadariya village of Jaisalmer. There are 562 shelves in this library and about four thousand people can sit and read together.

This interesting and mammoth library is unexpected.
